Shalom and greetings all my pals, I have been using FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2 set in Windows 10 Pro using my new laptop that is now 9 month old. The FSX flights went smoothly with only one freeze per 20 or 30 flights which I can live with that statistical fact. But when I experience FSX freeze usually over large lake or sea or channel or bodies of water, I am totally puzzled to see that Event Viewer of Windows 10 produced no results or no explanations or no error messages for FSX freeze?? I have recently (less than a week) have gotten CTD when I open P3D and I have done all the P3D debugging steps so please DON'T recommend that. Hello. I would like to tell you that i've been flying p3d v4 for a month, and every single flight i've made, crashed during cruise phase. Simply the blue spinning circle appears and P3D crashed. I've made these flights: PMDG 747-8 SAEZ - LIRF (3 attempts, all endend in ctd) PMDG 747-8 SAEZ - SAWH - YSSY (During SAWH - YSSY, just after reaching Antarctica it crashed) Please help me. So about last week i started getting dxgi errors with prepar3d and i tried rolling back drivers and that didn't work, so i tried uninstalling my gpu in device manager and also that didn't work so after that i started getting Invalid hardware or Driver Detected errors too, so i reinstalled my sim and that didn't do anything either, tried debug mode in nvidia control panel but after bit it starts again so i don't know what to do at this point, I'm using a gamig laptop with a GTX1050TI & I5-7300HQ with 8 gb of ram, I'm afraid of using ddu because i heard it messed up some peoples laptops, and I'm using the october update from windows, i don't know if thats the problem bu…

I have an issue that may have been resolved but I'm not sure. I have flown the PMDG 777 for about 4 months without an issue. However I deleted the 777 because I was getting an RAAS issue after purchasing Imaginesim VIDP and Blue Marble Skygazer. After the fresh install of the 777 now it just crashes. No other aircraft makes it crash only when I select the T7. The screen loads to 100% I get the Initializing green bar and the countdown to 0 then it freezes and I get Prepared 3D exe has stopped working. Can anyone help me?

Upon receiving my first ntdll ctd in several months today I updated necessary drivers and windows, after doing so - I have come across a ctd I haven't seen before. I can load into P3D just fine, set up a flight and load it no problem, but as soon as the aircraft is 100% loaded the textures cease to load leaving my flightdeck black and some surrounding areas black also. If I pan around the aircraft for a few seconds the sim will freeze and after about 10 seconds of being in the freeze P3D will CTD. There is no crash log in event viewer. I thought it might have been the 747 immersion pack for the PMDG 747, however - after disabling that I still get the CTD. …

I have been simming with FSX for many years on a Windows 7 machine and really enjoyed every moment. Recently I was forced to change to another computer, namely a Windows 8.1 machine that was available. From that point on I have been taunted with Fatal Error crashes and started investigating why. What I have done so far:- 1) Installed FSX to c:\FSX 2) Placed UiAutomationCore.dll in the installation directory 3) Placed highmemfix=1 in fsx.cfg 4) Run FSX in Administrator mode None of these have fixed the problem. Hello, I've got some Problems during every third Long-haul Flight. After 30-60 Minutes P3D 4.3 crashes to dekstop without a message. This is what AppViewer says. Any ideas? I delete my scenery.cfg file and it tells me it's now missing and to re-install FSX. Steam edition. I cannot count the number of problems I have had with flight sims over the last 20 years. WOAI installer is the devil. The scenery.cfg file is a nightmare. I have spent way more time trying to fix this thing than I ever have flying it. I dont know if its a computer problem, a program problem or a user problem due to my ignorance in computer programming. I am very near giving up the hobby forever and taking up basket weaving or some equally boring thing. Hi all, I have not had problems with FSX for a long time. This weekend I did three flights and each time I had CTD with another cause: first atc.dll, second ntd.dll and finally third windows.dll. Is it normal that in three days I have CTDs of different genesis?. Hi, I was doign a flight from KOAK to KMDW 4 ish hours flight after about 3 ish my sim seems to have crashed to desktop and in app crash viewer if says the code in the title and the description follows as: 'A heap has been corrupted.' I have been getting these sim freeze ups pretty much every time I run P3D and do a flight. This usually happens about 3 to 4 hours of using the sim, and then all of a sudden, it freezes. It will freeze, stay there for about a minute, unfreeze for about 5 seconds, then freeze again. And when I try to click on it, it will eventually stop working and I will have to close it through task manager. I did notice a few things. First, when I opened task manager, I saw that P3D was using less than half a percent of CPU, even down to 0.1%. Another thing is I use FSUIPC autosave, and when it saves, its freezes due to me flying pmdg, and this only freezes for a few seconds. But the AC…

I'm have a rash of intermittent CTD when I try to fly into KSEA. I've had this happen in the PMDG 737 and 777. It always seems to happen in the descent between 17000 and 12000 feet and always from the south or south east. What happens is the sim will pause for a few seconds as the icon spins and CTD. There is no messages in Event Viewer or AppCrashViewer. I can fly in from Alaska and have not had a CTD yet. I can fly out of any of the local airports with no CTD. I have followed Jim Youngs advice when it comes to add-on.cfg and scenery.cfg using NotePad++ and I get no errors when I check them with Addon Oraganizer. I have two 1tb hard drives. The first hard drive is my main Windows 10 hard drive. The second is where I put Prepar3d on. I wanted to try out Linux, so I deactivated Prepar3d and put Linux on it. I then got tired of Linux and reformatted the hard drive for Windows 10. I then installed Prepar3d v4.3 on the secondary hard drive, but now Prepar3d hangs on the main screen and won't load up the page that has the aircraft and selecting the airport and weather and time of day page, I forgot what it was called. Last weekend I have installed a new SSD m2 disk, re-installed W10 1803 and P3Dv4.3. Agfter having done several test flights I added more scenery ( just by adding them into the library as those scenery are pr scenery ). I also have added Fs Global to the library. Since Friday the 12th FSX has been playing me up regards my GPU Drivers or other-wards display. I have read and done unless options regards ways of dealing with this error. Ever since the 12th of October I updated my drivers and that's when it started. I rolled back and uninstalled allot of times then updated and still the same. Before the 12th it was all good and working fine. Was using Sim, made a change in settings, Display from 1920x1200x32 to 1366x768.Rebooted and started FSX. Got error message, Fatal Error FSX will shut down. Went into FSX cfg and changed the display setting back to 1900x1200x32. Same error msg. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello All, Sadly P3d has started crashing on me. It looks to me like it's the NTDLL? From the CTD guide it seems like that could be linked to MyTraffic or the Nvidia update i did recently. I might try disabling/rolling back drivers, but first I thought I'd post here to see if anyone had any other advice.
