Hi Guys, Here is the event log from Appcrashview. Both CTD's happend with the FSLabs A320. Also, both have happened after I tweaked some display settings within P3D V5. Also attached are my display settings that I changed a couple days ago. I am running a 2080ti. I last flew it about a week ago. The PC Win 10 updated and shut off. Today, the PC App began it's startup and then CTD. Several attempts to start it via Restarts led to the same result. appcrash app indicates problem with Sim Connect. I upgraded to Win 10 last spring and the system restore is much different. I cannot find a date to restore to like Win 7 allowed me to do. Do I have to reinstall P3D? Can I update Sim Connect? I would welcome some help and suggestions. Thank you.

Dear: My P3D v5.0 is having CTD. I have SSD drive, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080. RAM 32 GB. Add-ons: FSDreamteam GSX and Level 2 Exp., airplanes: PMDG 747 QOTS II, 737 NGXu, FSLabs A3XX, Fly the Mad Dog X, QW 787, A2A Cessna 182T, Piper Cherokee, V35 Bonanza, Majestic Dash 8 Q400 Pro, Aerosoft CRJ 550_1000 in P3D v5.0. After flying for some time, Majestic Dash 8 Q400 Pro, sim freezes for few seconds, black screen, then CTD and in case of Aerosoft CRJ, "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG" message appears and CTD occurs. My brother and I both purchased the Carenado 182 from MSFS 2020 MarketPlace. Whenever we try to fly the 182 together in multiplayer in 2020, either he, or I or the both of us get kicked out back to desk top. This only happens with the Carenado 182. We both downloaded the latest Carenado 182 patch from MSFS and yet the problem still exists. Any Idea as to what is causing this. Thanks Walt

Hello, i installed 5.1 HF1 and get a ctd (d3d12.dll) when used viewgroups. The viewgroup with 5 monitors works until 5.1. Anyone with an idea ? Regards Jörn

Greetings. I am trying to figure out what is causing P3Dv5 to crash. Never saw this error before. I reinstalled W10 and wiped out everything before installing P3D v5. So clean install. I have about 20 sceneries and only QW787 addon airplane. No problem flying default planes. Recently I started flying QW787 and ucrtbase.dll is something new to me. Hi All, Just comparing notes - several times I've tried to set up a flight from Keflavik (BIKF) to Goose Bay (CYYR) and the flight loads to 90% and then CTD. If I change location to anywhere else (so far) - it's fine. Changing aircraft or routing requirements makes no difference. It's like there's some sort of bug impacting on the scenery for that region of the world. Just curious if anyone else can reproduce. My one PC seems to get this periodically, the other does not both running win10 2004 i have validated local files on steam on problem machine, found issues it corrected, but after a few restarts, had issue again at startup "Error Creating Child window" I am using the standard Boeing 747-400 and have no pmdg on my system long ago I did have pmdg on the problem machine, but I think i have removed not only it, but all folders assoc with it Any IDEAS?

Hey guys I have quite a few issues with reinstall of P3d v5 hf2 i reinstalled my qw 787 with beta real light and true glass I load sim and then it crashes ctd. would not do this prior To reinstall. I noticed that there is a P3dv5 folder with gauges folder and real light/true light inside Never the case prior. and also my AIG manager latest build 1.0.8 I believe is not working now it’s highlighted red in lorby manager. With fs2020 I uninstalled because of issues I could not resolve When I try to reinstall it the install freezes about 6 Gb into the installation I have tried a number of times to reinstall but it just freezes when trying to decompress files

Really hope this can resolve at least a few of your guys issues. I couldn’t log a single flight since it started and have lost close to 20 hours from Crashing to Desktop in flight or when trying to exit to the menu. FlightSimulator.exe had Exception code 0xc0000005 in Event Viewer as many have posted. This is how I fixed it:

I've been using FSX-SE for at least 3 years, and it has been mostly stable. Recently (last 2 weeks) I've been getting random crashes to desktop (CTD) and freezes. Yesterday the sound when switching between certain 'views' stopped. Obviously something has corrupted. Once I started investigating I discovered that some settings in the basic on-screen 'controllers' set up part of the programme had changed: random assignments of functions had appeared to different buttons on the three bits of hardware - Yoke, Throttle Quadrant and Pedals. Hello, This is my first post here, and I'm hoping for some guidance. At the bottom of the post, I'll attach my two latest crashes (both within a minute of each other when trying to fly on VATSIM this morning) and all modules installed.
