I would appreciate a bit of help as I cannot get the CIVA unit to work, I am following the manual instructions but whatever I enter as far as the lat/long I get the red error light on and the green ready light never appears after I switch from stand by to AlignEven entering my position on stand with the brakes on taken from a shift+Z induces an error light. I have read all the pdf files in the CIVA directory but I am no further forward. As per the shift Z lat/long my stand position is N51*9.30, W0*10.14 entering either of these with one press of the insert button in between immediately gives a red error light. I have read that this error light is probably due to the CIVA n…

First let me say that I love the new 1.1. The PDCS works great and I'm looking forward to using the INS (as soon as I study up on how!! ;-) . I am having 2 small problems...one of which, I think, you'll tell me is the "nature of the MSFS beast". I should note here that I had V 1.0 and followed the instructions to upgrade to V 1.1, in case I may have done something wrong regarding the first, "Throttle trim", problem. The V 1.1 "throttle trim" is not working for me. If I understand correctly, I should be able to click the "+" or "-" clickspots, on the lower left of EPR gauge #1 (which I do see when I hover my cursor over them} and I should see a fine reduction or increase i…

I am a firm believer in the adage; "If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it!". However, my curiosity has been aroused.I have noticed that the Sudan Airways (model PGK) aircraft is the only one that lowers the airstair and opens the Main exit when pressing the Shift + E buttons without using the 1 or 2 selections. This is a nice feature in that the Rear cargo door does not open, unless one presses Shift + E, then 2 or Shift E + 1, then 2. I realize that one wouldn't want the airstair to deploy if the aircraft is at a Gate. If there is a disire to have the Rear exit to open, an airstair should be available for that exit/entrance.Having stated thus; Here are questions for the…

I seem to remember that in v1 the engine smoke effect was generated automatically but I may be getting confused with another aircraft! In v1.1 I have to toggle the smoke on or off with the 'i' key. Am I right in thinking this is a change to the panel, or is it a setting on my system that I've changed inadvertantly?I generally use the kittyhawk aircraft but it is the same with the tinmouse.Regards, Ian

First of all,Congrats for such a superb aircraft,it's really great to have the old 737-200 finally modelled with all system details&functionality.Just one question:Any chance in a later release for a edition with a different ADI.The classical ball-shaped one with a 2cue-FD?Like the one here:http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0805...=COCKPIT&size=LI think it was used quite a lot and even already in the old -100 version, with lufthansa for example.Any just a question, and it would be really great to have that kind of ADi available as well, but if not,no prob, Greetings,Corey

After bothering Bob Scott endlessly about the INS system and thanks to his attention to me I have finally mastered it. But I have way to go with the operation of the plane itself. It suits an old B*****dvery well. For your considerable effort Bob I feel I must add my deep appreciation of your ( and others ) efforts on behalf of me and all the other users of this fine airplane.I purchased the Level D 767 and thought that it was the ultimate experience, but since the Tinmouse burst on the scene I find the Tinmouse to be the most involving airplane in existence. Thanks Bob and " more power to your elbow "Peter

Hi, I have a problem with the Tinmouse ver-2 panel: the Alt indicator and the EPR indicators are covered by a red rectangle and i have not found the solution to revove them. I use a registered FSUIPC (last revision).http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/155507.jpgMarco Spada - Roma.

There are five numbers in the ADF window, not including the decimal point. I can change the first two and the last two OK but I can't find a hotspot to click to change the centre number. Can anyone give me a clue, please?Ian

As far as I can tell I have the Terry Gaff model. When I left click the door light on the ovrhd panel the door opens. But then with a right click, there is no airstair door (which is no prop for me), but the spoilers pop up. In the air, the spoilers don't operate with the clicks. However in the air, if I drag the spoiler handle to raise the spoilers, then I cannot lower them. Any ideas?thanks,

Since installing version 1.1 when landing the autobrake either goes to inop straight away or works for around 2 seconds and then goes to inop, is anyone else having this problem? Also is there an OAT readout anywhere on the panel, I can't find it anywhere. Many thanks.

Been doing some work on my reverser issue. After doing a bunch of tests, here is what I am seeing:1. The repeating sound is "speed brake deploy"2. If I land with speed brakes down, when I engage reverse thrust, the speed brakes remain down, but I get the "speed brake deploy" sound looping. If I raise speed brake, I get speed brake deployment and the sound stops (still reverse thrust on).3. If I land with speed brakes armed, on touchdown I get the speed brake deploy sound, but speed brakes go (stay) down. When I engage reversers, I get the looping deploy sound.4. In either case (speed brakes down or armed), after touch down if I manually deploy speed brakes, I get f…

From the v1 patch 2 and after, I experience trim problems on landing. The problem is the following:When I'm down the glideslop I decelarate to catch the Vref speed for the landing. Until 20 knots above the Vref, the airplane can be trimmed just fine. But when decelarating further down to Vref, the trim cant compensate the low speed and isn't able to maintain the correct aircraft attitude, because it (the trim) reaches it limit nose-up position. This happens even in hand-flying or in autopilot: from a speed of about 20 knots above Vref and down to Vref, the trim tabs reach their extreme final positions, so the airplane cannot maintain a correct pitch attitude and I am force…

Bob,Thank you for furthering the development of the excellent Tinmouse panel! I have a very minor suggestion, which I hope will not be interpreted in the wrong way.The v1.1 update incorporates the recent colour modifications to the overhead panel, which are fine. However, two switches in the panel are still using a different background bitmap (in the gauge), which make them stand out a little. If you could possibly edit the battery switch and the galley switch to match the background that would be excellent. ;) Thanks again.

Having installed version 1.1, I notice that the flaps indicator does not animate either when using the assigned buttons on my CH yoke or by using the standard function keys. When viewed in tower mode, you can see the flaps move.Did I miss something in the setup?ThanksDom

Hi GuysThanks for creating this great Boeing 737-200 !!!!With the new v1.1 of the TinMouse project Terry Gaff also released a pack with the models (tinmouse2_b732_modelpack.zip). However this model pack is still carrying the original Gravel Kit model (size 1815394 bytes). I am using a newer PGK model dated July 3rd (size 2075392) which I think was released in one of the patches for v1.0 which is no longer available.I just wanted to bring your attention to this as I already have the new version of the PGK model but others might not have it. Is there any reason for removing the updated PGK model or did just forget to include the new one in tinmouse2_b732_modelpack.zip ?Rega…

Just finished my first flight from KSEA to KBOI @ FL 330. The plane performed to book values. EPR settings, Ref speeds, pcds values, everthing was bang on. I don't know about fuel flows, as I can't find any material to compare it to. I have just one question though, I noticed in the fuel load that the right tip tank has only 6.7lbs is this normal?. This has to be one of the best freeware addons out there, rivals even most commercial addons. Thanks guys

I'm happly flying around your new model in the virtual skyes and obviously some questions and doubts arouse.I don't know exactly how far is PDCS modeled but I configured it fr the weather conditions and the weights through the LOAD page during my cockpit preparation.itI entered my INDEX (does the index, which I suppose is what we Airbus drivers call COST INDEX, have any effect in the PCDS at this stage?) and figured out my max EPR (I performed a flex takeoff due to sufficent rwy lenght and climb gradient). Is there any other feature to be considered/set during preparation that I'm not aware of (VREF, TRIP, FUEL... pages??).After takeoff, at thr-red altitude I engage the CL…

Hi guys,This may or may not be an issue, but when once unzipped, it appears that there's no "panel.B732ADV" folder in the "fsfsconv" folder. As a result, if unzipped straight into the FS9 folder as per the readme, all the panel files just end up in the "fsfconv" folder.Of course those of us with a previous version installed can just copy into the correct location and overwrite as necessary, but new users may not be aware of it.Anyway just thought I'd mention it in case anyone was having problems.Regards,
