Hi! I have abig problem. In a random momento when im flying fsx close unexpectly with out any warning or error, the only close without previous warning or freeze. The event viewer of windows dont show any problem, and i have uiautomationcore.dll on my fsx folder, i think that i have the wrong version of this file so 10 minutes ago a replace this file for a correct version but im noy tried fly yet to see the results. Any recommendation to solve this problem, because its really extrange that the sim close without error messages. Thanks for your help!!!

I've recently repainted an Extra 300 aircraft into RAF Colours on FSX, but when I click on the plane to load it, FSX crashes, any idea why it does this? Every other aircraft works fine, renamed the repaint, done all that I need too, just doesn't seem to work! It also happens if I click details when selecting the aircraft. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

FSX & Acceleration have been running smoothly on my Windows 7 System for over two years when suddenly in March FSX quit opening. I have made no recent changes to FSX, so I suspect it may have something to do with a Windows automatic update. I have done a complete uninstall and reinstalled to a new directory. FSX gets through the installation but hangs on the initial startup at the splash screen. I can hear music but the menu never loads. It does get through the initial building scenery database message before it hangs. Acceleration does not load at all. The installer from the CD hangs. I have not seen this in the CTD guide. I have the crashes again :( So I downloaded the "uiautomationcore.dll" again, and hope for the best. Will let you know the results. I just wonder what add on might have installed another version of "uiautomationcore.dll" over the fixed one I had installed ages ago?!? Hi guys! That's ridiculous. My FSX is always freezing on longhaul flights after 7 to 8 hours inflight. I can 100% reproduce that. Normally I'm not doing anything on my PC when the freezing occurs. It's not an OOM problem, the VAS is at ~3,5 GB on each flight. Here's my setup: PMDG 777, FTX Global, Active Sky Next, FS Real Time, Pro-ATC/X, Ezdok, kACARS (flight tracking for my VA). FSX is running in DX10 + Steve's DX10-Fixer. My specs: Windows 7 64bit, GTX770, i5 4670k @4,4GHz, 8GB RAM. I've had a lot of trouble over the last week with various ctd's. I've had gdiplus.dll, g2d.dll, one MVS80.dll and a few more (they may not be typed accurately because i'm not at my compluter atm they are just as close as I can remember). I have uninstalled all of my addons one by one and no difference. I've repaired dll's, no difference. I've formatted and then completely reinstalled Windows 7, no differnce. I have uninstalled my nvidia gforce 760's drivers and reinstalled them, no diffenrence. I bought an £85 ssd a few weeks ago purely for this to make it run smoother. I figured it out!! After a full day of troubleshooting, I concluded that it has something to do with the latest version service pack 1C. I had an older version of PMDG 737 NGX on another machine that worked flawlessly, and when I loaded it on my new computer (homebuilt Intel i5 3.4Ghz, 8GB ram, AMD R9 270X,128GB SSD, Windows 8.1) I never saw any issues again. If you are having issues, try to find the base version 12.0.0. Only downside to the base version is your frame rate will go down a little bit, but hey, it's better that letting it crash your session. Tested wih REX Essentials + OD, and ORBX.

Good morn! I've tried several methods to get FSX running, but to no avail. When I open FSX, UT loads (with it's music), and then the FSX screen appears and it just spins. The Task manager says its not reponding. I tried to let it rebuild the config file, but no luck. Any help is appreciated! W7, i860 Vince

Hi Simmers, before i pick up my PC and choose a window for its departure perhaps you guys can offer some much needed advice, running FSX, both SP's. only fly PMDG ( 737/747), pPC is AMD Phenom 955 Quad, 4GB Ram, Nvidia 9800gtx Card. Hello, I recently installed a 1t hard drive soley for fsx. I was in the process of installing orbx ireland when it finished I got a FTX central error about a missing Texture file , so I tried to reinstall the scenery. I still got the error so I went to look at the drive. There is one directory called Microsoft games. which is 5.25 GB. it contains files called effects, flights, orbx, scenery, sound, texture, weather. When I look at properties of the drive it says I have used 394 gb. I look to uninstall and all the programs are still listed, but the shortcuts are all dead. I have 4 FSDT airports that now comprise of $120 worth of jetways only, no buildings. Couatl it seems is under attack by another program or my Anti virus . I have posted over at FSDT forums but I'm told the problem is my end , not theirs. I do find it ridiculous that I should lose ALL of my airports because of one weak link and it is weak you only need to google "couatl problems" to see many others in the same predicament Anyhow, I was told to disable my anti virus and if I have no luck I should disable all of my processes one by one on the task manager while testing FSX to find the offending program . Recently purchased KDFW, and have had severe OOM issues just trying to get off the ground, and was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues. I'm not asking about the typical "adjust your sliders," etc., suggestions - I'm aware of them, but I also have a number of other highly detailed add-on airports, and this is the only one where I've had this issue, (and I have tried some adjustments with no success), so I'm trying to identify first if anyone else has experienced issues specific to this airport. Just recently I was flying and called up my kneeboard...heard a 'ding' and realized FS had froze. I control-alt-delete'd out of the program back to the desktop, and there was a message regarding a fault in the mfc70.dllThinking this may be a Reality RXP gauge issue, I restarted FS and tried bringing up the kneeboard in the default Cessana. I keep getting "out of memory" or my system crashes mostly to my add on scenery airports. Have no idea how to solve it and its pretty fustrating after a 3 or 4 hour flight your system just crashes on approach. Any idea to get around this would be greatly appreciated. Cruising over S. FL with the PMDG T7 last night when I got for the first time ever the dreaded OOM Error... I'm running a LOD of 4.5 with only FSDT KFLL and UTX/GEX (0% vehicle, ship traffic), REX (1024 textures only), UT2 (AI sliders at 40% and 25%) in the area, Autogen set to DENSE and only running 1024, in my max tex load in FSX.cfg. Hello, every time I start FSX and choose an aircraft, or weather theme, or airport etc., when I go to choose the second item, FSX freezes and the hard drive stays lit for about 3 minutes. Then everything returns to normal and I can continue to load FSX. I have FSX on an SSD, though I had the same problem with a SATA drive. I have megascenery on a second drive. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FSX, and made a number of different changes to fsx.cfg but no luck. Thanks for your expertise, eric
