Hello all. I am getting CTD constantly now. Very frustrating to say the least. My latest was 5 min ago 3+ hours into a flight and I am not able to see it as one of thee causes on the CTD guide. When I start the game, P3D gives me a message. DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG I have a GTX 1070 and I updated the drivers, yet still is crashing. Other games work properly. I also didn't make any hardware changes. Help

This happens no matter what aircraft I fly When I fly the QW 787I have not checked the WXR box so I am not running weather. The model will CTD on the runway before T/O roll, after T/O roll, during climb and any point along the flight, it happens at random and it also freezes my PC. It can happen when clicking on any gauge. Generally before 90 minutes of flight. When it freezes it makes a strange audio noise that sounds like cards clicking on the spokes of a bike. Also just a hum. I don't believe it is GPU driver related. I have no event viewer or APP crash report to share Thanks Randy

I am running PMDG 737 NGX. If I load a flight which was saved during the first few minutes of a flight, everything is fine. Loading a save from later on, e.g. top of descent, results in the system hanging at 4% "Loading scenery object" and crashes to desktop. Any ideas?

Good Afternoon All I've been running P3Dv4 for a few months now and randomly have CTD's. All addons that I have are compatible. I have just attempted a flight and the two attempts both CTD'd at the same point. I have not added anything or made any system changes since the last successful flight yesterday. Flying from EHAM to SEQM in the PMDG 777. Other addons include orbx South America LC. Rex skyforce. Active sky, pro atc x, PTA. No error message it just freezes followed by a not responding. Tried setting it up again from the same location. Plane flew for 5 more mins and then the same freeze again. Not experienced anything like this anywhere else. anyone else experienced problems flying in this region?

Hello! Help needed here, please!! Since 3 days ago, my P3D v4.2 CTD after loading to some add-on scenery airport like LFPG(T2G), ELLX, LOWI(ORBX), etc. This seems not happen in default airport. And it didn't happen to every addon airport. It happened no matter default or addon airplanes. I haven't installed any add-on recently and I just did 2 flight from LFPG one day prior to this event. I have already reinstalled P3D Client, repaired P3D Client, Content and Scenery, rebuild Prepar3d.cfg and Scenery.cfg. All those were in vain. So what else can I do?? Thanks a lot!!

I started using Process Lasso as a way to handle which cores P3D V4 uses, I set it up to use 2 - 7 for P3D leaving 0 - 1 free for windows applications etc. I started a flight from Shanghai to Leipzig, all was going well until I got a CTD 9 hours into the flight over a remote part of Russia. It couldn't have been a scenery conflict issues as I have no scenery in the area it occurred. The CTD was an ntdll.dll, one I haven't seen in a while which is the reason I ask - can Process Lasso be the cause of the CTD?

P3D has crashed three times now while trying to fly out of ORBX's Diamond Point airstrip. On one of the crashes, I got an error message window that popped up in the background saying something to the effect that P3D was having trouble rendering the weather. I am using ASP4, with historical weather set to 6/2/18 (yesterday). The only thing that's changed that I am aware of, is that Chaseplane updated itself a few days ago. But I flew just fine right after that happened. Anybody have any ideas?

Hello everybody, Yesterday I tried to install the Aerosoft Balearic "Professional" addon and managed to install Ibiza and Mallorca but when I wanted to test how it looks like and how the FPS are, I noticed that the startup screen is displayed but after a few seconds the splash screen disappears (without the main menu showing up) and I am sent to the desktop. Without an error message, nothing. I have read through various forums and also tried the following: -Delete the Shaders folder -To execute the "Delete generated files" file. -Delete All P3D folders in Appdata and ProgramData. -Delete the P3D.cfg. I've been using P3D v4.2 normally in the last few days, occasionally only a crash here and there on GSX when trying to customize some parking locations, but other than that nothing that I can notice really. Today I went to Event Viewer in order to check what it would have caught and surprisingly I noticed several P3D errors, apparently one for each time I closed the simulator: Event ID 1000 ***API.DLL*** Again, the simulator always seemed to close normally, as well as AS4 and ChasePlane (which both I close afterwards). Hey all, Hopefully I'm placing it at the right place at the forum if not, my excuses. Since a couple of days, after a crash, P3D works very bad in combination with all the PMDG aircraft: 737, 747, 777. The crash was with a 777. Since then, flying gives problems, for about 5 seconds, every minute: Not responding. This is only with the pmdg's. Tonight I reinstalled all the pmdg's, but was no solution. Hello everyone, Recently, I haven't been able to fly, due to multiple reasons. Firstly, whenever I open P3D (version 4.2.21.24048) I seem to be only getting 4-5 airports plus 'ignore' which is strange. I have been told to attempt to spawn and then try and access the add-on library to find out the cause, but have been greeted with multiple CTDs, coming from atc.dll errors as well as terrain.dll and api.dll errors, as well as fsuipc5.dll_unloaded errors. I have a problem similar to this, i can boot up fsx (steam edition) with no problem, i can create a flight plan and everything on the loading menu works fine. but as soon as the sim actually loads it runs for about 3-5 seconds and the the screen freezes. the sound still works just fine, and then with no error messages or anything, the screen goes black and it crashes to my desktop. please help!! I tried un-installing everything (aircrafts, scenery, and even the game itself) I have tried using both available dll files. I renamed my CFG file and still nothing. help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Hey fellow simmers. I'm at a loss here. Situation: Was loading up a flight from TNCM-KMIA yesterday for the VATSIM event and upon selecting the PMDG 747 QOTSII and then starting the scenario, I get a CTD as soon as the scenario finishes loading. After this, I loaded up the default scenario with the F-22, then switched over to TNCM and get a CTD before the scenario is finished loading. If I load TNCM right away I get the ucrtbase.dll error. If I do the 2nd scenario, I get the kernelbase.dll error. I've gone through the entire AVSIM CTD guide and haven't gotten anywhere. Here are my AppCrashView details for both... Hello all! Recently I have been experiencing a weird error, which I couldn't find anything about by doing a google search. This error occurs during the loading screen. I have several devices connected to USB 2 and USB 3 ports including a PFC Yoke, Flightlink rudder, JetMax 737 Throttle, and GoFlight MCP, EFIS, and Radio Stack. The GoFlight Radio Stack has powered USB hub, which is connected to a USB 2 port. I am also using Remote CDU and an iPad for a remote FMS display. Whenever I use the time compression (8x or more) on the 747, I get CTD. Using P3v4. I do not turn off the AI, but I I never had CTD when I used FSX at 8 x or even 16x with AI. Anyone have any ideas?? TY

This past week I have been getting a CTD every time I try to run P3d. I made no changes to the sim from the time it started so I don't think it is from something I recently installed. I do my normal start up by running Active Sky and Sky Force and then I right click P3D. In doing so, the P3D logo starts up along with UTL and then it just disappears. From there, the icon saying Chase Plane is disconnected shows up. What can I do to see what is causing this? I hope it is not a full uninstall, reinstall situation!
