Hello everybody I’m having trouble while starting p3d. Everytime I try to start it, the application crash after a few seconds without any error messages. The only thing I can see is the “Generating scenery file index” message appearing and disappearing very quickly before the crash. Does anybody can help me? Best wishes, Gabriele P. Today I was faced with a strange error in FSX:SE - with no CTD though. After starting the program, a windows pops up showing the error: Creative_Audio_Engine_cleanup_001 I close the window and I can start the flight. I made a search on this error but could not find a solid solution. Does anyone has already seen this error? Thanks

I was flying from Chicago to Washington Dulles in the PMDG 777-300ER, ASN, ProATC-X, GEX, and UTX USA V2.0 loaded. About halfway, around Cleveland, OH, FSX froze while in wingview. The weather was sort of heavy with a complete overcast below me. I also had FSDT Chicago, FlightBeam KIAD, and MSE V2 Baltimore/Washington HiRes Photoscenery loaded. Hello, I recently got a computer (about a month ago) and everything was working fine. Then a week later I loaded the PMDG 737 NGX and FSX started to give me mid flight crashes. The screen becomes unresponsive then the blue loading circle comes up. A couple seconds after that it closes and says FSX fatal error, windows looking for solution. I have tried a lot of things but none have seemed to work. Next time I get the crash I will try to get the error code. If there are any question dont be afraid to ask. Thanks, Xplosion

Hi All, I am running FSX on windows 7-64bit with computer specs i7-2600 3.40ghz 12GB with a an Invidia 2GB graphics card. I have Aerosoft airbus and 6 Aerosoft airport sceneries and Active Sky Next. My CFG file has only been tweeked with HIGHMEMFIX=1. I have been experiencing around 3 to 4 CTD'S during the flight. The issue is that there aren't any errors at all. I have checked app-crash and my event viewer but with no error results. Any help would be very much appreciated thankyou Regards Paul777

Hello everyone, I have just done an fsx reinstall from an old one which kept crashing. I thought that by installing to the C drive, I could fix these problems, but to no avail. Every time I load up the aerosoft airbus x at an airport, everything works fine until all of a sudden, the entire game would freeze. No "not responding" boxes, app crash view does not produce any errors, and neither does windows error reporter. The game just freezes, it doesn't even cloud over with white like some others do. At most times, the CPU will max out to 100% on all cores. It only happens with the aerosoft airbus at European airports. I use some Aerosoft airports and UK2000 EGL…

There have been many many posts at various forums of people with FSX crashing to desktop (CTD) when a saved flight is used. The usual fix is just to delete the "corrupted" saved flight and create a new one. If that stops FSX CTDing then that would be proof that the saved flight somehow got corrupted. Why that flight got corrupted is usually unknown. But I had quite an interesting CTD experience myself yesterday. The CTD was a bad one too because it reset my FSX.cfg (all settings gone) and reset the FSX controller interface (joystick setup) to default. These two error messages did not crash my fsx but i couldn't access my menu without getting two error messages.. First message - An unsupported operation was attempted Second message after click OK - An invalid argument was encountered Has anyone got any clue what this is pointing too?

Hey, Just got this ctd today after installing 2 carenado aircraft. Weird thing is that the error said something about an ezdok file. Tried uninstalling the aircraft, didn't work. Then i tried uninstalling ezdok, still didn't work. Any idea what can be causing this? Thanks. Kim.

I was getting one of the common AppCrash reports after closing FSX and the report stated the faulting module was StackHash_2fde. The suffix, 2fde, really means nothing as there are several different types of StackHash crashes. I looked all over Google and Bing using the keyword 'StackHash' and found no solutions. Most people ended up reinstalling Windows or the Application and that fixed it for some (not all). I was flying the Flight 1 King Air from Jamaica to Key West. I got the crash about 15 miles out from the island into the ocean. This is what it said Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library --------------------------- Runtime Error! R6025 - pure virtual function call Then the sim crashed and I got an APPcrash with the terrain.dll causing the fault supposedly. I only have 8 GIGS of RAM would adding another 8 gig stick reduce these crashes? Thanks!

I was flying a PMDG 738, clear weather. after i reached cruising altitude, vnav shut off (it went to level change. I reset Vnav, it switched to level change again. It then CTD, and i got a message that SmartAssembly required. Any ideas? Robert Marton

I have been having some very strange performance issues ever since installing global vector, and I don't know if me uninstalling my UTX sceneries have any connection. I got a lot of sudden BEX resulted crashes, but also my VAS run out very very fast, today I got an OOM before even getting into the main FSX menu?! I have never experience FSX so unstable before! Do you have any theories?

Hey guys. I've been scouting the web for days now, nothing. This may seem like a stupid question but then again, I'm always told that there are no such things as stupid questions, only stupid answers. Anyway, this question is directed at those learned software engineers out there - is it possible to write a "plugin" that can encourage a "programme" to release VAS? We have so many fantastic "add ons" that run fluently alongside or inject into the sim and manage themselves into making the sim behave in a way that we dictate EZDok, GSX, ASN and of course FSUIPC amongst others, all of which were never part of the original ACES code. Hey guys, have a huge problem with my FSX, I cannot explain why! In den last year everything was good, tough I got just Scenery.CFG File error, nonetheless everything worked. Then I installed ORBX Global and SImStarter, it worked my last flight was on 31/12/14. I intended to start a fly yesterday, but wasn't able to do so. Got this "FSX Process not found handle=0" error, I thought it's due to EZDOK, I deinstalled it, but now my FSX isn't starting any more. I tried to recover my SceneryCFG, no change. When I start FSX.exe, I just get three Scenery.CFG Errors, and then FSX closes with out any message. I think something is really corrupt. Can you please help …
