Hi everybody. I recently had to reinstall FSX due to some bugs and little things. Up until I had to reinstall my FSX everything ran fine with no problems on my Windows 8.1 system. Now after reinstalling FSX again I have been having some serious problems with crashes.Whenever I land any aircraft at any airport (addon scenery or not) my sim crashes to the desktop. The problem also sometimes occurs on takeoff. Any help would be much appreciated, Robbie. Please Note: I am using FSX Gold Edition UIAutomationCore.dll v6.0.5840.16386 is in my FSX root. I have experienced this in Default, A2A and PMDG aircraft at airports with and without addon scenery.

Hi, Looking for a bit of help with a crash I keep getting when the splash is displayed when I start P3D v3. The setup worked just fine, then a week later I can no longer start the sim due to this error. To my knowledge there is not much change on the machine, only installed ASP.NET 6. Since I run Win10 it might have automatically installed some stuff, but nothing I'm aware of. I am running FSX (Gold) on a dedicated HDD as administrator with 677GB unused. I have quite a bunch of addons built up over the years and I should thin them out I know. W7x64 is on a dedicated partition on another HDD with 400GB unused. i7 3.5 GHz, 8GB DDR, GTX770 4GB and set up using the latest version of NvidiaInspector. The simulation was running smoothly until yesterday. After I updated Flightsim Commander from 9.5 to 9.6 I got this problem.I have uninstalled it completely from the PC including all registry entries. I ran the Flight1 Registry tool after. Hi all. I just installed P3Dv3 a few days ago and started to fly. Things are okay in general except I got my first CTD today and maybe someone here can help avoid the same CTD. Aircraft: PMDG NGX Airport: Aerosoft Rome Weather: ActiveSky NEXT As I was approaching the airport, I started to get periodical break in the sound maybe every minute or two. FS stutters with the break in sound (only a second or even less). After 5 or so minutes of this, my P3D CTD with a warning window. (Not BSOD). After checking the error log, it said that the it shut down Prepare3d.exe with the fault of sound.dll. Any idea as to how to fix this? BTW, I have not had th…

So after a few weeks of continued mid flight freezing I started to freack out. I tried everything there is online to try, reinstalled FSX, reinstalled Windows. Ended up formatting my hard drive and starting fresh. But the mid flight freezeing continued and I can only blame one thing: Active Sky Next. I tried flying with it and sometimes it freezes (specially on long flights) and sometimes it doesnt, but without it FSX has never freezed. I have FSX + Acceleration, latest FSUIPC (not registered), W7 Ultimate 64 bits and Active Sky Next (B5226, latest hot fix available). Any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems saving a scenario in v3 ? If I'm on the Scenario screen and changing to a different AC , scenery , time of day etc and hit the Save button I immediately get kicked to the desktop . This also happens if I hit the ; key . I'm running Win10 64bit , GTX 770 4gb(latest drivers) . What I've tried : reduced OC 4.2 to 4.0 as suggested somewhere here at AvSim . Hey everyone, Recently I've run into a problem where FSX gives me the "fatal error" message followed by a CTD. It appears to only be happening during long flights (6+ hours). My problem is that I can't trace the cause of the issue given that I haven't done long flights in a very long time, and have made a couple changes to my computer since then, so I have no clue as to what (if any of those changes) may be causing the problem. Hello, after installing my new graphics card I am no longer able to start p3d and get a fatal error. I used guru3d driver uninstaller to remove old drivers before Installing the newest drivers for the 980. After the installation completed, I started p3d and got the fatal error. I removed prepar3d.cfg to let it rebuild but did not fix the issue.. I then completely removed all the files from the appdata/roaming/lockheedmartin/prepar3d v3 folder as well as everything from appdata/roaming/LockheedMartin/prepar3d v3/shaders folder. I have installed P3Dv3 in every which way I can but it still keeps crashing after about 5 minutes no matter what aircraft or airfield I depart from I have an i5 3750k on a Gygabite 77dh board. an Egva 660 ti sc and 14 gb of ram. I have photoscenery of the uk loaded but one volume and i am using the JF tornado gr1 v3. I have also tried with default aircraft on default scenery with the default flight I never had this with 2.5 and its starting to annoy me somewhat. Hey guys, I am really stumped here. I think I may have some sort of memory leak in P3D v3 and I can't seem to find what it is. I have search forums and have found other people having some issues, but no really solutions. The only solution I can find for memory not releasing is HT on, but I am running an i5 4670K so HT isn't even an option. As you can see below I run rather modest settings compared to some others who have had no memory issues with P3D v3. I attached my cfg file as well as settings. I have done nothing to the game, so I don't know why it would suddenly give me the OOM then crash on the menu screen. I've almost decided just to give up on FSX all together unless someone can help me figure out why FSX-SE won't run on a barely year old machine with a GTX 980 and a 5820K (intel). I could run the same setup on my old PC, I even had many more add on aircraft on my old PC than I do now, so I don't know what the problem is. I can play Elite Dangerous all day long with no stutter or hangups.

It only happens in payware aircraft and also it doesn't do it in nice weather, only when its rainy/stormy.
