Been flying with FSX for a long time with many addons with no problem. After downloading KDEN today from Flightbeam FSX will not open but I immediately get the windows fatal error message. Have restarted many times and even uninstalled KDEN with the same result. Wonder if the download was corrupt perhaps? Help! JOHN ALMOND AUSTIN, TX

Is there anything else besides KB2670838 that would causes this crash? Ive been getting it randomly now and I don't have this update installed. Using dx10 mode with sweetfx and shade in fsx.

I was on fsx for about 4 hours i exited fsx in window mode shut it down and restarted fsx 20 mins later but i got this crash after a few seconds of running fsx. any ideas why on the startup? Hi Jim, In recent weeks I've started getting BSODs when running FSX. They're completely random which doesn't help identify the cause. This is what I've done... 1) Run sfc /scannow. Hi there, I have fixed this error a year or so ago, and my FSX has been stable since. However, after I installed SkyHighSim's Belgrade, and Mega Airport Brussels X tonight, I have crashed twice with the BEX error; on ground in Belgrade (after which I deinstalled LYBE), and in the air 30 minutes into the flight to Brussels from Berlin Schonefeld. I have fixed this issue before by setting "System Managed Size" in Memory Settings under Advanced System Settings in Windows 7, but it seems that this fix wasn't definate. Although I have made sure Active Sky Next (ASN) was given proper rights/ownership, I still received the following StackHash error message. If I disabled ASN and used the fsx real weather program, no problems whatsoever. I am looking for a solution. This may be a firewall access violation or there is a problem with the ASN server. Quick run down i clocked my build 3 weeks ago at 40ghz V1.12 from nicks guide. I decided today to run the OCCT stress software with FSX plus the 737 NGX i let it cruize and ran the test - OCCT linpack 1st (tests temp) with FSX for a few hours and no crashes from FSX and 5 hours on the CPU OCCT but 3 hours into that i got an API.DLL ctd, never had that before and all my settings ain't 2048 or any other crazy settings from REX or in FSX. So has to be the test thats doing something to it? Also can i add i run EZDOK and that got an error Message too Floating point overflow User32.dll

It is little strange, but does the FS GLOBAL mesh (Which is nearly 40GB) can cause OOM CTD, I am asking because I am never ever able to complete any flight in any condition, FSGRW+EFB+PROATCX+PFPX on the client. Hi fellow simmers, Well the dreaded Nvd crash keeps rearing its ugly head....and I have tried everything checked Reg uninstall drivers cleanly, now removed my sound card to see if it is that...but cannot stop the bug.... So very annoying looked all over the web for a definitive answer...not even MS has one... So just did a clean install of fsx to a new pc on a seperate local disk partition but when i look in the appdata i find the fsx,cfg but cant find the exe.xml. I have fsuipc and fscopilot but because i dont have exe.xml i cant open fscopilot in the fsx menu bar .... So my Question is this how do i rebuild a EXE,XML

I have just built a brand new $2000 pc and my CTDs got worse for some reason. I 'm getting a CTDs every 5 minutes or so. This is so frustrating... Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hello gurus, I have a very knotty problem. But first some background, I installed FSX and Acceleration on a separate SSD drive in April along with a whole host of add-ons and it was running acceptably on my i7-2700 @ 3.5 Ghz machine with 8 GB of ram and Windows 7 64bit Pro. But a few days ago when I changed two things in parallel it all went wrong, I know it was stupid but I am where I am. Hello guys So last night I bought and install FS2Crew 777. I decided to do a KEWR - EGLL flight to test it out. Also, at the time, it was my first flight trying PMDG SP1c. So I start using FS2Crew, and for whatever reason, I can't get anywhere. I'm at the gate setting things up, and out comes the "Not responding" message. I have tried to do multiple flights, but I get the same result. I turned off the real -time scanning on my anti-virus. I delete my FSX.CFG file. For the record, I was able to do a PMDG 737 with FS2Crew out of KEWR no problem. VAS seem to be no issue. I'm pushing my system, but not to the 4GB limit.
