Crash To Desktop (CTD) Forum

I have had several crashes of my normally very stable P3D 3.4 over the past several months , and always within 10-20 miles of EBCI, It always is a G3D.dll I use MY Traffic 6 with Military disabled. Never have this crash anywhere else I fly which is all over t he US and Europe, I have no add on scenery for that area. Any ideas? Hello- after restarting my sim after registering KDFW for P3Dv4.3, when it asks me to activate, it ctds and doesn't activate. Nothing I can do about it. Any help is appreciated.

I'm quite angry at the moment! This morning I experienced a CTD while I was away from the computer which happened 2 hours before arrival into Sydney from a 14 HOUR FLIGHT FROM SFO! (running p3d) this word not allowed me off because this seems to be out of my control! I have all the hardware I need and p3d running on a separate SSD drive due to the amount fo crashing on the original drive. I was about 100 miles off the coast of Italy, ready to start my decent after a long flight from JFK... When Window's blue hula-hoop of death appears, then FSX crashes!!!! :mad: I can't explain my rage especially after the Italy incident. I just want to throw my computer out the window and jump up and down on it. As I am writing this I am doing a flight... I hear the sound stop, I look over, and guess what? FSX has crashed!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: Can I get any help? (I have already tried The UIcore fix). I don't think its my computer because it is fairly new, and I got it specifically for FSX and gaming.

Hi, I updated my p3d to v4.3 with a fresh install and on a new HDD and once I press "select airport" in the P3D menu, it shuts down with no errors. The default airport works just fine. I've looked at sveral forums etc but none has helped. Please help me!

Guys, Besides the term CTD sounding like some venereal disease, It absolutely pains me to say this, but my sim just keeps crashing. I thought my issue was a bad GPU one so I went out and got a brand new 10 series 8Gb video card I, hundred of dollars later, my sim keeps crashing without warning when I run the Lear or any jet for that matter. It just coughs and dies without and error message. It’s an absolute shame cause it’s my favorite aircraft. On every flight I run my task manager, and I am no where near out of memory or really pushing my rig at all. I am completely confused. Hi guys - I posted about this issue a month back or so. I continue to have random BSOD's I have had them happen in P3Dv4, XP11 and also randomly while computer is idle. Good news is that it is not sim specific! I have not been able to pinpoint the cause. I had added 2 new memory sticks before this all started so I removed them thinking that may be the cause but BSOD's still continue. I also checked all of my drivers with Driver Booster and I did have some that needed updating but again...still getting BSOD's. They are very random and I can go a week or 2 without one. Hi, I have a fairly decent 2 yr old Alienware Aurora, 1080Ti, whole system set up for flight sim only, "FSX-SE". I recently had system freeze doing a default FSX-SE mission, Catalina Resort. I also notice sometimes white screen flashing when toggling from VC to spot view. Although I specked out the computer with a Dell rep & they said it was more than capable to handle FSX, I now have Orbx. I don't know, I'm starting to wonder if its the processor speed, its only 3.4 GZ, I'm thinking of selling computer & getting stronger one. Just curious, what is the average speed others use on here? Hi, I have FSX Professional Edition, and yesterday I bought a SSD drive for my PC with Windows 10. The problem is, yesterday I tried to install FSX as a new program - since all what I had on my old HDD was deleted - and, after what seems a successfully installation, I tried to use it. But if I start a mission flight or I just click on "Free flight" in the top-left menu FSX crashes without any warning/error message. Hi jim the loading bar gets to 6% and crashes with UCRTBASE.DLL When i run my addon airport LSGG FSDT it crashes at 6% loading. I’ve tried Reinstalling. Also uninstalled the airport and tried running the default and get the crash. If i start at a near by airport its fine but soon as i get near LSGG it crashes. Now this is strange. This only happens around LSGG. I have FSDT LSGG installed but I uninstalled it and still when i try to load the airport up or even go near it, i get that crash. I can go to LFLB near LSGG and its fine. Reported it on CTD forum but at a loose end

I was attempting to do a long haul flight from KJFK-EHAM and my sim crashed. When I try to restore the flight it will load 80% during the auto generated scenery loading it CTD's. I've tried deleting the .cfg file. Turned all sliders to the minimum. Have tried a repair install and nothing seems to fix the issue. I would really like to avoid having to do a complete reinstall. Hello! I have FSLabs Spotlights and the A320 installed. When spotlights is installed, my P3D launcher is frozen on the Splash Screen. When I uninstall Spotlights, the game loads up perfect. I then try to use the A320, but that freezes my game (doesn't crash to desktop, look at screenshot below.) I also load a F-22 before loading the A320. This is incredibly annoying, especially because this is the only developer/software that has these issues for me. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Hello! As the title says, I am having some startup hangs on P3Dv4. I have reinstalled my P3D client and Content, delete the Scenery.cfg, Prepar3D.cfg. This problem occurred after I Alt-F4'd P3D while in fullscreen (I guess? The AVSIM Crash To -Desktop PDF stated this.) I also moved the dll.xml to my desktop and still did not resolve my issue. Hello peeps, on my p3d v4.2 when ever i select an airport and click ok... i get a CTD with no error messages. if i dont change the airport it loads up no problem... my addons are UK2000 EGSS (My most used airport) Orbx England FSWX GSX thats it, i did try loading other airports other than EGSS but stil CTD. I recently had to change my graphics card as my old card, an nVidia GTX590 would not work with the nVidia drivers and Windows 10 (or so I was told). My computer 'mr fixit' offered to install my new GTX 1070 graphics card, but ...... at the same time decided to do a clean re-install of Windows 10.
