Emptying scenery catch On exit will that erase The current config in seeing the traffic that I see Or I will guess it rebuilds and rebuilds and enough collected files give FSX CTDS . Hi Guys, I am running essentially a vanilla FSX Deluxe Edition installed from DVD's with REX Essentials Plus w/OD, UT2, AccuFeel V2, several payware planes from Carenado/Alabeo/RealAir, and Orbx FTX Global and Vector for scenery. My config file has only the AffinityMask, HIGHMEMFIX=1, WideViewAspect=True, ForceFullScreenVsync=1 tweaks. Been running error free like this for months. I have a couple of weeks ago purchased the Orbx FTX PNW Region as a new addon to my existing FTX Global Base and FTX Global Vector. Just installed P3D and some addons, and for some reason as i load a flight i just get a CTD with no error at all.

I had Plan-g open with FSX operating in the background. Then the computer crashed and I got a BLACK SCREEN. When I rebooted I found that my FSX folder had disappeared. In the Windows 7 PROGRAMS AND FEATURES, FSX was NOT LISTED. The only FSX files remaining were where the flight plans are located, and the file where the FSX.cfg file is located. Questions: 1. I assume there is no way to recover the FSX files. Is this correct? ( I tried a reset to an earlier date with no success). 2. Since FSX was not properly uninstalled, will I have a problem reinstalling FSX? (I have the FSX Gold edition) 3. I deleted Plan-G. What could have caused the computer…

Hello everybody, I'm posting to get a piece of advise about this error : C++ Runtime Error R6025: Pure Virtual Function Call . So, when I came home after my holidays, I wanted to do a flight with the 777 but "Oh Surprise" SP1 was out, I started download it and install it. And then, I wanted to start a flight. But after 10minutes of flying I had this error. I said to myself okay, don't panic, do it with another aircraft, I tried the 747. Same thing, after 15-20 minutes, Runtime error... The FSX program ran for a while while going through the install and setting up and then CTD. The only addons I have is these two (Fs2crew and pmdg737ngx). I have been flying the pmdg and not having any problems in the tutorials except crashing into the ground, but will get it down eventually. My question is this FS2Crew overloading my machine and making it CTD? I do appreciate any help. Thanks Lewis Block

I installed Tracknoir and it didn't work so I deleted it using Advance System Care Pro with a deep un-install. I lost my FSX icon in the task bar in the process. I searched my files to find something that might work , but couldn't . I ran a system restore six times each time with Windows Firewall, Advance System Care and Nod 32 disabled using different restore points each time , but they all failed. Any other ideas ? Hey guys So I'm getting an CTD everytime i attempt to load a flight in FSX Steam. I tested it before i loaded some of my addons on before hand and it ran fine at full setiings. and now when i Press FLY NOW! it just opens the loading screen with the I on it and then crashes shortly thereafter. Ive gotten the API.DLL and the TERRAIN.DLL. Also have gotten just unknown. I have cosnulted the AVSIM CTD guide several times and have all my settings to minimal. I have disabled all my add on scenery and am attempting to load the Trike at a default airfield. I have tried re install twice and nothing seems to be working. Hello all; Since the new year, I've been plagued with this crash. It causes FSX to shut down. I fly the complex airliners and usually before take off (after pre flight) I'll hear the CPU fan spool down and I'll know the crash has occurred. My system is i3770k (OC to 4.5) with 8GB of RAM. Video card is GTX780ti (ASUS) with driver 347.88. I'm using Win 7 64 Pro. I use PMDG planes and I have the DX10 fixer. FSX is sp2. I have never had any problem with FSNav before, but I am running FS9 on a Dell M1730 laptop (for use while I am working abroad - my main FS rig is back home), Win XP x64, and am getting BSODs (from time to time) when I activate it with the F9 key. Much of the time FSNav opens fine, but on other occasions, I can tell something is amiss: the sim stutters as soon as I open the FSNav map, and there are clicking noises through the speakers. If I close FSNav, all is OK. If I leave it open, the laptop invariably crashes to a blue screen. Today, pressing F9 to start FSNav immediately produced a BSOD: "IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal". it looks like the new FSUIPC 4.939 version g3d.dll fix for fsx-se is working quite well! i had a 100% repro test case for causing a g3d.dll crash, and after three attempts with the new version of fsuipc i can no longer repro it. i hereby nominate pete dowson to king of fsx!!! cheers -andy crosby

I am using the Playsims/Horizon VFR photo scenery for Scotland with UK2000 airports for Edinburgh & Glasgow. When adding OpenVFR autogen or my own generated autogen using scenproc, I get a fatal FSX crash. If I turn off autogen, and just leave the airports and photo scenery then I don't get a crash at all. Any thoughts as to what might be causing this problem? Thanks, Stuart

Anyone else suffering from these in FSXSE? I've had quite a few of the g3d related ones and thought they were due to FSUIPC not including the g3d fix, but Pete Dowson said that the crash signature in FSXSE in unrelated to the one he fixed in FSXMS. I recently tried to download and install MCE (free trial) with no success. After downloading and installing and voice recognition training. I attempted to run FSX and would get a Windows 7 error " not enough folders unable to run MCE". I uninstalled MCE via Control "Panel Uninstall Programs" and a system restore to a point before I installed MCE. I then run 4 test flights in the PDMG 737-800ngx. 3 of the 4 test flights CTD. The screen would freeze right before TOC but the sound would still continue to run. How can I fix this? Today, while working on a customer's machine I encountered one of the dreaded R6025 error messages upon closing the program. Was it P3D, you ask? No. It was Quickbooks. What? The purpose of this thread is to establish that R6025 error messages are independent of P3D itself. If you read the error message, you will see that it actually cites MS Visual C++ Runtime Library as the source. So does this mean there's nothing in P3D causing these errors? Not necessarily. Hello to all. I have been fooling around lately with updating my WOAI flight plans to make them more current. I have been using AI Flight Planner 3.1 and using flight plans from Alpha India Group. I managed to get one flight plan converted to FS9 format and all was well. The second flight plan has been causing the Fatal Error CTD and I can't figure out why. The Fatal error always occurs when I try and switch views. If I don't touch anything, it will not crash? Thru elimination I know it's the flight plan (or substitute AI) that's casing the problem because I can go back to the WOAI flight plan and all is fine. Hi all, I really need your help with this fsuipc problem.... i've been using it for almost a year without any problems, till now. i'm able to load up any flight with any aircraft on any location BUT when i press the fly now button it crashes on CTD after loading the flight....
