Hallo guys. Today i tried to uninstall My traffic 2013 and install ### AI traffic 4.0. After the installation i took notice that the ATC is not working so i downloaded and installed editvoicepack. The ATC never fixed so i removed both programms and reinstalled my traffic. The problem was that the sound of ATC was not working again so i tried to do a repair at fsx! After that fsx never started again with the message "fatal error occured". Hello, I recently upgraded to windows 7 64bit, installed on a new ssd, with fsx also installed to the same ssd. FSX worked fine on windows 7 32bit, but I could not get it to work on 64bit. Without a service pack installed, it will install fine, but it will hang on the startup screen and abruptly close, with no entry in the event viewer. With sp1, and also sp2, it will give the fatal error message and quit, and in eventviewer it says that fsui.dll is causing a problem. I have tried everything: deleting the fsx.cfg, deleting the uiautomationcore.dll from both system32 and syswow64, repairing the install, reinstalling, installing in program files, installling outside of pr…

Hi there! After installing UTX again and bringing back FTX night lighting to it by using a small tool found at the simforums, I enjoyed a flight from EDDL (Aerosoft) to LOWW (v 2.0 from flytampa) in the Aerosoft Airbus Extended. Everything went flawlessly, I had ASN, Aivlasoft EFB, IE 11 and a PDF document opened during the flight (as I do always) After touch down, and while exiting the runway, FSX crashed with the attached error. I'm pulling my hair out here. Can anyone help? I have a fairly mega FSX setup. I use a lot of Orbx products. My problem is odd & is as follows. Say for instance I am flying around say UK, NW USA or Norway then I get no problems. I also get no problems from flying in most other locations too. Anyway, recently I bought the latest version of Orbx vector which really made a difference. I thought I'd try & fly around Bergen as I went there a couple of years ago. This looked excellent. I cloned my HDD with FSX to a new SSD. When I booted from the SSD everything seemed to work fine except FSX. Even P3D worked fine. FSX would put up the splash screen and then say that an error had occurred and stop. The event log didn't help much as no specific module was identified. I followed the recommendations in the CTD Guide and renamed my fsx.cfg. FSX launched and I could run the stock aircraft and a few I had installed. However, planes from Caranado, A2A, etc caused crashes. I have quite a bit of add on software and tweaks in my cfg. So now I've gotta figure out why my cfg won't run. I'm running Windows 8 with an Intel i7 3.4GHz processor, Nvidia GTX650, 12GB ram. I also have PMDG's 737 and 777, practically the only two planes I fly. Here are my issues. I fly long flights, like right now I'm doing OMAA to LAX. I get up to cruising altitude last night around 10, with UTC time to spec. I wake up around 8:30 this morning, and it had ended up freezing for a total of 3 hours. It never stays frozen, but when it freezes it just stops the game with audio on for 10+ minutes. Hello there! I´ve bought a new system last week and since then I´m struggling with multiple crashes on FSX. First I was having BEX crashes, which I isolated to UT2. Now I´m having regular appcrashes without much detail. Can anyone make sense of this and help me? I´m running Windows 8.1, testing with the default trike and the crashes usually happen on the ground after I switch views and change the zoom. Hope I'm in the right place. When I try to load a helicopter with new gauges and am asked to trust the gauge and accept, when loading to an airport the program freezes and I must use the task manager to close. Restarting the FSX helicopter and gauges work fine. Tried same gauges in an airplane no problem. Something with the helicopters trusting the gauge and going straight to an airport snafu. Aside from a repair or reinstall where might I look to see what's missing. I have already looked and rebuilt the fsx.cfg. Hi Guys, I just noticed this problem since yesterdday when i load my fsx, my game starts to stop innermittent and shows "Not Responding". Hello, Lately, I've been seeing a lot of ctd's when I right click or use the top menu. It would say "A fatal error has occured". It's not uiautomationcore.dll because I already fixed that. Hi everyone. Recently, FSX has not been starting up. I only get so far as the splash screen. Just when it is about to start up and show the main menu, it closes. I don't get an error message or anything, it just simply stops loading and shuts down. I noticed this after I re-installed FS9 onto my computer. I have tried deleting/renaming my fsx.cfg and logbook files, but nothing has worked so far. Could someone help? Thanks.

If you crash or freeze along the East Coast in FS9 download the CFF Explorer and change it to use 8 gigs instead of 2 for 64 bit systems. There is a great article on here with steps on how to do it. Also if you run the KIAD scenery from Blueprint along with the KBWI scenery there is a conflict between the two. I unchecked my BWI in scenery settings. So when I go back to IAD I will see if that was the problem. FS9 wont run good on a 64 bit machine sine it was made for 32 bit and 2 gig of memory.

I tried to get on FSX this evening and encountered a big problem. It has been running great, but suddenly I get a "Play Buffer Failed" message. This showed up at start-up. I loked in the problem description and saw "dsd_fsx_xml_sound gau. " The error code was c0000005. I searched the FSX Forum and found some references, but no real solutions. I've done nothing new to FSX that I can remember. I'm hoping I won't have to re-install, but it doesn't look real hopeful. Any help is appreciated.
