Hey. I wanna add Lee Hetherington's TCAS to my panel. I know that there is a config with TCAS, but this config is for ISG+TCAS, and I do not own ISG package. So someone has TCAS configuration for the basic SP177 panel? Thanks.

Hello Col. Scott,You knew someone was going to ask this question sooner or later! :( I have the GoFlight MCP Pro (yes..more money than sense, and considering how much money I really have, that's puts me well down on the "sense" ladder as well). I would very much like to use the MCP Pro to drive the new Sperry 177 autopilot. Are there any key commands or offsets programed that allow external devices to drive the knobs and buttons on the Sperry 177 other than the course knob and the heading knob? Those two knobs are controlable through MSFS.Once again, thanks a great Christmas present!!! :)Rich

Bob,First, let me congratulate you. I downloaded the FSX TM last night, took a 20 minute hop in the pattern at IAD and was truly impressed. Put another hour or so in it today, and am vedry grateful for your contribution to the community and for providing a fantastic add on. I don't normally post regarding add on's, but your TM made me do it. :( I was just wondering... Will the great FS9 repaints work on the FSX version?

I downloaded the TM2 for FS9 and following the install instructions placed the FS2Audio.dll in WINDOWS/System32 folder. Please note that there are several subfolders in System32. I did not place the .dll in any of them. It is in System32 Folder. I ran dxdiag and found my DirectX version is 9.0c (after reading in a separate thread that updating DirectX fixed this issue for the posting party). When I went to the Microsoft Update Site I read that 9.0c is the latest version for my system, a Gateway 825GM running Windows XP SP3.I thought restarting the system may correct it, but no joy. Do I have to update my 9.0c to a higher version (10 or 11) which I would rather not do …

Hi all, Like the update. Would really like to adjust the volume on some of the sound files. If you can't edit them directly, how do you do it indirectly? I know it hast some thing to do with the Microsoft Directx SDK. Thanks.Pat Callaghan

Hi,I installed the 1.3 version for FS9 and I have the following error message when loading the plane :Invalid XGS PathPlease contact support and quote error code 0x80070057Any ideas? Thanks,OlivierPS: This is fixed - in the readme, it says to copy the sounds file in the "FSX\sounds folder" so I thought this was FSX specific - copying the sound files in the FS9\sounds folder did the trick. Also, thanks a million for this update!!

The TinMouse 1.3 B737-200 works very well in FSX! Is was a long-waited and much missed aircraft in FSX. Thanks, again, to those who did make this possible.Yet there is something that would turn this wonderful panel even better - a modification to widescreen monitors! I wish I had the knowledge to do it but I wonder whether there is someone that could do it! Any takers?Merry Christmas!

As I'd mentioned in this post here: http://forum.avsim.n...7-modification/ I have been working on a version 2.0 release of my Tinmouse II Sperry 177 panel modification. Today I've completed this modification, and uploaded both to AVSIM and FlightSim for download. I made a slight error in the installation instructions which I am correcting with both AVSIM and FlightSim, so until that's been fixed (expecting about a week or less) I've opted to upload this modification for you to download now. Click HERE to download the Sperry 177 Panel Modification Version 2.0 The features of this newer version include: * Actual Sperry 177 layout and functionality* Corrections for full…

Hello Bob, As suggested on the fs2004 forum, I updated my directx. It has now come up with another error code 0x80070057. When I select an aircraft ie. Tinmouse, the plane appears in the preview window but when you press the "flybutton" the plane just keeps circling in the preview window. ThanksBarry

Hi all,Actually I opened almost the same topic months ago but I couldn't get answer that would be help for the problem.Problem is;While descening, speed breaks doesn't support slowing down the plane neither "flight detend" nor "full open" position. Generally I'm calculating descent rate by 1800fpm but sometimes ATC gives new orders that I must be cross at any point or expedite descent (in VATSIM). Even I keep 1800fpm vertical speed (thrust in iddle) plane doesn't slowing down to 250IAS or below. When I open speed breaks, there is no effect on speed. I checked the speed breaks , are they open or not in physically by spot view, they are works as well.(deploy position). If I …

Version 1.30 of the TinMouse II will be released this week. This year's Christmas release includes the two most requested improvements to the panel--compatibility with FSX, and the addition of a completely-integrated SP-177 analog autopilot and autothrottle system, as well as other incremental improvements to the panel. This is a major update--FSX broke a lot of things in the original panel, most especially the panel sound system, which was deeply integrated into the FS9 code. Bryan York, of FS2Crew fame, was kindly generous enough to permit free use of his FS2Crew audio package in the panel to solve the big problems with panel sound incompatibilities with FSX.The new SP…

The two great additions to my flight simming this year have been the Tinmouse and Radar Contact. It'll be great to have an FSX version, thanks Bob!When I started using Radar Contact it seems I lost all protection from AI airplanes on the ground. I sometimes had to dodge them before, but now they are after me from all sides it seems -- because I'm no longer signed into the MS ATC system I suppose; but freelancing it around the airport from the MS point of view.Whether you use RC or not, blind and/or crazy AI pilots are an unrealistic menace to all simmers, and it seems they get even more crazed when you've just completed a long, interesting flight and are headed for your…

If there is anyone taking repaint requests for the TinMouse 737-200 I've got one! I understand that before Air New Zealand retired its fleet of 737-200s several were given the airline's new(est?) livery. Such a repaint is available for another 737-200 model, but not the TinMouse...

I have just come back to this wonderful panel and plane and have done all the updates as well as adding the new Sperry 177 autopilot. I am having a problem tuning #1 ADF, When I click to change the frequency the numbers will change however they roll back to the default setting of 100.00. I'm not sure what is happening. :(

Hello All,First, I'd like to express my sincere gratitude for this absolutely BRILLIANT air plane! What a lot of work has obviously gone into this project and what an exceptional piece of freeware!! Having logged around 1,000 hours in a RW B722 and over 500 in the FS version behind Richard Probst's panel, this 732 fits me like a favorite pair of comfortable slippers. Glass cockpits and FMCs bore me...............I do have a transient issue with the INS/AP interface, which is quite likely finger trouble....the only reference to this I could find was on an old post where the poster said he solved the issue by downloading update 1.24 (I think). I have no problem whatsoever p…

Hi,I have used this plane for a couple of weeks and I would like to send a big thanks to the people behind it.Not only this plane is complete and realistic, it is also a joy to use. There is something great about using this package. It seems there has been some very good thinking behind the design and I really love it.Doing full approaches/Departure with the charts is something really fun.Happy flying,Olivier

Hey guys,Couldnt find any posts on this in the forum so appologies if it has already been covered, just working on making an Aviogenex panel, which is relatively true to the R/W aircraft which from the videos I've seen seems to be fitted with the Sandel HSI and ST3400 on the pedestal. The ST3400 seems to be responsible for the GPWS onboard the aircraft. The only problem is when I have fitted the ST3400 to the panel it always reads 10' with the aircraft on the ground so my final touches to the flare have to be at the 20' callout. Does anyone know what I would have to modify so that the gauge would read the aircraft at 0' for touchdown making the GPWS callout work better?Ki…

HI,I have a problem with the pitch.I takeoff and fly manually until the flaps are retracted.Once i am at a pitch that allows for the desired speed, I turn on the autopilot. I am at around 3000 FPM when I do that. I then watch the plane slowly decreasing its pitch. I use the yoke to correct this, but if I pull gently, the the plane goes up and down again, if I pull harder it will clim like a rocket until it stalls.I understood how the AP works and I do not want to use the Sperry 177 - I set quite a large null zone (as mentionned on this forum) on my joystick, but it still does not work. I even set a super large null zone, but it did not help.Would you have a clue?thanks!Ol…

Turns out there's a user on YouTube who has posted a number of videos of a Boeing 737-200, which appears to be a modification of the Tinmouse II including a functional Sperry 177 FCU, a forced-perspective overhead, a T2CAS-style terrain/WX display, a VSI/TCAS, a "landing view" panel addition and a number of other smaller modifications. His YouTube name is "edetroit" and he is apparently unwilling to share his modifications with the virtual flying public. Here's a sample of one of his videos.. does anyone recognize the guages used for the Sperry 177? Perhaps someone here has a connection with edetroit? One thing is for certain.. his modifications are superb, and his vide…

First of all, a big THANK YOU for this wonderful airplane and panel. I love to fly classic jets and I so appreciate the effort that goes into creating all this work and providing it to the flight sim community for free.I, too, would love to see this airplane in FSX. So much so that I'll be happy to adapt the panel if the folks that are managing the code would like. If you are interested in this offer, contact me - dutch (at) fscaptain.net.I love Richard Probst's panels. He generously provided source code for his B727 panel and so I adapted it to FSX. The main problem was sound since FSSound.dll is not FSX compatible. I changed the code to use GaugeSound.dll which wo…
