FSX | P3D Missions Forum - How To

i have a problem with at least two of my aircraft where in virtual cockpit the windshields are not transparent...it looks like very rough fiberglass covering all windows...does anyone know what could cause this to happen and how to fix the problem...below is a screen shot of one of my aircraft with this problem...this message is crossposted in Simviation...

In the last part of the mission when the engine fails, I feather the engine as suggested but I still cannot gain any altitude or get speed past 80 knots. I followed the river all the way to the end but then I am forced to crash since I can't get altitude above the docks and buildings.How does one complete this mission?

Does anyone have this working? I start it and start on the runway , no voice instructions, and no balloons in sight. I have no compus or the rotating green marker.I think it's broken. I have tried to get the xml from the SDK and did that but I can't understand what I have to do to make it work.ThanksJoe W.

Hi all,I find myself being crossed the Florida peninsula and flying out into the Atlantic after about an hour flying. Is this correct? It seems to me as though this is a glitch of some kind, can someone please shed some light onto this mission?

It is a multiplayer mission with carrier (plus single player variant).I have a problem with my mission.In the multiplayer carrier mission, I start at 0,0 latitude and longitude. When I make it a single player mission, I start at the correct location (SFO). HelloI have installed this mission twice. It seems to start up ok with me looking at the default 2d cockpit. I sit there and wait for the co-pilot to start talking, but nothing happens. According to aerosoft you must wait until the view changes to cockpit view before doing anything. (After the mission is loaded by FSX just wait until the viewpoint moves to a cockpit view)Like I said, everything seems ok except no co-pilot. Anyone else have this problem?Ernest

Has anyone gotten this one to work? When landing on 22 after being told to break off the approach to 04 at the Navy base (burning plane on threshold) and cleared to land on 22, mission keeps telling me I was not cleared to land on this runway.Thanks

I was reflying the "Introduction to Mountain Flying" Beginner Mission and after landing at Lower Loon Creek Airfield I decided to take back off and fly a bit and saw this big grizzly, just wondered how many others had seen him/her?

I have a mission on one computer FSX Acceleration Pack and tried to see if it would work on another FSX SP1 system.I zipped up the directory and unzipped it onto the second PC.The Mission is there but no sounds or nav compass appears. The sound files are there.Any suggestions as to how to configure this to work on the second PC ?

I finally determined that the DC-3's are in Peru after 3 hours (Aaaaaaaargh!) of searching in Bolivia can anyone tell me the area that the are REALLY in? Thanks. As a side note: mission developers, I appreciate all the work you put into making these missions but I am tired of wasting many hours because I am searching in the WRONG COUNTRY because that was where I was told to search. If you want to put it in another country, give hint like "...there is a small chance that the flight was blown off course (or lots it's way) to ___________(neighboring country.) I have come to EXPECT that the aircraft WILL NOT be where you all say to search.

Can anyone help me find all four lots of sheep for the King of Bovine Terror badge. I have spent over an hour and have found three lots.1: Nestled in the trees directly ahead after take-off2: Immediately southwest of one of the barns3: Near the roadway on the way to the airportI have heard the fourth lot are roaming loose in a field to the right of the roadway, as you head towards the airport but cannot find them. Hi all,I saved the mission on the approach to the runway. When I resume and "fly the gauntlet" the runway is missing. Time of day doesn't matter,but I do not want to restart from Narita if it is avoidable. ****Yet Another SPOILER******** SCROLL DOWN ************When I land in the cave, I wind up smasking into the back wall.That runway has to be there somewhere. Hello all ... I completed my first mission last night and uploaded it. It's called "Lunch on Catalina Island" and I'm eager to hear feedback about it. I know there's a little bug in it that causes FSX to crash when you go to the MISSION BRIEFING, but a work around this is to go to another mission's briefing, then BACK to the list of missions and then finally to the briefing for this mission.Anyway ... like I said, I'm looking to hear your feedback. I hope you enjoy flying it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

In the Telluride mission I have two problems:1 After engaging APP the aircraft doesn't lose height by following the approach glide slope. No matter what I do I cannot achieve an autpilot landing.In an effort to check that an ILS reading was set by the "Co-Pilot" I went to Map mode where it appeares as if no ILS is available at Tellurude.If that's correct then engaging APP would naturally serve no purpose.How should we land in these circumstances please?Cliff

Hi there,I am a newbee at creating missions and would be most thankful for a little help on an area which I am not familiar with.I very much enjoy creating a flight from one airport to another and useing VOR's, NDB's and waypoints which I determine, and also giving directions from a cold start. Now before I changed to Microsoft XP Pro and FSX I was able to create this with the ABL program which Microsoft provided but unfortunatly this no longer works in XP.Now I have downloaded and read what tutors are available for creating missions and one thing which I have not been able to get to grips with is this. Hi all,Can anyone please help me:When I get the order to takeoff from the runway, the first marker is a hold position next to a runway. When I get there, nothing happens and the mission is just stuck - I dont get the next marker.What should I do to continue with this mission?LK

I love the idea of this mission but can't get it to work. I've followed the directions exactly. When the mission starts the bells engines are NOT running and it's parked at an intersection but nothing else is around. It seems like the mission doesn't begin.Anyone else get this to work?..

I downloaded Gera Godoy's "Wherewolf" flight plan/mission.I was able to find the blimp file (gdyr2k2.zip) but not the texture file (milblimp.zip) or the b-24 file (b-24-up.zip)Can someone point me in the right direciton for those 2 files?thanks,-willie
