My fsx starts up no problem, however when I choose the free flight option the screen loads but the plane preview is black and after a few seconds it freezes my entire computer, cant even ctrl,alt,dele. I have updated the FSDT manager, and still having same problem. Any thoughts.

Hi guys..I am getting a CTD when I click on menus and this is the error. I dont understand why as I have the UIAutomationCore file in the fsx folder. Thoughts? Hello pilots, Don't know what to say but express my extreme madness...so after an almost perfect 6 hour flight from OMDB to LFPG. The game crashed with a g3d.dll Fatal Error upon final approach. I have ORBX FTX Global, PMDG 777-300ER, and Aerosoft Night Environment France. I guess i'm done with FSX..sigh

Hello. Today I finally made the switch to Prepar3D and I love it so far, except for one CTD that I have had happen. When I first load a flight, everything works fine. However, if I was to load another flight, or reload the same flight on top of the original one, P3D crashes without any error message. After investigating the App Crash View, it seems that it is caused by PMDG_737_NGX.dll. I do have the P3D version of the NGX, I'm running Prepar3D 3.1 on 64-bit Windows 10. OK... I installed V3.1 client successfully yesterday...tested it for a bit flew the 777 end to end and was very happy. a) I saved a restore point. Then I did the following 1) Ran the update for the ASNext for 3.1 2). I recently updated my computer to Windows 7 and installed FS9, Radar Contact, and Wilco 737 PIC. From the FS main menu, or in a flight, I get a "Microsoft Flight Simulator has stopped working" every time I try to select an aircraft in create a flight, or change an aircraft when in an existing flight. It does not matter what aircraft I am selecting -- an included FS9 aircraft or the Wilco add-on. I've had no crashes from any other menu options, only the aircraft selection. Gents, my FSX crashes when loading. It happens exactly when "Loading terrain data" is finished, and "loading autogen starts". The faulting module is terrain.dll. Since my last successful flight, I've installed freeware scenery Rovaniemi revisited, ESPA and ENAN. I uninstalled all three, certain one of those was the culprit, but no luck. Then I rolled back a backup of default scenery, the 0001- and world, still no success. I also tried with an earlier fsx.cfg, still no luck. Hello. I have developed a problem. When using MCE along with PFE as I have done for a long time , when I am taxing to the runway,following the nice verbal directions from the PFE taxi guide feature. when I reach the holding point and am told to contact tower,FSX goes to the task bar,and I am looking at the desk top. It has never done this before. If I don't use MCE,all is well. and everything continues on as normal,but with MCE active, I get this "crash" to the task bar. Hi I am looking for some help. My FS9 has crashed upon a fresh install. Im using Windows 8.1 on a MAC through bootcamp which is all running fine. I have literally made a fresh install of FS9 and I have installed AI traffic only using WOAI and Alpha India using AIFP. before I instaleld the traffic all was fine and now when I have installed it all I get the following message. My family think I should wipe my PC and find another hobby, but before I consider that (?!) maybe someone can help me get my sim working again. I have been plagued with CTDs recently. Typically, like tonight, I can fly for two or three hours only to have the sim freeze up as I taxi off the runway (that might be relevant? I run PFE and FDC). No keyboard or joystick inputs work any more. If I put FS9 into windowed mode, the FS screen is black. Hello Folks, About two weeks ago, I uninstalled the FSX DVD Edition to make room for the Steam Edition. I made sure to erase all traces of the old version in order to avoid potential conflicts before installing FSX:SE. I installed all of the Add-Ons that I knew should work with the Steam Edition, including ORBX Global, Vector and OpenLC, GSX, Level-D 767 and others. A few days later I attempted a medium-range flight from LOWW to OMDB with the Level-D 767. Hi, I believe I'm suffering from the crash many others are when they use their PMDG 777 aircraft within P3Dv3 after 3 hours or so. I'm not posting here to diagnose that crash more a question on how to get information out of my event viewer. I know how to open event viewer and view the log information for applications, security etc and what to look for, what confuses me is that I can't find any record at all of the P3D CTD I am experiencing so it makes it hard for me to understand what's going on. Hi all. This is my first post here and I'm looking for your wisdom. A few weeks ago my FSX crashed in the middle of a flight. The Windows crash report said the faulting module was Fsuipc4.dll. Pete Dowson, the creator of FSUIPC, said the FSUIPC log indicated that it was closing normally in a sequence that involved SimConnect and FSX closing normally. Ever since, I have been unable to open FSX and FSUIPC. You see, I could open it by declining to run FSUIPC, but I need it to run ACARS for my VA. Hi. I don't usually fly long-haul but trying to fly from CYVR to PHNL yesterday (in a PSS b777) and from PHNL to RJAA today (PMDG 747) both resulted in a BSOD after about 4 hours. I don't know if anyone here will be able to help? I have never had a BSOD on this PC before (which I use only for FS9 & FSX).
