Hi all I'm a long time FSX user but after switching to Win10 I decided I may as well upgrade to FSX:SE however I am having real issues with the damn thing freezing all the time and me losing my flight! I use VATSIM and as such I have made sure SimConnect is installed by going into the modules folder and running the program in there. I've updated FSUIPC and also applied the UIAutomationcore.dll patch. I am completely lost now as to what could be causing it :/ Is there anything specific I may be missing? Posting out of frustration as have been trying to get FSX working correctly for a long time. Ok so after getting a new pc and installing Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit fresh then firstly installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 followed by remaining updates. Next I installed FSX from DVD and initially it got stuck at "removing applications for about 5 minutes" then continued the install. I then installed FSX Acceleration the same way and that got stuck on updating component registration then continued then install. Hi all, I am trying to install FSX on Windows 10, but I get an error message during the initial installation while 'removing applications'. The error message I get is "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)." Followed by: "Error:-1603 Fatal error during installation. Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information." I have recently started to encounter FSX crashes. After several minutes of preparing my PMDG 737NGX on the ground at KPHX (FlightBeam), my computer display will go black, and the computer system crashes. My only recovery is to physically reboot my system. Since I'm just learning the 737, it's a disappointing loss of time preparing all the intricate details of flight with this aircraft. Hi I Upgraded from windows 8 to windows 8.1 a year ago and have since then been unable to fly my PMDG 747-400X and MD-11X. Have written on her without any success in solving the problem. FSX stars fine only that I have to start it as administrator and then I get two error messages regarding PMDG DLL files. I have experienced 3 error types frequemntly interupting my simming experience. Those are listed below. I use Steves DX10 fixer (v2.9) and ORBX Global/Vector/OpenLC (Canada/Europe/Alaska) I have AI on at around 49%, and i tend tro use the PMDG 737 & 777 most in my flights. Hello, I have installed fsx on my new laptop along with fspassengers and the pmdg 737 ngx and fsx keeps crashing. Info Windows 8 Home 64bit 8gb Ram Intel i5 Proccessor FSX Acceleration ----------------------------- I had a look at event viewer and I have confirmed the g2d.dll is popping up every time I have this crash :(. Every other computer I have runs Windows 8 and runs perfectly! One thing to mention, my laptop does not a cd drive so I did install it from a HDD. I dont know what to do. My fsx is crashing every time that i install a new addon, and always is because API.DLL I'm running FSX + SP2 on DX10 mode (DX10 Scenery Fixer). I dont have my pc overclocked. Might be a issue with FSUIPC? What i can do?

For some reason as of yesterday after about 10-20 minutes of flying the sim stops and just reverts to my PC welcome page. This is not a Vas issue and there is no fatal error shown either-the sim just cuts out totally. I have Active Sky Next running and the usual Orbyx products i.e FTX Global and Open LC Europe and FTX England but I have at least 1.2 g of Vas Left when it cuts out. Earlier I checked the Task Manager and it stated that the monitor was not responding. I downloaded the latest Nvidia driver yesterday. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated. Michael

Hello! I've been pulling my hair for the past week, trying to get my FSX up and running. The problem I have is whenever I'm trying to click "fly now" on free flight, FSX crashes with the following message "FSX has stopped working". I tried re-installing it a couple of times, only to get the same message. So I gave it up and turned to FSX: Steam Edition. Same problem there. Prior to the release of WIN 10, I was running WIN 7 (no issues). FSX with all the addons (SteveFX, PMDG, ORBX, ACTIVE Sky, MYTraffic, etc) all ran very smoothly. Since the installation I've run FSX (running very slow - doing the recheck of the "trusted software" which was ok for the 1st time and finally some 30 minutes later finished loading the program. Hi Would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction, Having a number of problems with FSX hanging for around 20 mins or so and at some points Crashing to desk top. The last was yesterday 2hrs in to a flight although I'm unable to recall the exact error message it did contain SIM_OBJECTS. Hey mates, I recently bought GSX to use it within P3D 2.5 latest version. But P3D crashes on start up without a special warning/notice/hint. Just the message cames up if I like to send the report and like to restart P3D. Before the installation of GSX it worked fine. Anyone has an idea? EDIT: I just removed GSX but P3D still crashes on start up. Only installed some payware sceneries and no other tools.
