First im sorry for the topic spam in pmdg 737 forum! ;( The site gave me Service error. So i have this bird almost over an year now. I really love to flight it. But as you see on the title i have a problem. I made a flight with FSC from Kathmandu VNKT to BANGKOK VTBS. Im using the payware "aa sceneries bangkok" So this is the second time it happens, well the game crash, now i tell you what happen. So everything is set in fmc, route etc... I take off. Im cruising Then it´s time to approach. The VNAV descending for me. About 70 Miles from airport, i get the message what runway i may land on. The message was ILS 1L. Today, I got three(!) CTD's. In th evenviewer, it says that the module that crashes fsx is "facilities.dll" Everything was perfect before. I installed "vPilot" to connect to Vatsim on Saturday(may 3rd) but if vPilot would be the application to crash fsx, it would have happened before(yesterday, sunday?) Please help me!!

I would welcome any help on this matter. All of a sudden I am unable to launch FSX, after a few seconds the programme encounters an error and crashes :( Coincidentally and prior to this crash I had recently been tinkering around with my network settings, installing simconnect to run Active Sky on a client computer and Radar Contact 4 via registered Fsuipc. Hi people, Im fairly new here. Fsx keeps crashing for me mid flight, about after half an hour. By crashing I mean that it does the whole, "fsx has stopped working" error and since im running PMDG, i cant simply reload a saved flight, GREAT! Im really motivated to fix this so please tell me what specs you need to know and what other information you need to know and ill put it up so i can work this out. System Asus Hero Z87 haswell, I7-4770K, 16 GIG Patriot memory, WD10EZEX drive Can I add an ignorant question to this thread? I have ran a CPU stress test, with CPU-Z and other monitors running, there are no failures. So I don't think I have any hardware issues. Still have the FSX CTD's. My old machine a 1st gen I7, rarely ever had a CTD, I could fly for hours. I generally follow Nick N's FSX setup. With this new hardware I can't fly for 10 minutes???? So after reading these posts, I am no closer to finding out what is going on, I guess I will start over with a complete reinstall testing hardware as I go. Does anyone have any suggestions?

So annoyed....re-installed FSX, got a 500GB H/D and still it freezes. Intel i5, 16GB Ram, GTX 760 GEFORCE Nvidia card. I was flying the PMDG 747-400 and it froze then it was the PMDG 777-200ER. Arghh Flying FSX KORD-KJFK default airports, default weather (thunderstorm) at cruise in NGX; using UT2 and only scenery is FTX Global, and Vector. 1 hour into flight, hit the Q key, screen turns this semi transparent white with message fsx not responding. I had this at other times and it resolved itself in a couple of seconds. Now at 5 minute mark. What causes this, and what's best course of action. BTW using DX10, with Steve's fixer software. Most settings are balanced in fixer software and I applied highmem fix. Brand new high end PC. Rob

I've had fsx with SP1 SP2 and acceleration running on my HP Envy with windows 8 fine for the past few months. There was some crashing at the start but it stopped after I did the UIAutomationcore.dll fix. Since then it was all fine, but then 2 days ago my PC did an annoying automatic update for windows 8. When i tried starting fsx, the start screen came up for about 3 mins then a fatal error message appeared. I've tried over and over again to fix it. I uninstalled addons i added right before this, updated my drivers, repaired acceleration, changed the folder permissions, and repeated the UIAutomationcore.dll fix in case it reset. Out of my past 5 flights, 3 of them have frozen. I checked AppCrashView and it shows the fault names as KERNELBASE.DLL for the first crash, PMDG_737NGX.DLL for the second, and StackHash_091f for the third. Are these random crashes or would something be causing this? I did not change anything on my system, it just started happening. Thanks for the help.

Hello all Back to CTD again! Couldn't find the guide so here goes. FSX crashes frequently once the flight has been selected. It will be in cockpit view and then the error message appears and FSX restarts. I've checked in Event viewer and I can see the following common causes of this crash; c:\Windows\System32\dinput.DLL and SysWOW\ntdll.dll This is getting really frustrating so if anyone can shed some light on this I'd be very grateful. Hi guys - advice/suggestions invited ! My SP2 system has recently started to crash on ending a flight or when exiting FSX (and only at these points - the rest of the time it runs fine). The module most commonly flagged in the Event Log is nvwgf2um.dll, which is puzzling, since (I think) that is a DX10/11 module and I am running DX9. I'm running a GTX580 and driver 306.97, which was installed over a year ago, and has been running fine until this point. The rest of my specs are in my profile. G'day, I've just completed an FSX drive migration from my small SSD to a larger HDD. I followed a guide on how to move all the files across and it seems to have worked. I did not have my Acceleration expansion pack installed, and I installed it after I've moved to my new HDD. Now if I adjust anything in the scenery folder, it does the usual "Building database" dialog, however this time it always stops at 7%, pauses briefly, then a windows dialog appears saying: "failed to read from file". Hi, not sure if this is the correct place for such a post so mods please feel free to move. Recently I purchased the eaglesoft Citation x v2.0 aswell as the CJ1 v2.0. Installed these (using recommendations of switching off windows defender etc) and quite simply they do not work. On the start screen of fsx where you select location and aircraft etc, im am lucky for the system to not crash after the 10 minutes its taken to select the product. Hey guys here is my situation; I've built a new computer with the following specs: gtx 650ti, i7 3770k, z77 motherboard and 10 gb ram. My old pc came with windows 7 already installed so when I built the new computer I installed a windows 7 operating system (64 bit). FSX Gold Edition, Windows 8.1 64 bit When I increase simulation rate to anything over 4 and then return to normal rate the screen then reloads and runs for a little while, but eventually it will crash with a statement that the program has quit working. The only option you have is hit ok and the program closes. If I run simulation rate 2 or 4 this doesn't happen. It has been a problem with my last computer and I now have a new Asus with a Invidia GeForce GT 640, Intel Core i7-4770 CPU, 3.40 GHz, 16 GB Ram and it still happens. Hi Guys, I've started to experience CTD only since I installed OPUS weather engine. I was trying to find a solution in forums but seems like nobody has same issue. Basically I get CTD always at the end of flight. Either when touchdown, taxiing or at gate when shutting down engines. Which airport doesn't matter. Hi, I experience CTD events when using the Saitek switch panel together with the SPAD driver - with some airplanes, mainly from Carenado, but also with others. The crash to desktop occurs after around 5-15 minutes of flying time. The trigger must be SPAD, since I do not see any CTD when I am not using the SPAD driver. I have a decent machine (i7, 4.2 GHz, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia 680 card), no fancy FSX.config tuning, Autogen on normal, water 2x low, TML= 2048. Any ideas for work-around to solve this? Thanks, Thomas

First scenery I have used that has caused a problem. Now I did install a different KBOS scenery from a different developer but I have since deleted that scenery from the scenery library and off of my system because I was hoping to avoid a conflict of having two of the same scenery installed. Now one odd thing is there are two gate A 9 in the sim. One is a medium gate the other is a small gate. I thought maybe having two gates named the same would cause an issue. If that is causing the problem how do I go about getting rid of one of the gates or at least renaming it. Also I will say I did get the scenery to work 1 time.
