Hi There I have just installed P3D v4.1 again after I had some FTX vector issues, but not I am unable to change airport, both from the start up screen or within the game itself. I can load into the default location and any plane, but as soon as I select change airport and then hit "OK" it crashes to desktop with no error. See video showing the issue, Any advise, I am on Windows 7 Pro, Intel Core i7 6700K - 16GB DDR4 2133Mhz Memory - 2TB SATA Hard Drive - 500GB SSD - Asus Strix OC GTX 1070. Nvidia Driver - 388.0

I was doing a flight from LOWW/KMEM PMDG777F Left flight to fly overnight. Got up this morning and I was 400 miles away from KMEM. I had to go to work so I put the SIM on PAUSE. Came home and un-paused the sim and started clicking away to set up for landing and clicked the center fuel shutoff switches and got the below error. I had this happen the other day on a flight I pause for more than 8 hours when I depressed the LSK button. Could this be a result of just a long pause? Report is from APPCrashview. I haven't had to deal with CTD's since FSX, not really sure how to even begin troubleshooting my issue. Is there a log file from P3D that could give me clues as to what maybe causing it? I get no errors, just straight up CTD, mid flight or on take off. The update to 4.5 was client + content. I haven't done any .cfg deletions, maybe perhaps I should start with that and if so, which one should I nuke? Edit: Just saw the CTD guide, will read through it and report back.

Hello, I did again my flight from AMS - LAX and again in 5 hours I had a CTD with ntdll.dll I turned my settings a little bit down as requested before and I reinstalled Windows... How can I solve this CTD? I have checked the CTD Guide from AVSIM but I don't see the ntdll anywhere there... Can someone help me please? P3D is crashing after loading at the departure airport. I later saw that P3D had a green leaf besides it running. Any help?

Hey guys. For many years I've been using FSX with not much problems, or problems I could easily solve. Up until yesterday, when I went on to fly everything was good. However, since this morning FSX crashes anytime I either try to customize user-defined weather or get into a flight and try to look around. The most suspicious thing is there is no "fatal error" notice, FSX just freezes, goes black and then closes. Event viewer says it's an "app-hang" issue, and I've tried all sorts of things I've found around for fixing this problem (clearing temp folder, using sfc, re-installing directx, clean-booting the pc, etc.), to no avail. Hi. Prepar3d has just started to crash with a facilities.dll error and an access violation error. This has only just started to happen today. This morning I installed iBlueYonders KPDX scenery. I have had several flights today with no problem. This has just started to happen this afternoon. The access violation error has something to do with the UIinterface map viewer. So recently tried to do a flight from Belfast to Southanpton with the Majestic Dash 8. And both times on the approach to Southampton I have received the error stated above. The second time i monitored the GPU temps which were fine. Ran Memtest, ran scan disk, etc with no errors. Doing research on here and Google it seems this could be an unstable overclock or CPU heat issue. Thermal paste isn't that old and its Arctic silver. I run the i7-4790K, Nvidia 1070. Hi, Yesterday I bought the Qualitywings 787 and did a flight with it from LHR to JFK and discovered a problem I have never had before, with Active Sky. It is very frustrating because it happened 5 hours in to the flight and I only had one hour to go. My friend has this as well and he haven't got a solution. So, P3D crashes to desktop and a few secounds later I get an error from Active Sky saying: Error! AS_P3Dv4 cannot control ambient weather parameters correctly, thus it cannot function properly at this point and will shut down. Hi, since this morning I am experiencing a rather interesting CTD issue. The program loads up as usual, I get to the load screen and almost immediately after I click on Start Flight, the program CTD. The only change I did since yesterday (when it ran fine) was to install an update to Active Sky. I have already removed and re-installed the P3D client and scenery file and also removed Active Sky, albeit to no avail so far. Does anybody have any idea short of completely removing P3D (which would be a real hassle given the add-on installed so far). Regards, Oliver

P3D has been very slow lately despite updating drivers and other such things the simulator now hangs for a long time on a black screen with the sound of the aircraft.

Never seen this before but I think I had a windows update last week. On Thursday got a CTD with this. Did 3 flight yesterday with no problems today 2 flight both CTD with ucrtbase.DLL Any ideas?

Hi: For more or less two months now, I´ve been experiencing P3Dv4.4 crashes on exit (they get unnoticed, unless you look for them in the Windows AppCrash utility), caused by a kernelbase.dll errors. Only two or three times the crashes have been produced during the simming session, the rest are produced just when exiting P3D, and that´s why they got unnoticed most of the time. My last 2 flights I got a ctd shortly after takeoff and right before. Both were out of different airports with different weather conditions. I think it is because I changed my display setting around to match R&Ds setting from his site. Could a ctd happen because my settings are too high for my pc? If not, how can I figure out what caused this?

I can barely even set up a flight in P3d v 4.3 without quality wings 787 crash. Very rare I'd get to take off and it crashes. I don't have this problem with any other aircraft including 3 from PDMG without any issues. Anyone having this kinda issues?

FSX crash to desktop (says "Not responding") when I select STAR from the FMC on PMDG 737-800 NGX. The problem is only when I am in the air and try to select STAR from ARR menu. When I am on the ground I can select STAR with no problem.

Minding my own business testing out things to get a smooth sim when this ugly error crashed the sim, twice now. Seems totally unrelated to what I'm doing in the sim stress wise. Looking through the forum, I see its happened before and the fix was to update to the latest GeForce drivers. Well I did that and it's still happening. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hey guys! I'm having problems with my P3D v4.2 for a long time. I checked lots of foruns and I can't figure out how to solve it. I get some blue screens related to memory, sometimes minutes and sometimes after 1-2 hours. But sometimes I can finish my flights. I don't have problems with FPS.
