I fly at a VA which uses the 737-200 for humanitarian cargo flights all over the World. Some of these are at the edge of the 732's safe range and are very long. While I love the CIVA INS unit it is only practical when I'm actually at the computer to switch to the next ADEU card on these long flights. Yes...I admit it...I have a life and cannot spend hours upon hours waiting for the next ADEU card switch :( . So, is there some way to just use GPS navigation for long routes? I added the "NAV/GPS" switch from the default FS9 737-400 as suggested here (a long time ago) but that switch did nothing. I was in "RAD" mode...not "NAV", and selected "VOR/LOC" on the AP and switched…

I just started using the Tin Mouse again for FSX, and I absolutely love it. My only issue is that some of the sounds such as the call outs for example, are too loud for my liking. I see that this is supposed to be changeable via the TM.ini file but I can't find it anywhere. I even did a search and the file is no where to be found. I did a 1.30 install with the 1.40 wide panel upgrade. Have I missed something? I've installed the v 1.32 for fsx but neither the artificial horizon nor the airspeed indicator works. The artificial horizon can show rolling but can’t indicate changes in the pitch. It’s like when you don’t align the IRS in the newer planes or align it partially and not all the data necessary for a normal flight is shown, but the -200 series has no IRS! Although I’ve read somewhere (probably the instructions of the v1.31 or v1.32) that one of the packs would fix these bugs, it just doesn’t worked for me. hi,as far as i could find out, the cockpit sounds are located in somekinda DLL file. Now i really want to change those but as far as i could figure out, its not really possible or is it? I want to have different GPWS callouts for example.

Hi guys, I fly the Tinmouse now since some days more regulary but yesterday I had something never seen. I made a take off at KSEA with the plane fully filled with fuel and PAX. Flaps were at 5 and EPR at 2.04 as predicted by the system. The plane needed approximately 9000 of the 11000ft to accelerate to the Vr of arround 140 KIAS. Is this normal for that plane?Btw. you guys did an fantastic job with this plane. The best freeware plane ever made. Thanks for that.

Good evening, After much trial and error, I am at a lost as to the proper way to couple the default GPS to the autopilot's lateral mode (SP177). I'm using the correct panel cfg for the default GPS, and the NAV/RAD is switched to "NAV". However, when selecting the "LNAV" function, it fails to capture the programmed course on the GPS. The SP177 LNAV function works fine when intercepting a VOR radial (when the NAV/RAD is switched to "RAD), and also when flying coupled ILS approaches. Please advise as to the proper way to program the SP177 in order to properly couple the default GPS to the SP177. Btw, I'm fully updated to version 1.4. Thanks in advance for your help.J.C. (M…

Hey! The current view angle is very hard to use in landings. There is any chance that a "VFR" view will be created? I can help to do that, but I need a pic of it.

Please forgive me but I am new to FSX stuff. I am doing my type rating in a 737-200 with the old Sperry 77 and I downloaded this remarkable sim (much thanks to Tinmouse!!!) but I would like the Sperry 77. Can somebody talk me through it? This sim is amazing quality!

Hi guys,I have a big problem with the Tinmouse. Whenever I set up the fuel via the fs inbuild configurator, the tanks will fill up automaticly. When I set, for example, the fuel in both wing tanks to 5000 lbs, the plane will load with that fuel onboard. But as soon as it is loaded, the fuel gauges will start to go up to full and after some seconds the tanks are fully filled again. Don´t know why this happens. I never had any problems with that in other airplanes. Btw. UAC is off and FS running as admin.

Hi,Is it my imagination or has the speed down the runway, as perceived from the cockpit, gotten slower ? Despite the airspeed indicator readings, it looks unrealistically slow at full thrust. Not a biggie, but I'm curious. What do you think ?Jack

Good morning. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the TM to no avail. FSSound.dll is in both the system32 and the wow64 directory. When activating either the trim or the flaps the sounds will not stop. They get stuck in a loop. This is in FSX. Any clues as this is seriously irritating. ;-) Thanx!-Rick

I have added the freeware Garmin KLN90B by Project Tupolev. Its very realistic and I am using it as a backup for the CIVA INS.

Hi Bob,When I'm in cruise mode and using the EPR setting to set speed , the throttle will creep up into "overspeed". Then I'll switch back to the Speed setting which gives me better control. Question is, is this my problem or something inherent in the program ?ThanksJack

Hi everybody. Finally i give up. After several test, there is no way to connect in my FSX either ISG GNS or FMS to SP177 LNAV. I've tried CIVA INS and work great, LNAV annunciator light work fine also. If a push the original NAV/RAD switch in the panel, HSI show wrong data and always the same, no matter the route I load into GNS/FMS. I've checked the panel.cfg entries from Bob and I prepeared my owns variations but the same. My FSUIPC registered copy is v4.25. Any idea???Thanks in advance.Regards/Sebastian/SAAR

HiI would like to use the Tin mouse on Aerosim but some parameters do not correspond...after the engines are runing the light of oil pressure not extinguished...I believe it is necessary to change some parameters in aircraft.cfg..Anyone can give me a little help?

Is this gauge just a dummy? If so, where can one get hold of the real working gauge ?I'm using the reality wx gauge at the moment, but I prefer the looks/layout of the RCA gauge.Trevor

Bob, I am not really sure what happened. I uninstalled a addon I had & it removed the ILH TCAS gauge. I downloaded the V7 from AVSIM & it is working but it is Boeing Brown instead of Boeing Grey. I know my old gauge was grey. I did not change anything in the panel folder or anywhere else. How do I get the grey back. On a similar note, the Transponder knobs do not seem to look right bu I can't figure out what has changed. Any thoughts? I think I am just getting old.Pat

Downloaded the file b732free.zip and made a few mods to the panel cfg and merged it with the Aerosim B732 model (removed VC)Moving yoke on the App view. Topic says it all. :-) Running 1.40 with the 16:9 panel mod. After takeoff and the gear is put up, the red gear warning lights remain on. No hydralic probs and when coming in for landing, all gear function normally and return to green/down and locked status on gear down. Running FSX Accel with SP2. Clues?-Rick

If someone out there has access to a Boeing-Lear PDCS manual, I could use some more detail on the real one, as I am working towards completion of the one Richard Probst started in the original TinMouse. I have several B732 AFMs, but neither has anything on the PDCS.Right now I am leaning on a PDCS that can drive the EPR bugs based on the -9, -15, and -17R (default) variants of the JT8D.
