Hello- After re installing FSX last week, some new items have arose that haven't before. Loading takes longer, and there are many freezes and lag spikes where the sim tried to load stuff in again. This is greatly noticeable in the PMDG 737. Selecting the aircraft from the menu (or any aircraft) can cause the sim to fail. And loading is about 2x longer, and has a possibility of crashing at 100%. Once it does load, it takes a minute or two for the screen to load the textures of the aircraft, buildings, and clouds (it should of been doing that while it was loading the flight), and during flight, the sim stutters, freezes, loads the loading screen, and possibly crash many t…

What is causing this after completing a long flight without any issues en route just as I land? First time |I have experienced it. After several minutes into my flight using any of my PMDG planes , I get a fatal error message. The screen turns white and that terminates the flight. I have appcrash view on all three of my drives and all show a blank screen. I've done some flights with smaller planes on short flights and there's no problem.

There's no rush or panic here, I have been away from FSX and haven't yet worked my way back in to tuning and tweaking FSX. Besides, wehn reading this forum about CTDs I was rather interested to see this utility "Appcrashviewer" - question: is the link you give a safe one, because McAfee blocks the exe immediately as "infected" and also as a trojan Anyway, I did the silly thing and turned McAfee off so that I could use appcrashviewer. I have read over the last three years about people loosing their FSX and having to rebuild......I guess it is now my turn after 3 years. Folks, I am a recent convert to DX10. I am using Steve's DX10 fixer and have reviewed and implemented the recommended FSX.cfg and Inspector settings. I am very happy with the way my FSX looks and performs. In most respects it is much better than what I experienced when using DX9. There is one very annoying problem that I have not been able to fix and am at a loss as to how to proceed. About 50% of the time FSX will CTD without warning. This has happened on multiplayer and free flight. These CTD's do not seem to be associated with any particular add-on aircraft or locations. Hi, Over the weekend I've been playing around with AI, and downloaded a large number of World of AI packs. I'd never really flown with AI in the past (always at 0), but thought I'd try as it'd add a bit of extra immersion. I now find that if I fly around either UK2000 EGLL or EGKK with AI enabled (tried various levels from 100 down to 1%), when I exit FSX and check the event viewer, it always registers an Application Error for fsx.exe with faulting module ai_player.dll, which I believe simply put is the module for controlling AI traffic. Hello My computer is I7 - 4970K (4.4GHZ) with GTX 780. I have been struggling suddenly with the system. In fact even the system was struggling with frame rates with substantially average settings on the sliders. Finally I installed FSX Boosters and the frames seems to be better. Wow is me! now that FS9 was working flawlessly after reinstall a few weeks ago and all addons I am getting CTD loading base scenery (KSEA and C172). When loading "free flight" the bar appears to load scenery, textures, and when it starts loading weather, it stops and crashes, or sometimes it make to KSEA and run normally for about 40 seconds before CTD. The only thing I can think of is I added a new font "IRS_TIF" which was to be used with PSS T7. This font was loaded into windows fonts. It appears after loading this font the CTD's started. The past half dozen or so times I have tried to fly FS9 (and on and off prior to that), my flight has been cut short just before or just after take off by a sudden BSOD (well, they are all sudden of course!). I am working in a relatively remote area of the would and keep my sanity (partially, at least) by having my old Dell XPS M1730 laptop here to run FS9, but at this rate I am tempted to find another hobby, till I get back to the UK and my main FS PC anyway. The laptop runs WinXP 64-bit. I suspect that all the 3rd. party FS9 software I have is a bit too much for the machine to cope with, but even so ... Hello, I have a pretty decent computer and a great graphics card gtx 980. I'm running FSX (nonSE) as well as ASN. All with updated service packs. When I load ASN, it patiently awaits for me to start FSX. I start FSX, I can hear FSX, and ASN stated FSX is connected BUT I cannot see FSX on the monitor. What I do see is FSX in the Task Bar. I click on the FSX icon in the Task Bar but it does not open FSX to the monitor. Running Window 8.1. Appreciate any help. Thank you.

FSX crashed about 20-30 minutes into an IAD-EWR flight on the default CRJ-700, days after I had done the outbound EWR-DCA with no problems. Running in compatibility mode for Vista SP2. Hello everyone, I have been having this problem for a while now. When I try to fly the Aerosoft Airbus at UK2000 Heathrow, the sim will freeze sometime between startup and takeoff. I can't even takeoff! Everything will be working fine until suddenly, the sim freezes but the sound keeps going. I have rebuilt the cfg many times and applied only an affinitymask 84, highmemfix, and forcewindowedvsync=1. Everything else works fine. I think these are a growing problem that deserve a forum of their own; not CTDs, but the dreaded fatal freeze where the sound continues to loop but the sim quits responding. What's even worse is that these are not traced in the event log, so the problem requires more guesswork. This happens occasionally in FS2004 due to a number of different triggers, such as switching windows or using the menus too much, however the Project Airbus A320 is one aircraft that is unusable as it triggers a fatal freeze about 5 minutes into a flight. I hope anyone could maybe shed some light on my P3d crashes with V2.5+Hotfixes. I am getting these at random, about two in a 2-3 hour flight. i just downloaded the fscuip and installed it. I did not register the product. Will it still help crash to desktops? I am currently experiencing ctd with blue sky scenery and a LOD of 6.5. Went from klax to klas with the Pmdg ngx and right before I hit the last 20 miles from klas I got a ctd. Thanks
