I've been using FSX with high detailed aircraft and scenery for about a year now without any CTD situations. I recently purchased LTBA and have not been able to perform a single landing. I have tried three approaches to runway 5, but every time I intercept the ILS, the simulator CTD. I have many flightbeam, taxi2gate, flytampa, and FSDT scenery and this has never been a problem. The only issue I am experiencing with the crash is that I am not receiving any messages. Rather it just crashes to desktop and that is that. I assume it is a OOM, but I don't understand why as I have higher detailed airports that operate perfect, and by settings are quite conservative. Any help or…

My installation is a clean install on a brand new machine. FSX-SE installed to c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\fsx and I get the Generating Scenery files and Building Scenery database each launch. Like many people I have problems with FSX:SE. The program doesn't start up, even after a reinstallation. I followed the Avsim CDT guide, but my problem stays. According to FSUIPC (registered) this is the VAS remaining (I think!) from the log file. Minimum available memory recorded was 1219Mb I'd had the sim running for about 3 hours - Sky Sim MD-11 was at cruise alt, weather was updating with METARs throughout (FSOpen Clouds). I right clicked on the screen to see what (if any) air traffic was in the sim at the time (stock AI traffic, set at about 60% for heavies) Then I got the "blue spinning timer donut of waiting".. For many years I haven't played flight simulator but recently I've regained interest. I've enjoyed MSFS since version 1.0 and I haven't missed obtaining a copy since. But for all those hours spent, I can never recall an OOM error.........until today. I recently upgraded to P3D V4.5 after not being in the sim for sometime. Now after about 15-20 min of flight time I get this BSOD. I have ran driver booster and updated all my drivers. I also ran all the windows svc scans and chkdsk scans. I really am at the point of just doing a full Windows and P3D install. Im running ORBX Scenery, TrackIR, EZdok. I just installed FSX on my brand new computer. AMD Ryzen 5, nvidia geforce gtx 1050 graphics card. I have tested this on another computer, and it works fine. The problem is whenever I change the Sim Rate from 8x or above, back to normal it gets stuck at loading the traffic. I have noticed that the problem goes away when I change the scenery to low settings. However, this is ugly, and I don't want to fly like that. Any suggestions?

Hi, . I just downloaded and used FSX steam version. However after I load FSX, I get the start up screen. After selecting the aircraft i start the flight but I get a black screen instead. I had this on my DVD version of FSX as well. Any ideas why?

Starting in the last two months I have been unable to complete a flight in any aircraft: PMDG NGXu, FSL A3xx, and CRJ. Every flight results in a silent CTD sometime during the flight (so far never on the ground), where P3D stops showing a wait icon and then disappears. I have been getting so annoyed and frustrated with my PC lately, every time I fly its the same stuff. I press a key or try to move my camera or change views and P3D freezes or goes black for a while then comes back. I land or press another key on the keyboard and P3D freezes again and crashes to desktop. Everyday its the same story, I really don't even want to fly anymore because my computer is being garbage. Hello, For the last two weeks I have been following all the advice in CTD AVSIM manual with no luck. I'm afraid I have reached the limit of my knowledge to fix my P3DV4 experience. What I see: P3DV4 screen appears for 13 seconds and then disappears. The Task Manager still shows the CPU is running at 13.5% or so. Used the Task MGR to shut P3D down.
