Hi Just installed FSX PMDG 737 NGX and started tutorial #1. I've meet a recurring problem that I have with my FSX. Everything seems OK when preparing a flight (or even in flight) and then occasionally, the sim' stops me selecting different views with a click of my joystick. It happened again as I was going through tutorial #1, where some time is spent setting things up. It just seems to freeze up and the only way out is to close FSX. I know it's not a PMGD problem but I'm having no luck looking for a solution. Could it be a CTD? I also sometimes get an ”out of memory – re-start FSX” message. Could this be a VAS? Hey guys, I just have same CTD problem on a flight from KDEN to LFPG with PMDG777-300ER. P3D V4.2. Two attempts for same flight, CTD at same location. With Captain PFD popout disabled, and Ultimate Traffic Live, ORBX NA installed. All drivers are up to date. The crash site is not in an airport range, just somewhere over Northeast Canada. There's also a windows error reporting, log has been attached. It seems that something wrong with WERAF. I updated to P3Dv 4.2 and I have now had 3 CTD at different times. This never happened to me with 4.1. Anyway once the crash occurred while taxiing out. The others were after takeoff and the latest was when I was about 10 mins out of my destination! How frustrating! These crashes involve the sim freezing while the little blue Windows circle appears for several seconds. Then the sim closes to desktop with no warnings or any error boxes. When I look at event viewer there is no error logged to look at. I can’t even begin to figure out what the cause is! Any suggestions would be appreciated before I go the route of a re-install. Hi guys. I recently just got back to flying actively again on P3D V4 under a new rig. I've done a fair bit of short haul flights and one long haul flight and everything was fine, until recent few flights. I will describe problem below and would appreciate any help/suggestions please. My last 4 flights, 3 of them ended up with CTD. First 3 flights are FSLABS A320 and Last flight was PMDG 77W 1. I've updated the client only. I have no issues except that I get occasionally CTDs. It can happen at congested areas when I reload a flight (w/o leaving P3D) or when I modify settings via control panel (scenery or autogen density). The CTD happens w/o further notice and immediately. As I did not change anything else I don't know what I could do to avoid it. Any ideas?

Today I bit the bullet after a full week of trouble. Prepar3d was working fine for about 2 weeks and then the problem started. P3d has been freezing up on me right after i start it up. It quickly shows the updating scenery, traffic etc blue line on startup, and the just freezes at the black screen just before the startup screen, select flight. I "zeroed" the entire pc today. (windows 10) reinstalling everything hoping to solve the problem at hand. Everything was fine, for a couple of hours and then it frooze up on me again. back to zero. Hi all, I have had massive problems with my prepar4.1 freezes up upon start up. I even did a reinstall of my entire pc which is brand new only for prepar3d. I just purchased the NGX but then all things went wrong. P3d freezes up on the black screen just before the select flight screen. When i run windows 10 log i can see there is a problem with Sim1.dll which according to the CTD guide from Avsim is connected to an incompatible Aircraft (PMDG 737 ?) or a corrupted texture ? ) have anyone else had trouble with this ? I only owned this for about 3 weeks and i love PMDG. But should it not work flawlessly in prepar4.1 ? Kind regards

Hi all, hope you can help me out... I have a huge problem with my prepar3d v4.1. It just started freezing at the startup just before entering the start screen. I have been trying to use ORBX global as well as Vector and PTA. It all worked fine until I purchased REX4 and tried to install that. for a couple of weeks since then, I have not been able to run Prepar and install my goodies. I can run a prepar repair, and then it will start up and run again. But if I try to tweak it, it just starts to freeze up again. Hope someone have any sugestions. Thanks in advance. Hello, So Im having this very annoying issue were if i change views to many times especially when changing views on AI aircraft i crash. Now the crash doesn't happen immediately it will happen at random times, but mainly a few mins after changing views to much. My most recent crash i hardly changed views at all but it crashed while changing, this was about 20 mins into a flight. It always crashes at least 10 or so mins into a flight. If i jump in and spam view changes for a view mins it wont crash, it will only crash 10 or some mins after i start flying. Also i have tried the uiatomationcore thing and it has not helped. Hello to all, I have being enjoying some two weeks now the P3D V4.1 after some years with FSX. My addons are Orbx, Active Sky, UTLive, GSX, Fs2Crew, MJS Q400, Reshade and PTA. I have also some scenery from FlyTampa LGAV (Athens) & LGKR (Corfu). All items where installed by their "original installers" and bought especially to be compatible with the 64bit version. I made some flights and all systems were working fine. Hi Just doing a quick flight with the AS A320 from Heathrow to Hamburg on VATSIM when I got a CTD just after passing over the UK coastline and over the North Sea. AppCrash View read it as an ai_player.dll. Log attached below. I've done a few searches on google about this and referred to the Avsim CTD guide. It says that the Ai program is to blame; I only use World of Ai for my model matching for vPilot, using vmr generator to make the files. I never turn on Ai traffic for aircraft or cars and have very low settings for sea traffic. Should I reinvest in a more modern traffic program for model matching to prevent this from happening again or is there something else to …

Hello to all, looks like i've found my very own "Bermuda triangle" where P3D will ALWAYS crash with an "kernelbase.dll": At around N40 24.68 / E30 0.39 or flying from PIMAV to TOKER at around 35 nm left to TOKER my P3D will crash, no matter if i fly with PMDG or with stock F16, with or without ASP4 / UTL / SF3D / EZCA / stock AI traffic etc. Can try it also to slew the aircraft, the sim will crash. In that area are NO addon Airports or other stuff installed, only ORBX Global should be there. Can someone reproduce that crash?

Hi! So I just got a CTD during my first flight on P3D v4. I was using the PMDG 77W from the Sunskyjets KPHL to EDDF (Aerosoft) and was half across the atlantic flying on VATSIM (vPilot) when I got a CTD... :-/ I checked the event viewer and it says the fault module was ntdll.dll...(Ill copy the fault message below, it's in swedish but the important stuff will be there)... Since I just got the sim after having been on FSX since 2009 I do not have much installed. Hi guys, I've been using FSX for flying for about 1year and i flew only the b17 wings of power plane ( i like ww2 planes).So,when i got bored i wanted to fly the B737 and I selected it and I clicked Fly now .After that, I've seen my windowed screen and then:FATAL error crash.I don't know what to do, I tried to use the default B737 -800 ( not PMG.....).It happens always the same thing.The funny part is that this happends even with the Airbus model but if I try to fly the B747 it works.Please help because I wanna fly the B737.Best regards.

Recently re-installed FSX Gold & Acceleration Pack. Have a 3.4Gb Phenom II Quad Core, EVGA 550Ti vcard & 8Gb Gskill "Ripjaws Red" 1333 RAM, and Windows 7 64bit. I realize this isn't a great sys., but when I had an older sys., everything worked fine. The issue is this: Even with settings on the low side, I'm getting less than 25 fps. Also, having trouble finishing flights due to CTD. Flights I do finish are not being recorded on the pilot log. Anyone with ideas to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

So lately P3D has been crashing randomly. Sometimes ill get halfway through programming my FMC and it will freeze for a couple seconds then disappear. Other times ill be flying for 2 hours and it will freeze then crash. It doesnt matter what plane im flying. Sometimes I'll have an error in the event viewer other times I wont. Although im getting a bunch of errors in the content error log. mostly referencing payload stations.

Initially this event happened on Jan 20th after my PC updated to Win10 build 1709. I am not certain this is the root cause but the proximity of the update to appearance of the problem is suspicious... On starting P3D with the Majestic Q400 in a saved state partway through a flight P3D loaded, the Q400 was screwed up, with control inputs unresponsive, indicators flashing and was generally unuseable. (I have had this occur following a win10 update before and reinstalling the Q400 fixed the problem...not so this time however!) Been getting stackhash CTD frequently out of the blue. The only big system change was recently installing REX Skyforce 3D. Haven’t had time to take to any testing yet, but I’m suspicious Active Sky may be involved since it is the weather engine itself.
