FSX | P3D Missions Forum - How To

I found a really cool scenery/aircraft(?) on Flight Replicas, that is an entire bomb group of 126 B-17s as 1 "aircraft", so you can have a massive swarm of B-17s for simulated missions without the tedious formation making or extra polys causing lag. The issue is - how the heck do you get it to follow a mission plan!? In this case, I essentially just want 1 AI aircraft, to follow a loop of coordinates (about 12), no takeoff or landing, and enough to where I can fly along in formation. I will be releasing a NEW FSX Simcopter. This version is a complete re-do of Sim Westerly. New 3d object by me have been added along with many object by other 3d modelers that I have downloaded from avsim. The missions are now easier to install with a self installing .exe. and easier to complete. You will only fail if you jut can not finish it because you just ran out of time to play it or you crash your helicopter. THERE ARE NO CODES to unlock the zip file. Hello dear pilots ! I am encountering a problem with Edit Voicepack X . I run FSX and i recently created my new airline. After completing successfully , the new entry, by creating a new airline in Editvoicepack X , i experience a problem When i talk to ATC , only the flight number is appeared and heard , though the ATC recognises my airline and tells it correctly. Hi All, i know this might sound stupid but am trying to load the flight plan of the PMDG 737-800 NGxu to my FMC Co route. I know in order to do this i must find FSX/P3D folder to load my simbrief flight plan. just cant find the folder of the Flight plan NGXU folder on my PC. I might be just looking in the wrong folder. Hi-new here and asking for help. Last month's new FSX-missions appeared in AVSIM-library--author==HeloMissionMan. Basicly enjoyable about new addons and I tried some. 1'st ( "Queenstownfishermansrecue") works well--nice!😊 Others like "Carcassretieval", "Seaplancrash", "Prisonerevacation"....starts only as freefligt--no compass, commets, objects. No idea about differece zu those! In readme's emailadress is shown ([email protected]) to get answers--- ---but doesn't work--maildomain!😞 Has anyone tried such missions? Using FSX many years and often came bugs by downloads--most errors are missing objects in XML-files but cannot find any. …

You how it goes, you finally get everything cooking just nice ...except for that one little silly thing that defies all efforts to track down. I can taxi, takeoff, fly land....but on touchdown no nosewheel steering. Looking externally, it appears the nosewheels are just slightly below the runway. The only way to regain control is enter slew mode, just a quick tap of the Y key and the nosewheels bounce back up and all good again. P3Dv5, ActiveSky, FSDT,AIG, RFN, and SWS Carriers active, all software, drivers and OS updated and current Removed all and added them back one at a time, no difference. No errors generated or log Ideas?

Welcome to the Appalachian Trail Adventure. This a series of 13 missions which follows a dirt path thru 13 states along the famous Appalachian Trail in the eastern United States. Start the mission in Georgia and follow it north to Maine. From the avsim library you will need download and install the Appalachian Trail Scenery from FSX scenery page and the Appalachian Trail Adventure from the FSX Mission page. I am using Instant Scenery along with MegaSceneryEarth to create land classes, lakes ,rivers and roads as close as I can to the real scenery about one mile around the trail as FSX will allow. Not sure if this in the right spot, so if isn't, please forgive me. Did a quick search & couldn't find anything. Have been doing flight planning with the default P3d V4.5 flight planner. I set up a plan using the PMDG 738NGXU, from Honolulu - Van Nuys. The default High Alt. route gave me a GS of 1065kts., a fuel burn of 18,540 Gal., and a 2:06 flight time. I realize the PMDG a/c are good, but not that good! ( sarcasm included 🙂 ) I've noticed this with many other a/c too. FSX usually didn't have this problem. Is this a bug with P3d? How am I supposed to figure a fuel load when it's like this? Is there a fix for this? I don't want to use a 3rd…

I have looked around on-line and the answer seems to be "no" or "not without a lot of work".... Does anyone know of a quick and efficient way (or program) to convert old FSX flight plans to P3D?...my current version of Plan 3G does not recognize the old ".FLT" files... Any help appreciated... I am currently busy to train my skills on a hand flown ILS approach and landing. i created a short flight for this, but it would be more efficient to make touch and go's followed by a circuit. Is it possible to load such a circuit in the PMDG 737 FMS? Any tips are welcome. Thanks in advance Henk

I am in the process of making several missions on the Appalachian Trail called "Appalachian Trail Adventure " I will be working on each state the trail goes through. I started the missions in Connecticut, my home state, and the first state me and my wife hiked. We have been hiking the Appalachian Trail since 2006 (we are 56 years old) and section hike the trail during my vacations. We have finished everything from Pennsylvania to Maine. I have created a great mission but it needs to allow the user to see the payload stations. I cannot seem to unlock the menu item for Viewing Fuel and Payload. During a Mission, FSX locks out the 'View Fuel and Payload' menu item. I really need to figure out a way to unlock the menu item or at least provide a way for the user to view their payload stations. Anyone have any clue how I might do this?I have already tried the 'Realism Settings' option in the mission builder to try and override it but no luck. Help!!!

I am new to P3D (v.4). I looked in the forums for this topic and I did not find it, I'm guessing that I didn't have the correct search criteria entered, but here is my question. When I take a screen Capture, "V", it only seems to capture the main viewing screen. If I have alternate views defined, I can not seemed to find nor figure out what I can do to capture those images. Is it possible with P3D? If not, are there alternate solutions to my issue? I am currently running two monitors, and I have a View Group Defined (within View Group Management) that spans the "main view" across both of my monitors. I love that! Allways nice to see new FSX-missions---some better where be scenery-links to add. In readme-text only the authors are shown--not easy to find needed addons. This is much better by other authors.

Please except my apology. After testing the New York mission I found some items that I needed to add. I added them but forgot to transfer them to my upload folder. Thankfully someone sent me an email to let me know that the he did not get a reward at the end of the mission. These items have just been uploaded. The PFD is the only screen that does not expand to a larger screen in the PMDG B737NG with the P3DV4...It did expand when I was using FSX....So, why not now?

Has anyone tried this new mission (AVSIM library) ? It doesn't work for me again. Goal is to switch from plane to heli-(EH 101)-- but mission starts only as freefligt--no comments. In XML-file I missed EH101 as OBJECT-entry--can it work anyway?

After absolving some Trail-missions this one doesn't work. Missionfolder is only named "Mission" and FSX can't find it. Folder-renaming---no way. I tried to contact the author (*******@juno.com)---also maildomain! No idea about difference to other addons.
