I've seen references everywhere to Flight Idle, but I can't find which value is this? Is this an EPR, N1, N2 or fuel flow value? Or is just a throttle position (I can't recall seeing any marking in the pedestal). I've seen it's around 50-55%N1 for the 727, but which value is for the 732?

I use FS Real Time which will change the sim time when crossing time zones. Changing the time of day in the sim ... the (pop-up) Clock time is not updated .. remains the old time .. from when the flight was first started. The manual allows onlt the seconds to be changed .. correct?

Setting Cabin altitude for the TinmouseII? I am not clear on this based on the checklist and the manual. Not sure how it (cabin pressurization) works in the real aircraft either. I am guessing it might be like this: Is the CAB ALT set three times? 1. Before start set to current field elevation? 2. During climb reset to "desired" (e.g. 5000 or 7000 feet) CAB ALT for today's cruise 27000 or 35000 feet? 3. During descent reset to landing field altitude?

I currently have one INS unit/CDU/ADEU/UpdateFlags, installed. Can the one ADEU unit be used once to load 9 flight plan waypoints (.AWC file) and then used again to load 9 VORs for updating (.ADC files)? Or, for example, do I possibly have to have two INS units ... one for the flight plan and one for the PI VOR updating? I do not want flight plan waypoints overwritten during flight when I am DME updating. .

  9. Started by vonmar,

CIVA INS startup state. I am using the ADEU card reader to enter all flight plan waypoints and VORs (for PI updating). I have noticed that some lat/lon's are saved and some are not saved from the previous flight. 1. the POS is saved. 2. all 9 of the lat/lon from the previous ADC (VORs) are still present. 3. all 9 of the previous flight plan waypoints (ADE) are cleared (not saved). Is this normal? Is there a way to clear all the previous ADC (VOR) 1 thru 9 lat / lon's?

Hi every one, Sorry for this long post. Not new to this forum but its been a long time. First of all I have searched this forum and the ISG forum almost top to bottom for a solution to this problem but to no avail, took me a few days. I think I have seen an explanation for this problem but cant remember where and when. I have the isg panel rework for the Tinmouse(EHSI,EHSI control, default FMS, MFD) installed in my FSX version of the Tinmouse ( love the aircraft). Upon first load and fligth preparation the course select knob on the EHSI control gauge operates properly -course display digits on the sperry 177 moves 1 degree pers click. however after a few minutes or…

There is a spoiler annunciator light on the 2D panel and it lights up for the "all lights" test. Should it light e.g. prior to takeoff if I deploy the spoilers to see if they are working?

Hello everyone, I wonder if there is a way that I can integrate a nice 737-200 wing view to the Tinmouse 732. For example, is there a way that one can add the Kittyhawk 737-200's wingview to this bird ? Thanks a lot! Peter

I've tried looking through the manuals, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm an enthusiastic cockpit builder, and I often work with the OpenCockpits Output cards. They read data from offsets to power LEDs, Servos, etc. The manual mentions some of the offsets, mainly for autobrakes, flaps, etc. Is there a list of ALL the offsets somewhere? Thanks

Hi, I just installed TM2 V1.30 and the V1.31 and 1.32 updates Run it on a Win7 and FS2004 platform. I did a test flight, everything seems normal during the flight. Until when I was on a final approach on a APP mode for an ILS landing. I disconnect the A/P and A/T at 1000feet, and continue the approach in manual. I'm sure that all lights at the MCP is off. When I did correction by using elevator input, the airplane behaves erratically weird. It's like having a sidewind, and then its gone, and then downdraft, and then sidewind again. Sudden nose up and nose down in a way that the weather is clear. I could hear the trim sound, so I assume the trim corrects itself to my ailer…

  18. Just spend the last couple of weeks migrating FS9 from a old WinXP Pro 32-bit system to a new Win 7 64-bit following the advice in the thread "Migrating fs9 from WinXP 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit....". The process went resonably well with only about a half dozen mostly minor problems. Two of those problems, however, are major ones that will cause me to go back to the XP Pro system, where FS9 runs in single digit FPS rates if they can't be resolved. One of the two is that one of my all time favorite FS9 aircraft, the TinMouse II 737-200 locks FS9 up when I try to switch tot he 2D panel view! I can load a saved flight using the TinMouse but if I try to switch to the p…

How to work with DME hold/norm/o'ride/stby functions? I fly with FSInn, and added vasFMC gauges for Boeing CDU. Is there any information on how to tune those radios, in TinMouse panel there are many gauges for radio/nav and I have no idea if any work properly. For example when tuning 2 radios simultaneously morse code identifier mixes and unreadable. I want to set courses, or use auto-tune function. What does it mean to switch DME Hold to Norm or O'ride to StandBY. Thanks. P.S. Please advise what happends when these various functions are implemented and how to use it?

  25. Hello, again. Please find here below some questions I would really need somebody to answer them: 1) Do you find it really difficult to slow down this a/c on the Final APP segment or APP segment if the GS was caught from the above? Note: Even with speedbrakes deployed, flaps 10, and gear down, if I am one notch above the GS (supposing Precision Approach), the speed won't decrease. Instead, it will increase progressively up to 250-270 IAS. How can you slow it down if you are above the vertical path to the runway? 2) The gear will sometimes extend during APP at the same speed or not. I'm talking here about 160 KT. Any help? Thanks a lot!.
