I cannot get P3d to run for more than 30 minutes and get CTDs after going through LM's debuggin steps and searcing extensively in this forum. Have tried reducing settings, scaling back my overclock but still getting this error every time I fly. Sound flickers and stutters before the CTD. Hello, have anyone experienced the following issue with the new Nvidia 397.93 driver? The P3D v 4.2 crashes to desktop midflight with the following message: DXGI Error Device Removed. I have experienced this several times with this driver, dont have such problem in other applications or with the previous versions of Nvidia drivers. Specs - i7-7000k OC at 4.6 Ghz, EVGA Geforce 1080 ti SC2 (not overclocked), 16 GB RAM. I run 1080p resolution and use Nvidia inspector 1/2 refresh rate vsync function and fps limiter of 30,5 fps.

FSX Steam Edition keeps on crashing mid flight. I recently bought my new PC and ever since i downloaded FSX on it it has just been crashing during flights. It freezes 20 mins into the flight but i still can hear the aircraft then it sends me back to the desktop. I've been trying to search for a solution to my problem but i have had no luck. Hey all, I have been having issues for about the last week where my FSX-SE has been crashing at random times, sometimes during a flight and sometimes when loading. The reason is always g2d.dll. I was looking for solutions online but none of them seem to have worked. Can you please help. Yesterday I started a thread that was pointing to .dll crashes on v4.3. Originally I was thinking it was a certain aircraft I was flying, but now I believe the CTD’s are being caused by my Windows 10 OS. So with this being said, has anyone else on here had any random CTD’s logged as a .dll crash? I did some snooping around on Prepar3D’s forum and to my surprise a few other people were reporting .dll crashes as well with this current Windows update. Thanks!

I am experiencing a very strange problem that I have tried to fix but am now out of options - hopefully someone can offer some help. This problem ONLY occurs when I go to launch my Carenado C208B Grand Caravan from the Prepar3D Scenario menu - it does not matter if loading it from a Saved Flight or from picking the C208B from the Vehicle menu. There is no problem if I load a different Saved Flight (different aircraft) and once loaded I then pick the C208B from the vehicle menu or load it from the C208B Saved Flight - no CTD. I'm catching CTD with faulting module ucrtbase.dll when on PMDG 747-8F entering UKBB to ORGN actually standing at UKBB. entering UKBB anywhere else is ok. entering any other ICAO at UKBB is ok. Found on the forum that the cause can be messed up exe and dll.xml, FSLabs, Coualt.exe, Carenado entries in dll.xml. I checked my exe and dll.xml they are ok, disabled all addons including FSL and GSX, no carenado installed, and no success. Never had such issue before. It happens only on PMDG 748F (freighter version only, pax version is working well). I posted on PMDG forum initially but was advised to write on this forum. win 10, p3d 4.3

When I launch the application it loads as it should but then disappears. I'm running a three monitor system, each monitor attached to a 3 port NVIDIA 1050 Ti. The app is up and running but is being displayed off the right-most edge of my right most monitor. When I click the app icon on the task bar I can see it expand outward to this off screen area. When I click it again I can see it contract to task bar. I can alt-Tab to the app window but when selected it, again goes to this off screen space to the far right. Hi, For some reason after reinstalling the PMDG 744 and installing the 748 my flight sim has just broke, it builds the scenery database then the splash screen disappears and P3D's CPU load goes up to about 13% and the memory usage almost 0.75 GB, I have completely uninstalled the 744 following PMDG's instructions and also tried the debugging steps found in the P3D forums, this has not helped. I really do not want to have to do a full reinstall of P3D but it looks like that is what I'm going to have to do. Thanks, Harry

Hi all, I've just bought PMDG 777 and tried a flight, but I encountered a CTD. I tried turning off all addons, reinstalling 777 and simconnect, but no luck. If I manage to set panel state to Cold and Dark before CTD it stays fine UNTIL I enter my GPS coordinate into POS INIT page. VFR flights without initializing position and any other functions work well. Does anyone know the fix for this??

After flying for a while sometimes I will get a "Not Responding" message and then a CTD - this does not happen that often but when it does it is most upsetting. Here is my EVENT VIEWER Report. Hi, I am getting terrain.dll crashes on flights from KSNA to KPHX in the AS Airbus pro. This happens exactly above ORBX KPSP. This makes sense since from searching the forums it looks like its related to the mesh resolution settings and system overload - KPSP is full of autogen and is in a mountainous area. It is recommended to go down to a 19m setting Now I have 2 questions - 1. From past experience some airports will not function correctly with less than 5m setting - FSDT KDFW, FSDT KIAH & Flightbeam KPHX all get spiky terrain (mainly around the taxiway bridges) when this setting is lowered. 2. Hey folks, I have recently Updated my Prepar from 4.2 to 4.3. First of all i have updated the Install_Client.msi. After that the problem came up. So i updated Intall_Content.msi and Intall_Scenery.msi as well, but the problem still occurs. I also made a Viedo to show the problem easier.
