Hello, Lately i've been getting this .NET Framework error everytime i try to do a flight, 0xC000014B. Hello, I am in the process of converting my FSX to DX10. All goes well, except that in mid-flight (up to now in four consecutive flights) the sim freezes (with the turning 'wait' symbol), and has to be closed with taskmanager. The freeze/crash is according to the Appcrash viewer caused by a Windows module called d3d11.dll. I have tried to replace this module with one I downloaded, but Windows (7, 64 bit) does not allow me to do that. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Please find the crashviewer report below. Hi Guys i thought i would share this info as my system is running pretty amazing with not one OOM crash in last nights testing and with scenery set quite high I have FTX AU regions installed all 4 of them including FTX Airports YBBN,YMML,YSCB,YBCS Also running Active Sky Next while on vatsim I have installed Steve DX 10 fixer (Yes i was one of the lucky ones to buy it) and done some tweaks in FSX.CFG folder and also changed settings in Nvidia inspector making sure the anti aliasing is the same in my Nvidia inspector as in the fsx.cfg and Steve dx 10 fixer what it was set too I am running all settings in FSX as FTX Setting recommended and have my scenery on Ex…

This afternoon I uploaded a utility to the AvSim Library which will allow WideFS users to monitor available Virtual Address Space (VAS). The file is named VAS_Monitor.zip and it should be available in the FSX Utility section tomorrow. It also displays the current frame rate. As it requires WideClient and WideServer it will only be useful to those running WideFS across a network. If you're only running a single PC the existing facility in FSUIPC remains available. It was written by Pete Dowson and uploaded with his permission. I hope it helps you avoid OOM problems.

I have been lucky I guess in that I have never had a real issues (only minor) hick ups with FSX until now, I have searched for help and understanding with this although I find some of the answers difficult to follow. I have reinstalled .NET Framework (4.5...) I have uninstalled Rex4DT, I have disabled UT2, ASN, I have run in Windows mode (opposed to full screen). I tried unsuccessfully to install .Net 2.1 & 2.2 based on one potential fix that people with far greater knowledge than I suggested as potential cause. Hi there, have continued during an OOM problem. I know that there are many causes for this. Despite the transition to DX10 with Steve's Fixer I can not solve my problem. Now that I have read so many Treads and still tried more settings I now believe in a problem of FSX Acceleration file. Is there a safe way to check this? In Resours monitor I have read the error already at 2.9 GB memoryspace. Best regards, Bernd

I installed FSX Gold on my Windows 8.1 PC. I can only run the game in DirectX 10 preview mode or else the game has a fatal error either immediately or soon after a flight is initiated. As well as bugs, a lot of addons have compatibilty issues with DirectX 10 mode, so I would like to know is there a way I can run FSX in DirectX 9 mode. The only addons I have installed are CS 727, CS 130 and Mega Airport Dublin (also Editvoicepack and the bug fixes for DX10). I have an AMD R9 270 graphics card. Thanks in advance.

Hello, Having read through some fourm history here about the BEX CTD I was wondering if there's been any new ideas on how to fix it. This error seems to be a slippery one. But lucky for me it only happens when I close FSX and not during a flight so far anyway. And I'm kind of nervous about renaming my fsx.cfg file or deleting any Facilities,Scenery,Shader folders. I have been trying to get my system to run with DX10 Preview selected. If preview is selected I can never get into the aircraft as it crashes on the initial screen or as it is going through loading to start the sim. I have tried it with a virgin config. Recently, I re-installed FSX as I think every now and then FSX need's a good re-install! But I have found that I get a lot of CTD with FSX when I wan't to change an aircraft or change something like settings. Also when I wan't to change airports ext... I have never really came across this issue with FSX before! When FSX done it's CTD, it's problem (I think) seemed to be something called "BEX" . I seen that there was a "fix" video for it on YouTube for FSX, but that didn't do any thing to be honest.... Any suggestions? Cheers, E.M.

Hi ppl. I'm really tired of FSX and it's hysterical tendency to CTD. History: I'm a quite recent FSX user. I bought a new rig and since I was really attracted by FSX new features such as the NGX, vPilot, etc, I switched from FS9, that I had been using for about 7 years. FS9 had been working quite well, I once let it running for 50hrs, with more than 5 flights made with no issues at all.
