I am trying to paint an Air Philippines 737-200 for the TinMouse model but I can't seem to find the paint kit. The one provided in the FAQ thread just brings you to an error message. The other person who made another paint kit based off it added it in his website, which is now unavailable. By using the WayBack Machine, the webpage for the download page has 2 archives but the download link itself is not archived. And his last message is back in 2013 so I even doubt he is active today. Can anyone help me please? Thanks!

Hello.

I have installed the TinMouse project, including the panel and updates, but I am running in an error with the fs2audio.dll file. The system is Windows 7 64-bit and I have placed the above file in both the C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folders as the documentation says. But, when I go to load the aircraft I get an error that says "The FS2AUDIO.DLL Failed to load with Error Code 0x7e. Be sure the FS2AUDIO.DLL is in the \Windows\System32 folder then restart the application."

Can anyone tell me what the issue is here?

Gear handle can be moved to Off but when selected down gear will not extend and red lights remain on. Also on some 737s, not all, the anti-skid selectors are OFF and cannot be selected ON. Can somebody please help me with these problems, I have tried everything I can think of with no success. This is a fabulous aircraft but if I can't get it working I won't be able to enjoy it.

	Hi!

I flew the beautiful TinMouse in FS9 several years ago, and was happy when I found out that she is still flying in FSX. I installed the plane yesterday, v1.40, but a funny thing occured. None of the paint textures will show up, and I have done everything exactly as they say in the installation readme. I also reinstalled, trying v1.30 only, but it was just the same. So, that's where I'm at. The aircraft.cfg file is the untouched original one that follows the v1.30 install.

I suppose I have done something wrong, but I can't see what. I run FSX Steam Edition - could that be the problem?

I just had the weirdest thin happen to me while flying, and my throttles were moving all by themselves even if I tried to control them and I wondered what was happening and I found out its autothrotle. I never thought there was an autothrotle in the airplane or even just a switch/nob to turn it on.. I found out by looking at the assignments area of what was set for it and it came up as shift R but maybe some of you have changed it yourself...

then I wondered about how amazing that is and how I had no idea it would work on this aircraft but it did...

but..now I wonder how to set speed, because the two kias gauges have knobs that won't do anything or move the bug, so I don't know how or what speed it was trying to set at..that's the mystery..

anyone know now or is there a fix???

Hi, I've been wanting to ask this for a long time, but I just didn't bother till now, as I didn't consider it to be a problem at all (and still don't, because it isn't one), but curiosity finally prompted me to ask this.

There seems to me to be a difference in the volume (loudness) of the flap sound (the sound of the flaps as they are being raised/lowered, NOT the flap lever sound) between the older TinMouse V 1.26 and the newer V 1.32, which I'm using. Specifically, in the newer V 1.32, the flap sound is not quite as loud as in the older V 1.26. And I've always been curious as to why the flap sound volume in the newer version has been lowered, compared to the older version. I am guessing the lower volume in the newer version more closely resembles what you'd hear in the real cockpit, compared to the louder volume in the older version, is that the case? Again, this is just a curiosity of mine, not a problem or an issue.

	Thank you!

Hello: I just installed the V1.30 for FSX. I am running FSX-SE on Windows 10. Never used FSX so it is a clean install. I followed all the directions for installing V1.30 plus updates 1.3l and 1.32. Everything works except the panel sounds. Engine sounds are perfect. I get the following messages: before the panel loads -- Invalid XGS path. Error code 0x80070057

File Error One or more Xact Project files could not be located at the specified location.

At this point the panel loads, going through all the mini panels. Then the next messages reads: Tinmouse Eror No active audio device.

I click OK and it goes away. Everything now works except the panel switch sounds. I have read some of the posts here but they all seem to indicate corrections for FS9 on a Windows 7 system. Is there a correction for Windows 10 with FSX-SE?

Hi,

I have logged 137 flight hours with Tinmouse 737 and I noticed that during more than half flights after take off, the aircraft became uncontrollable and close to stall despite using elevator trim and yoke. In this case, the aircraft goes up 6000+ ft/min and 6000+ ft/min down both with and/or without A/P engaged.

Situation : Using FS9, win 7 64, CH yoke & pedals properly calibrated.

Having read the manual for a solution, I found that somewhere quotes a proper aircraft load helps to take control of it.

If this is the case, I 'd appreciate if someone would have presented me the proper way to load it in the aircraft.cfg load section.

Hello, Gentlemen!

I like the original 737-s in reality, IMHO it is one of the great birds of the late 1960-es, along with DC-9, Tu-154, Il-62, 747 and others. I always wanted to fly it in FS, and one day, I realized, that there is such a good, highly detailed model of this plane.

So, I have installed the Tinmouse II 737, and I loved this model.

But I have some problems with it. It would be really nice, to solve them and fly the plane with only pleasant remarks.

First of all, the stabilizer trim is VERY fast. I think my passngers are flying up and down around the cabin with their seatbelts still fastened Really, a single, hardly-felt 0.1-second click already shifts the trim a few units. I just keep trying to fly as soft and carefully, as I can, and still imagine myself in these possible g-loads.

Also there is an issue with the CWS. (I think it is one of the direct consequences of the trimming problem) It is too agressive. I have to stop the rotation at the point, where I want it to stop, applying sufficient counter-pressure to the yoke, if I just release it the plane will continue to rotate rapidly for a few more seconds.

One time, I was lucky (I have no idea of how did I get this) to have the normal-speed trim, just for a traffic pattern, and then a short trial flight to another local airport. I was surprised about how smooth can this aircraft really be, both in CWS and with hands.

Is there any way to keep it this slow, exept the registered FSUIPC settings?

I am using a wide panel, introduced in version 1.40, and many lamps and lights there are misplaced. I've seen a topic with the corrected locations for the speedbrake and marker lights, but they are placed completely incorrectly, while there are many other lights (I can say most of them, on the front panel), that are shifted slightly over their bitmaps, making the text hardly readable. Are there any corrected panel config sections? I am not good at all in panel building, so I would not like the idea to find and fix them myself, if there are any ready solutions availible.

The red gear lights are illuminated all the time, while the gear are up. It is not normal, is that?

What can I do with this? I don't want to go to the old 4:3 panel :(

P.S Are the incompleted points of the 1.32 wish-list still topical? Are there any plans for a new visual model in some version, or some fixes to the current one, if its source materials are still avalible? It would be nice, for example, to have an ability to open the doors and hatches on the starboard side, and control the aft door independently from the stairs, and the flat flight-attendants near the exits sometimes look annoying, also it would be nice to have an ability to remove them.

P.P.S Sorry, I can't upload the file here (don't know why, it just fails), I am talkng about this photo: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Boeing_737-2V6_Advanced_Cockpit_Dubai_Air_Show_Ryabtsev.jpg?uselang=ru

Who knows, what is the CDU in the top-left corner of the pedestal for? Is it an INS? Or some other type of long-range navigation?

And what is located to the left of it, on the captain's panel?

Thank You for your assistance, everyone!

Sorry for my English,

Best regards

Facts about the VC:

- Started out as a WIP from Erick Cantu, but got nearly 100% redone in the process

- Full Tin Mouse panel integration*

- Usability enhancements (door controls, extended lighting controls)

- Wipers!

- Rudder pedals that double as brake pedals (visually)

- More here and there

And this is what it'll wear on the outside:

Facts:

- Made from Erick Cantu's 737-200Adv model published as source files

- Remapped fuselage and engines

- Full body 2048²px textures (FS9 limited to 1024px²) for the above

- Night lighting controllable independently

- NO compatiblity to exisiting repaints

More:

- There's still some things to be done

- Release 29/2/2015

- "True" FSX model to follow (someday)

- Gravel kit model is a future option

- Nightmarish installation

- Paintkit in .xcf (GIMP) formatting

If anyone wants to help out with repaints and/or better textures, give me a shout.

*Sans extras like the CIVA INS or RXP radar or TCAS. These can be integrated by anyone with a texture edit and a panel.cfg mod though.

(I have put the dll file into the Windows/System32 and the Windows\SysWOW64 folders - I run Win7 x64), but that is proving difficult, believe it or not...

According to DirectX Diag, I have DirectX 11, but I gather I need v9.0c for the dll file to work? I read that DX11 is fine for FS9 so long as FS9 is not installed in the main Programs/Programs (x86) folders, which mine is... Also read that DX9.0 should already be on my PC somewhere (I know that the various versions are separate, like Microsoft.NET, not updates) but I can't locate it, if so.

How do I update or install DX9.0c? All the links I click on (including the one in the FAQ - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en) lead me to a Microsoft page preparing me to install Windows 10 (no thanks!), rather than anything to do with DirectX!!

Could anyone kindly advise further on this issue and, if I do need to install DX9.0c, post a link to the latest version? I downloaded a file dxwebsetup.exe, 308kb, which purports to be DirectX web setup, but running it, while looking promising ("Welcome to setup for DirectX"), does nothing: I get 'Installation Complete" immediately - nothing installs (and FS2Audio.dll still gives me 0x7e error.). The download was from here:

I'm tempted to go back to v1.2 of the plane (with the wav files in the gauge folder)! What with all the other issues I have had with flaps etc., I am at my wits end with this aircraft!! I only persist due to the obvious quality of the software (and the perhaps naive belief that it will come right in the end!).

Thanks.

//-----------------------//

LATER: I found the package here, finally:

I get no .dll error now and the sounds seem to be working in the a/c. We'll see if the problem is permanently fixed, as I try the a/c over the next few days! Still need to get the flaps working with my Saitek X52.

Hope this helps someone else...
