I just had the weirdest thin happen to me while flying, and my throttles were moving all by themselves even if I tried to control them and I wondered what was happening and I found out its autothrotle. I never thought there was an autothrotle in the airplane or even just a switch/nob to turn it on.. I found out by looking at the assignments area of what was set for it and it came up as shift R but maybe some of you have changed it yourself... then I wondered about how amazing that is and how I had no idea it would work on this aircraft but it did... but..now I wonder how to set speed, because the two kias gauges have knobs that won't do anything or move t…

Hi, I've been wanting to ask this for a long time, but I just didn't bother till now, as I didn't consider it to be a problem at all (and still don't, because it isn't one), but curiosity finally prompted me to ask this. There seems to me to be a difference in the volume (loudness) of the flap sound (the sound of the flaps as they are being raised/lowered, NOT the flap lever sound) between the older TinMouse V 1.26 and the newer V 1.32, which I'm using. Specifically, in the newer V 1.32, the flap sound is not quite as loud as in the older V 1.26. And I've always been curious as to why the flap sound volume in the newer version has been lowered, compared to the older…

Hello: I just installed the V1.30 for FSX. I am running FSX-SE on Windows 10. Never used FSX so it is a clean install. I followed all the directions for installing V1.30 plus updates 1.3l and 1.32. Everything works except the panel sounds. Engine sounds are perfect. I get the following messages: before the panel loads -- Invalid XGS path. Error code 0x80070057 File Error One or more Xact Project files could not be located at the specified location. At this point the panel loads, going through all the mini panels. Then the next messages reads: Tinmouse Eror No active audio device. I click OK and it goes away. Everything now works excep…

Hi, I have logged 137 flight hours with Tinmouse 737 and I noticed that during more than half flights after take off, the aircraft became uncontrollable and close to stall despite using elevator trim and yoke. In this case, the aircraft goes up 6000+ ft/min and 6000+ ft/min down both with and/or without A/P engaged. Situation : Using FS9, win 7 64, CH yoke & pedals properly calibrated. Having read the manual for a solution, I found that somewhere quotes a proper aircraft load helps to take control of it. If this is the case, I 'd appreciate if someone would have presented me the proper way to load it in the aircraft.cfg load section.

Hello, Gentlemen! I like the original 737-s in reality, IMHO it is one of the great birds of the late 1960-es, along with DC-9, Tu-154, Il-62, 747 and others. I always wanted to fly it in FS, and one day, I realized, that there is such a good, highly detailed model of this plane. So, I have installed the Tinmouse II 737, and I loved this model. But I have some problems with it. It would be really nice, to solve them and fly the plane with only pleasant remarks. First of all, the stabilizer trim is VERY fast. I think my passngers are flying up and down around the cabin with their seatbelts still fastened Really, a single, hardly-felt 0.1-second click already shi…

Well, you've (nearly) got one. Facts about the VC: - Started out as a WIP from Erick Cantu, but got nearly 100% redone in the process - Full Tin Mouse panel integration* - Usability enhancements (door controls, extended lighting controls) - Wipers! - Rudder pedals that double as brake pedals (visually) - More here and there And this is what it'll wear on the outside: Facts: - Made from Erick Cantu's 737-200Adv model published as source files - Remapped fuselage and engines - Full body 2048²px textures (FS9 limited to 1024px²) for the above - Night lighting controllable independently - NO compatiblity to exisiting repaints …

Hello,I recently started using the 737-200 and I enjoy this aircraft very much. Its level of visual realism and detail surpasses many payware aircraft I have seen. Unfortunately I'm having a great difficulty flying this bird. This includes 3 problems that I am having:-My altitude hold selector on the Sperry 77 A/P wont hold my altitude. This is not a "How do you use the autopilot question" because I believe what I am doing is right, but I could be wrong. I have much experience flying the old birds with similar autopilots such as the 707, 727, DC-8, and DC-9 aircraft. To get the altitude hold "engaged" I climb the aircraft manually to the altitude, and just upon reaching t…

I am attempting to update my TM installation, but now have problems. Yes, I have read the FAQ and I see I am supposed to update my DirectX.. (I have put the dll file into the Windows/System32 and the Windows\SysWOW64 folders - I run Win7 x64), but that is proving difficult, believe it or not... According to DirectX Diag, I have DirectX 11, but I gather I need v9.0c for the dll file to work? I read that DX11 is fine for FS9 so long as FS9 is not installed in the main Programs/Programs (x86) folders, which mine is... Also read that DX9.0 should already be on my PC somewhere (I know that the various versions are separate, like Microsoft.NET, not updates) but I can't loca…

Hello all! First, I wish to (belatedly) express my sincere thanks for this wonderful airplane -- what a joy! Second, I am a complete novice when it comes to repaints, so in answering my question, please point out things you might think are otherwise obvious. I tried searching around for help with my issue before posting, but couldn't find anything. I've been working on a Zambia Airways repaint for the TinMouse. My starting point is the paint kit downloaded from Avsim, and I'm using GIMP as my painting tool. I've gotten through a decent amount of progress, and after exporting the .bmps I can see that my computer in general recognizes them as such: repaint folder …

The pdf says that pressing this 'hidden' button when the INS unit is on and the Mode Index reads zero will enable 'Immediate Alignment Mode'. But what does that mean in practice? My PI number still slowly (oh, so, SO slowly) descends from 9 to reach a green 'Ready' light at '5': the 'Immediate Alignment' is clearly not working. Is it my fault? I have the a/c with APU running & APU generators on, parking brakes set, INS on in standby and the MI figure shows '0'. I have tried switching to 'Align' mode, and I have tried pressing the Immediate Alignment 'screw' before and after I load a flight paln via the ADEU. But nothing works. I really would prefer not to sit for …

Ok, I confess my ignorance! Is this supposed to remain on the nose wheel the whole time? The texture file (F1_B732_F1_T.bmp) indicates, with a little arrow 'For hush kit only' - the hush kit's on the engine though, not on the nose wheel!). It seems a bit close to the ground, whatever! Oddly, only one of the liveries I have installed in the TinMouse 732 shows it - and even if I use one of the other livery texture folders for this a/c (change entry for texture= in the aircraft.cfg file to a different one), it's still there - although it is not present on the aircraft to which that texture folder properly belongs. I have also tried every model available, and it's st…

Somewhere in one of the pdf files, I am sure I read that you can set the autopilot (I have the SP177 version + Civa) to follow an FS9 flight plan, rather than have to programme the INS system with all those waypoints. How do you do that? (Sorry if this is a naive question - I haven't used the Civa INS for many years and have apparently forgotten many aspects of how it works, or doesn't!). Currently, I cannot get LNAV (in GPS mode) in the SP177 to work; the green light is on, but the a/c does not track the flight plan. I assumed that that was because I had not set any waypoints into the INS system - to be honest, for long journeys with many waypoints, I'd rather omit t…

I have my saitek evo set to control flap extension and retraction. When I click the button to extend them, the indicator moves to the next position, and then immediately returns to zero. If I use F7, it behaves normally. My saitek setting has worked for every other aircraft in my hangar, so what's up with the 737?? Thanks.

Excuse my ignorance if this has already been addressed.Myself and several others w/ Saitek Throttle Quadrants are having an issue where we can't use the Saitek Throttle Quandrant for setting the flaps w/ the Tin Mouse II.The throtte quandrant works fine with any other aircraft (payware or freeware) so I don't think it is a setting issues with the Saitek Throttle Quandrant. When moving the lever up, the flaps go to 1 degree then immedately back to 0.Any ideas?

I've noticed that when the main tanks pumps are off and the lights on, pressing the Master Caution light does not turn it out or extinguish the Fuel light on the six-pack. As far as I can remember (I've got 2100 hours on the real 737-200) it should at least reset the Master caution light. Also, when you do the fire test, the fire warning light does not illuminate as it should. Just wondering if these are anomolies due to some limitations of FS9?

Hello. I do not know previously had a similar theme or not, but decided to announce that in the Avsim library is available airplane model DC- 7 for FS2004 / FSX (with name of the archive "dc7c-kmtggc.zip"), which contains old and no colored weather radar. I liked this weather radar model, it works well. Now I have not the opportunity to try to install this weather radar into TM v 1.4. But if someone else will set the model of weather radar please tell Your opinion about this radar, and how to print it into the panel cfg. And else I propose to begin a discussion about weather radar from the archive dc7c-kmtggc.zip in this topic- You are welcome

Hallo, I have installed the Tinmouse Boeing in the Steamversion of FSX. I can fly the aircraft "as normal", but the panel and the gauges do not show up. I do not (yet) have fsuipc installed, but that can not cause the panel not loading I guess...? Can this be a problem of the Steam-version? Treiner
