Hi, in the last days my simulator started crashing, it happens after approximately 2 hours of flight when i turn the sound on. When i turn the sound on (Q) i can hear only the sound from the cocpit (air condition etc.) but not the engine sound. When i turn the sound off and on again, P3D will crash. It is happening in the PMDG 737NGX but i can not tell if the problem is fixed to NGX or not as i only fly with the 737. Any ideas? Hi All I am hoping for some help with a CTD issue I am having with FSX (standalone version). This has occured whilst flying EGLL-OMDB with the PMDG T7. I had flown KORD-EGLL previously last week and had no issues, also with the PMDG T7. I had done a couple of flights prior to that also with the T7 and NGX, all with no issues. I did have some CTD's earlier in the year with the T7 and from what I remember they usually occured when in Europe rather than NA. The flight today crashed about 2 hours in so I reloaded, it carried on for an hour then crashed again. The faulting module path are unknown although when I exited after the second crash it did point to terrain.dll as …

Hello one and all, first time poster so please be gentle! I am running FSX Acceleration and have just 'upgraded' to Windows 10. Since I've done this, FSX has stopped working. Well, it loads, let's me plan a flight, download weather etc and when I press 'fly now', it crashes back to my desktop... Anyone have any ideas why or if there is a fix?? Thanks

It was about 3/4 thru my flight in the PMDG 737NGX for P3D, I decided it was getting too dark and really wanted to land during dusk. Reset the time back about 30 minutes and while the bar was loading I got the CTD g2d.dll. I then tried to reload the flight via Simstarter NG and P3D started up but I think when it went to load the flight it crashed. That error according to Appcrash was ntdll.dll. Started going thru the process using the AVSIM guide to eliminate the culprit. It seems its just PMDG related. Load other aircraft via SimstarterNG and they load fine. Load other aircraft not using SimstarterNG and they load fine. I load the default flight …

Hi I just did a partial upgrade from v3.0 to v3.2 (P3D) last night by uninstalling and installing the client and content of P3D. Launching P3D (v3.23) takes me to the flight set up screen (choose vehicle, location, weather, etc.) and I select the default Raptor at default airport. No problem. (EzDok starts as well, ASN no problem). I then select another vehicle from the pull down menu, and for a second the plance loads (I can see the VC loading) then boom! My PC shuts down. No rebooting. I checked the error log and it is telling me "Kernal-Power 41". I have no idea what this error is, but more importantly, what shall I do? Appreciate your advice. Kay

Lately I have been having a lot of CTD while flying P3D V3.2. My FPS always start out good and on some flights within 10 minutes they go below 5 FPS. I have an I7 4790K no OC, GTX 970 and 8gb of ram. I've recently come back to FSX and was having problems with seemingly random CTDs of FSX CD version in Win10. In the end I installed the steam edition and that cured it. However when I read this thread and guide I went back to the disk version and post CTD used windows event viewer and found that the uiautomationcore was to blame. The version being used by FSX was I presume the Win10 version in c:\windows\system32 dir. As suggested I downloaded an earlier uiautomationcore (version 2008) and installed it in the FSX directory. So far so good - no more CTDs. Derry.

Please help. I have WIN7 64 bit Acceleration. My FSX was working fine yesterday. Last night I tried it and FSX crashes as soon as the Select Aircraft, Time, Weather, etc screen comes up. I have tried letting FSX build a new fsx.cfg. I renamed the logbook.bin and let it build a new logbook with no success. I am not running any third party addons. I have done a scannow and am not missing any system files. I've even upgraded to the latest release of Nvidia drivers - 365.10 - but whenever I try to bring my FSX: SE session to windowed mode, or ALT-Tab to access other applications, after a while I get a CTD... There are no specific logs on the event viewer ( windows 10 64 bit here ). Also, the window can not be positioned where I want it to... I used to place it from the top of the screen, in 1920 x 560, and use WindowsBorderlessGamming to use FSX:SE with Aerowinx PSX, but I can no longer do it :-( because it disappears whenever I change to the PSX window... and after a while FSX:SE crashes... Any hints ? Thx!

FSX used to work consistently but now crashes on start up resulting in the screen size increasing then decreasing in a constant loop.Occasionally can fly for a minute after restarting but crashes again and again. I have updated RAM and Graphics card with no resolution as well as reinstalled software. Any help appreciated.

Can anyone let me know what my issue would be, had an CTD on approach the other day (been having some problems of late with a lot of CTD on every flight). Any suggestions, I was looking around to see if anyone had this error but I could not find similar issues in my search. I installed P3d v3.2 and at startup when loading a scenaro, I am now getting a fatal error Faulting application path: D:\Prepar3Dv3\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: D:\Prepar3Dv3\bglmanx.dll I know it has to do with the fsdt/couatl applications but I dont own any of the sceneries or GSX. I did own have the QW757 but I deleted it from 3.1. Anyone else run into this issue? Also are there other developers who use this..I forget.(Flightbeam,etc..) I dont think so but I want to be sure. Hello, I have a fresh new install of FSX Deluxe edition patched to Acceleration on a brand new system with a dedicated drive. After the full install, I was able to fly a few missions and other flights with no major problems but now that I have installed FSUIPC version 4.9.4.9, my simulator crashes to desktop every time. Anyway to tell if this is caused by FSUIPC? Here are 2 different entries from my event viewer. Both crashes happened within 10 min of each other. Hello all, I could please greatly utilize some assistance. I have been having sever issues since upgrading to v3.2 that I even did a complete reinstall of windows and P3D. I would go back to 3.1 but I can't find my installers. P3D keeps having issues where it will crash mid-flight, doesn't matter on what aircraft what scenery or weather etc. It also crashes every time I turn P3D off, even if I close it through the main menu.
