Hi all, So today i faced my first crash in the sim. I am running P3D V4.5 but have not faced a crash since i got it. I was flying the PMDG 747-800 from KSFO to EGLL. After 5 hours and 50 minutes (according to my acars) the sim crashed with no warning, no errors, nothing.I went into event viewer and found this. Any help would be great! I just had a flight through Europe with FSLabs Airbus and after around 1,5hrs in the air and not doing something at the PC it simply crashed. No warning just the crash. After that I loaded the save file again and all good. But after another 40min its the same crash again. All enroute 😞 Done recently a flight from KSFO to EDDF with B772 by PMDG and all was good. Tested the new QW787-10 at EDDF yesterday evening with a small flight around and got a blue screen. Even with 16GB of RAM installed. Ever since I installed P3D 4.4 I get the following random crash. It can be 30min into a flight or 2 hours. But my last 4 flights have all crashed with this Nvidia error. DXGI ERROR DEVICE HUNG Prepar3D v4. I have tried to clean install different drivers but nothing fixes it. Any ideas? Thanks in Advance.

I hope I am in the right forum. I have been getting the mesage below for the past week, which is puzzling. Your computer has run out of available memory. Please restart flight simulator and select different graphics, senery or traffic settings. I have not had this problem before as everything ran very smoothly prior to last week. My sim is FSX, my OS is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, my card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980, 8192MB RAM, 4095 MB approx total memory. Again, I had no prior issues. Any assistance in troubleshooting will be greatly appreciated.

Only the last 2-3 years I am finally getting fluid FSX SE performarnce, although I run it for personal reasons on a very ancient computer. I am getting CTD's because of sode process still running but not visible in task manager. I have a three monitor set-up with two monitors being HDMI connection and the other is a USB connected monitor. When I am sitting in parking and getting the aircraft ready to taxi and doing the checklists and other steps, I usually undock the ATC window and move it to the USB monitor and have done this for years. Now when I move it as normal, it results in a CTD. So I have tried that numerous times and still get the same result. So I re-started and undocked and moved the window to a HDMI connected monitor and resulted in no CTD. So after looking at event logs and anything else …

Hello! I've just started getting into Flight simming, but my FSX seems to randomly crash from 5 - 45 minutes into my flight and I really have no idea why. I thought it might be a memory issue as I only have 8gb, but I monitored my RAM usage during the most recent CTD and it was under 5GB. It might still be a memory issue, but I had plenty of space left in the RAM.d I looked around differnet forums and I have been unable to find a solution to the problem. Good morning, my problem is very strange and nowhere i found a kind of solution, i am going to explain you very clearly what's happen, while flying long haul, after about 4 hours of flight with the PMDG 777 ( the 5 times it happened it was with this aircraft ), the sim freezes for 1 minute then go again for 5 sec then freezes again for 1 min then go again for 5 sec, ... ect a strange thing is it doesn't move a lot when it is freezing, but the fuel continues to drop at the normal rate... it is so strange i have never seen that before.... and this is doing that for each flights now... and I have to restart the sim I tried to reinstall windows at a…

I'm running P3D V4.5 and up to a couple of days ago was running the NGXu, ASP4, Orbx and add-on airports reasonably comfortably at 30 fps just about everywhere, limited by the Nvidia Control Panel. P3D is now loading and starting a scenario but is scraping along at 2 FPS - really, 2 FPS. I'm reasonably sure what I've done is to stupidly start P3D while I had the Lorby Addon Manager running and probably worse, while I had the Lorby Export Library for Export Tool active. Hi all, Since the last 3-4 days, I have been getting CTD due to msvcrt.dll. It happens during the cruise phase, when i right click, or go to make some tea and come back after 10-15 mins and click a button in FMC, BOOM crash occurs. I have excluded FSX folder from my AV's scanning etc., also I have Windows Defender disabled in the first place through windows registry so that it doesn't interfere. Hi Community, Hope you can help. I had an issue (still have more on that later) whereby at Dusk and Night time only I get a DXGI error reset or hung message within 20 minutes without fail! In the daytime and as I write I am happily cruising in the Daytime in PMDG 777 at x8 time compression en-route to SBGL all is good! Hi I get a ctd with the default Bell helicopter, Beaver, and glider. Maybe others but that's what I have seen for now. Not C172, Goose or C208. I can choose them fine and even see them in preview but when the flight has completed loading I get the ctd. I noticed it when the Beaver caused a ctd so I bought the one from Aerosoft. It too caused a ctd. I had this problem before when I noticed the Alabeo R66 that I had purchased caused a ctd and so did the default Bell Ranger. I have done an uninstall and reinstall albeit I kept all the addon files. The last time this happened I had to clean out everything and start from scratch. I have tons of addon aircraft and scenery…

I have both P3D v3 and v4. This particualar problem has never occured in v4, only v3. Version is v3.4 and I'm only using it to fly FS Labs Concorde. On a flight from Heathrow down to Tenerife P3D just shut down. No warning and no entry in Event Viewer which is really weird. My aircraft was no closer than 100nm from land so I cannot see how a bad airport can be responsible. No-one else in the FSL's forum has mentioned this so it seems to be something unique to my system. Hey, I'm new here...And for the past few months, ever since November of last year. FSX has been driving me absolutley crazy with the sudden Not Respondings and me having to force-close the game right in the middle of flights. I can't seem to pinpoint exactly what is going on. I've deleted pretty much all my AFCAD files and custom scenery to the point where all I have are the custom planes I downloaded and My Traffic 6. I have encountered a rather strange problem with my P3DV4. DD, Latinvfr and Flightbeam airports randomly go completely black after working fine for a day or two, sometimes three. The fix is to simply reinstall the affected add ons and it will be fine for a few days or so. The problem was much more often until I unticked "empty scenery cache on exit." I have an i7 quad core processor with a 1060 GTI 3gb. I have had this computer and the same add ons for years and now all of the sudden it is doing this. Anyone have any ideas what could be happening?
