I was finally able to get the library to work and saw no new fsx missions.Also their not showing Newest to Oldest so, I went thru them all and it seems nothing new but 1 since Oct.Have all the Mission Makers for FSX went somewhere else ?Hope not. FSX Missions are my favorites. :(

Help required please.Operating system Vista. FSX Deluxe, Service Packs 1 and 2.Problem:My problems are with the default FSX missions. The first is with "Civil Air Patrol Search", to find the downed aviator. I have attempted to fly this mission at least 5 times, and on each occasion the aircraft's performance lacks the ability to carry out a successful result. Taking the same aircraft from the generic hangar, I can get performance which would allow a successful mission.The second problem is with the Amazon Trek mission. Hi! I have troubles landing the Pilatus!When I put it down on the runway, cut throttle and let it slow down.The tail goes down.As it reaches taxi speed, it suddenly turns left, put the right wing into the ground and crashes!!Is it correct? What am I supposed to do?I'm trying in the approach training mission, but I don't see any wind in it and the approach goes smoothly.Any help?Thanks a lot!

I have installed and reinstalled SDK's and they never show up in TOOLS or anywhere else. I have read the article over and over and it says"if you install in default directories" you should not have to do anything? Could someone maybe give me a better idea of what to try? TIA, Danny

Hi All,I am having a problem with Mission 2. I executed the "go-around" when the nose gear fails to deploy; I then made another approach, but the gear does not deploy. How can I get the nose gear down?

Hi, I tried the mission which on the Acceleration pack that we take off on a Carrier and I have to internept a Cessna Caravan when Nasa gonna launch a shuttle I think. I found the Cessna and my mission was to intercepted it before the time run down. But how do you intercept it? I have to push a button when I am close to him or I have to fly into the plane? I have try everything and I don't how.If some one have done this mission, could you give me some helps please. Thanks. :(

can anyone help me i always seem to come about a mile short of the airport and go into the water?

Time is not listed as a choice for a Property trigger, although most planes have a clock. The flight file specifies the start time for a mission. At a given point in the mission that is time variable, I need to know the time for an intercept waypoint. Short of adding hundreds of timer triggers, for an action that only one would trigger; has anyone figured out how to capture elapsed time for use in programming a mission? Thanks.Jake

Hello, everyone. I've just recently upgraded my rig and am having a ball flying at high details and high framerates. It's like rediscovering FSX all over again. Anyway, with regard to missions, my all time favorite has to be the Amazon Trek. It's got that Tales of the Gold Monkey/ Indiana Jones vibe to it that I really got immersed in the first time I flew it. (I even made a thread shortly after FSX was released gushing over it)So now that I'm trying to get up to speed on what all is available now, I was wondering if anyone knew of any single missions or mission packs that offer the same sort of vibe as Amazon Trek. Hi,I have'nt checked all 15 pages for a similar topic.I'm using MS FSX orginal without any addons.Is there somewhere i can find passenger missions where i can start the mission with all engines down. So i can go through real world pre-flight procedures.

Hello everyone.During the last couple of weeks I started playing with the Missions and found a number of issues that were very confusing. During the learning stage I decided to write a small Tutorial, and compile a Kit /.zip, that may help others to get started. Post here if you have any problems / feed back. Hey guys, I'm new to the avsim forums and the mission building community, so I wanted to sorta introduce myself and a new idea I had. One of my favorite features of fsx are the missions. So I wanted to create a club around them. I have created a few missions so far and will be uploading one or two to avsim in the near future (hopefully this afternoon.) am very new to FSX and have tried the above mission a few times. On landing the aircraft does not seem to want to stop - pressing F2 to activate thrustreversers has no effect - ay suggestions?

I have tried to beat this mission countless times but still haven't gotten it. I have tried diving for the start, flyinfg straight and level, any thing I could think of,but I still haven't beaten it. The problem is not my piloting skills, I have beaten all of the missions (except for the gliding ones, I don't have the patience for those). I have even beaten the Red Bull mission. Well,I had, untill I uninstalled SP1 and lost my rewards (throws up his hands in despair). Anyway, it would be much appreciated if someone could tell me how the beat this mission (and that annoying driver). Thanks in advance!

I would like to re-use FS9 flights in FSX (namely the series of Doherty's Difficult & Dangerous Approaches).In FS9 it was as simple as opening an existing flight.But in can't find this in FSX. There are existing (and add-ons) missions, but if I place one of the Doherty's Difficult & Dangerous Approaches folder into the FSX Missions folder, nothing shows up. If I put it into the Flights folder, still no joy.What am I missing ? Typically, the Doherty's Difficult & Dangerous Approaches include pairs of .FLT + .WX files. I try to understand the reason why in comparing the FSX missions folders, but can't get a clue of what goes wrong and what I'd do to make it work…

In Ed Olander's Carrier Ops FSX F18 mission that I downloaded from Avsim a few days ago, I cannot find the 737 that is the target that one is intended to intercept and escort to an "undisclosed" airfield.It would have been nice to include the heading from the ship, distance and altitude, which any fighter pilot would have known before launch. It is a big sky out there and I am having no luck.Anyone have a hint which way to go?
