Every time my FSX will crash about 10 to 15 minutes into flying. Here are some of the logs, can someone help please!!! Just installed the Flight 1 ATR 72 under FSX Deluxe SP2 Windows 10. After I installed it and selected the ATR 72 as an aircraft, it hangs. It did ask me to load the DLLs, etc and I answered Yes and it hung loading the aircraft. All other FSX A/C load fine.. With the phase out of FSX, not sure whether Flight 1 will offer support. I have a 3.5 Intel CPU, 500gb SSD And a AMD Radeon 7970 graphics card with 5 displays running windows 7 64bit. I have FSX Deluxe edition with accelerator disk. FSX loads perfectly I have made a separate. Folder marked FSX on the c drive and that's where it installs to. The acceleration disk loads perfectly as well. Both allow themselves to be activated. I start FSX, make my selections and settings. All OK. I now select "fly now". Scenery loads. The screens on all monitors flash as the resolution is changed. After that NOTHING. No crash information, no "fsx has stopped working check online for help in solving the problem" Nothing. I don't know what to …

I have windows 10, a GTX 980, 16GB of ram, and an intel 5820k. Yet I cannot play this game. My old PC ran it better than this, at least I never got any OOM on it anyway. Why do I get OOM, how do I fix it? I want to fly again without hearing the OOM chimes. I had a GTX 660 Ti, and 8GB of ram on there, and an i7 2600k. You'd think with better of everything, that the performance on this would be better. So why did that computer never give me OOM and this one gives it at the drop of a hat?

Twice now I have run out of memory with FSX, and I also have another game that has similar problems, Elite Dangerous. I have windows 10, and the microsoft fix installer does not solve my problem, and I was wondering how I change my "heap limit" in Windows 10 or even see if this is the problem?

Hi, so everytime I load PMDG 777, it shows up for maybe a second (virtual cockpit) and then the game shuts down to desktop, NO ERROR MESSAGE! It just disappears. Doesn't matter which airport etc. Also this doesn't happen with any other aircraft (as far as I know), PMDG 737NG works just fine. My specs: ASRock H97 Anniversary Intel Core i5-4590 3,3 GHz MSI NVIDIA GTX960 OC 2GB 8 GB RAM (2x4) Windows 10 x64 Did anyone come across the same problem? Clean OS install followed by P3Dv3 FTX Global (v3 installer), FSUIPC (Oct 4th) and PMDG 737 & 777 (v3 installers) Wondering if anyone has experienced similar issue. Hello. I have had this crash-to-desktop twice now, both of the times it happened after I calibrated by joystick. It has some problem with the rudder axis, sometimes the axis doesn't go all the way (i.e turning it full left does not move the rudder fully left). This is usually fixed by calibrating it, but after I apply the calibration, FSX crashes. I am using FSX Deluxe with SP2, no FSUIPC, add-ons installed were Aerosoft Airbus X Extended, FSDreamTeam's KJFK v2, and AES 2.39a. I am running Windows 10, only tweaks are HIGHMEMFIX, WideVieWAspect, Texture Max Load (4096), and Bufferpools=0. This does not seem to be caused by bufferpools, it happened without the tweak too…

So My Prepar3D was working very poorly for awhile and so was my computer so I got it taken in for tweaking. A very long time later I got it back. I needed to renew and bugfix prepar3d again. So that's what I did. Anyway long story short The Sims fps is not very stable constantly changing between 10-30fps. My Sim has now started crashing every time I start or load it or try and fly. Fellow simmers, First of all, don't know if this is the correct forum for this problem but it is a CTD so.... I recently bought a new pc and decided to go with Prepar3dv2 for it. So I bought the academic license, the most common planes together with Orbx Global Base, My traffic 6 and also two airports. I have an issue these days and really frustrated coz my fsx cannot even start after I press the button as usual. It load first of all with the start screen and then immediate disappear. I'm posting here as a last resort. I recently upgraded my pc to an i7 4790k and have been trying to get my pc up and running properly ever since. I installed windows then the 1st update I installed was service pack 1. Windows itself is running fine & not having any problems with that. So last night I installed FSX and the install freezes for a few minutes on removing applications, the continues the install (this has never happened to me prior to updating pc). I copied most of this post from the Simconnect forum I recently updated to Win 10 pro, reinstalled FSX, updates and X pack. I'm getting intermittent exception handler failures during online flights. The details of the failure calls out Simconnect. Hello. So I built a new PC for FSX, but I have been getting quite frequent crashes to the desktop. The AppCrashView report is linked at https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30271625/Report.wer These happen quite randomly, this one was at a gate in EGKK in the PMDG737NGX. The only addons running were UK2000 EGKK scenery, the NGX, and AES 2.39a. My OS is Windows 10 x64 and the only tweaks to FSX are HGHMEMFIX, WideViewAspect, and NVIDIA Inspector tweaks. Hi evryone, since i am having many CTD with faulting Module NTDLL.DLL I read one of the possible causes is Uimacore but without that anytime i use FSX menus i CTD. I felt I had to record my sincere thanks to AVSIM for the help I received recently on 2 topics that I posted. They each received no fewer than around 40 posts each from the moderator Jim Young, as I struggled to correct things. In particular, he kept the faith that with his help, I would get there in the end and achieve a satisfactory result. For an amateur like myself this Forum has proved invaluable. No doubt there may be other problems in the future with my FSX but for the time being I'm flying again, thanks to AVSIM. :smile:

Hi, Up to now, I have used FSX with photo'scenery addons for the UK (England, Scotland & Wales) satisfactorily. Recently, due to an un-related problem, I've had to completely uninstall FSX and all addons associated with it. I've now reinstalled FSX and using the photo' scenery DVD's, have started to reinstall my VFR Photo' Scenery from PlaySims (HorizonSimulation). All the scenery for England & Wales installed correctly but the Scotland scenery will not install. Dunno you guys, but my FSX+ENB almost always crash when handling menus and popus inside the sim. Wonder if there is a fix for that since ENB is awesome and can't really skip it. Thank you.

Hello everyone, I have just recently flown VATSIM's CTP 2015 westbound. On final approach, the FS made the error noises and crashed. This is strange for me because I am using Direct X 10. I have flown much longer flights 15-17 hour flights without this anomaly, but on this short flight from EHAM-KBOS, an OOM!!! I thought OOMs couldn't happen under Direct X 10. I am using Steve's DirectX fixer to make everything work. Is there some explanation for this problem? Thanks, 1251452 PS: the acars (VAFS sucks) also failed to recover the flight, so all is lost.

Hello, Lately, all of a sudden, FSX-SE started freezing for me. I already explained everything in this topic: http://www.avsim.com/topic/474350-ngx-causing-freezes/ so I won't go over it again. When FSX freezes, it will freeze only with the PMDG 737 and for way too long. Minutes perhaps hours which is unacceptable especially since it just started happening. I have tried everything people have fixed freezing with and nothing worked. Please help. Thanks
