Hello Tinmouse fans,When trying to fly the tinmouse with the Civa INS, I was not able to put in the pos. coordinates (only the longitude, not the latitude). Can someone help me in using this navigation system together with the fantastic tinmouse?Regards,Wolfgang

Just to up date the previous, I checked the fuel page and missing small fuel tank to tell the panel if it is using the Tinmouse of FFX model. I'm sure it was there before (how many times have you heard that one!) but will check further. Could it be it thinks its using the FFX model?RegardsPaul

Here's what's new in V1.2 of the TinMouse II1. Implemented proper windmilling behavior for dead, non-seized engines. Come to think of it, windmilling behavior for a seized engine is correct as well. This is progress towards engine failure and airstart modeling in future versions.2. More refinement of engine start sequence, including delay between fuel flow and lightoff, and less rapid EGT rise for normal starts.3. Major re-write of spoiler control logic. Right-click on the spoiler handle, or click on the spoiler armed light will arm/de-arm the spoiler handle, and auto-deploy for ground spoilers also refined. Spoilers constrained from deploying until -0.25 deg pitch…

Do I need version 1.1 before using 1.2? Im still getting problems with the spoilers. I cant right click on the spoiler handle, plus when I arm them and land, I still only get the too small flight spoilers to extend and not all the spoilers.Any insight on this? Thanks,Bill

Bob et al,If any of you are interested, and have not already done so yet, I've doctored the panel bitmap just enough to accommodate Lee Hetherington

Hi, I love the panel and visual model of the 737-200. Now is there a way to have the perfect looking 737-200 and use a simpler 737-200 panel and have the spoilers work like most other FS aircrafts? Obviuously when I land and the spoilers extend, not all the spoilers are extended. Is there something I could do to fix this, or will the next version 1.2 fix the spoiler issue? Thanks,Bill

A little repaint I have been working on:-) http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a188/trulsp/LN-TUA_1.jpghttp://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a188/trulsp/LN-TUA_2.jpghttp://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a188/trulsp/LN-TUA_3.jpghttp://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a188/trulsp/LN-TUA_4.jpghttp://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a188/trulsp/LN-TUA_5.jpghttp://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a188/trulsp/LN-TUA_6.jpg

I am still having a problem with the nosewheel wanting to bury itself in the runway, no matter how hard I try to hold it off, there comes a point when it drops like a brick! I know it was worse in version 1 but it's still there albeit not quite as bad.Cheershttp://members.chello.nl/t.westnutt/realair.gif

Hi. I like the Tinmouse 732 very much. However I'm having one problem... I can't get the HSI to work. I have my NAV1 and NAV2 tuned to a VOR and both needles are tracking on the compass card and showing DME. But nothing is happening on the HSI and the course won't change from 000 when I move the course selector. No, I don't have GPS mode engaged. I checked that. FS9 is set to NAV mode.Advice appreciated!ThanksRob

After start during a few cold mornings the oil temp is well below the green line- don't remember the actual reading. Is there a min temp before adding power to taxi, or do I need to wait the minute or two it takes for it to get up into the green arc? THANKS,

Help please, all of a sudden my nosewheel seems locked at 90 degrees consequently I just taxi round in circles.I wondered if it was a Fsuipc problem but I've downloaded version 3.70 but makes no difference.I,m probably overlooking something simple but can,t think what.BTW my contol is Vitual Pilot Pro yoke only, no seperate rudder control.Cheers Steve

Dear TinMouse funs,I recently discovered this beautifull plane and i was astonished by it's quality. But there were no repaints on my local airliner. So this is my first repaint of the B732 on Aegean Airlines Colours both Pax and Cargo (both fixional). An airline operating in Greece (2nd bigest). You can found screenshots and download them from here:Cargo: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...acrp&DLID=91526Pax: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...acrp&DLID=91523Nicholas Maggioros

Hi all, fisrt off all, I used "search" mode of topic for my problem with these wkey words "speed breaks, speed break, spoillers etc" , but I couldn't find anything.I made a short online flight with my own repaint (vipair- model PNK). it was 1 hr flight at FL280. after T/O there was no problem without some decreases sound of cockpit by new V1.1 cfg.but I lived some problem while descend and after landingproblems are;1- when I want to use speedbreak for decreasing speed, even speed break lever come flight detend, aircraft doesn't slowing. decent rate was 1600-2000fpm and thurst levers %35RPM at that moment. I was working to slowing down 290IAS to 230IAS for preparing approac…

I tried the panel with a R/W flt plan and found the fuel wasn't burning enough. So I set the FF at 3000PPH/eng and timed how long it would take to burn 2000lbs (20mins). It actually took 26mins. I'll time some more but it looks like the needle on the guage indicate higher than actual.Greg

Hi,will there be a possibility in further version of the Tinmouse, when Failures are implemented to get random failures at a 'realistic' level, e.g. 1 per 100 or even 500Flight Hours? And will the probability for certain failures higher then for others, for example I think it's more likely to encounter a burned out landing gear light then a uncontained engine failure...

First I have to say what an amazing panel, a real work of art. I'm still flying the the 737-200 FFX. When I upgraded to v1.1 the folder for the 732 FFX did not have an FDE file. Should I use the the the new FDE or the old one that came with the first tinmouse 2 download? Scott

Hi,can you tell me, how navigation is done in real world in the -200s nowadays? Did they need to retrofit them with FMCs and so on or still only "VOR Flying"(and, how was the navigation when the airplane entered service? Really only "VORtoVOR"?)I'd like to fly the Tinmouse B737 on IVAO, so it should be RNAV Certified, but I don't want to add a super-modern part, as this just doesn't fit to the "atmosphere" of this old airplane. The CIVA INS is rather hard to use, exspecially when operating in a particular crowded traffic situation or when you exspect route changes(e.g. shortcuts) rather often. Do you have any advise for me?

HiI just had to re-install everything after a hard disk replacement including the TM2. I have the Civa installed but not I cannot get the RAD/NAV switch to move to NAV anymore. Clicking it has no effect. Any ideas what could be doing this?CheersTimhttp://members.chello.nl/t.westnutt/realair.gif

Hi,Thanks again for creating such a great aircraft! My problem is I have a slight issue with the CIVA INS unit and it's integration with the aircraft. I program it, from start to finish, insert all my waypoints, wait for the green light, switch the MSU to NAV, ect, ect. My issue comes when trying to integrate the INS unit with the Tinmouse panel. I couldn't find the INS Nav Mode selector anywhere, and can find no other obvious way to let the INS unit control the autopilot, so I installed it manually. Well, when the Tinmouse project was at version 1.0, this method worked fine, and the heading indicator guided to the waypoints listed on the INS unit. However, once V1.1 was …

Here's what happened: About 2.5 hrs after engine start, FL310, heard a very short beep, about 3-4 seconds apart, 3 times. Pressurization panel showed cabin alt at 15,000, Diff Press about 5.5. Went to manual, AC, closed the valve to about the 1/4 position and cabin began descending at about 1500fpm. At cabin alt of 10,000 reduced rate to 400fpm by opening the valve a few notches (clicks). At cabin alt 6,500 reset the Auto function okay. Tried to reset the auto function 2 times initially, but to no avail. It was completely unexpected, all the controlls worked as they should to correct the problem. Was this possiblity programed into the Tnmouse II, or was it a "glit…

Hi all, this is not asking where it is, what I would like to know from anyone that can answer is... Back when the 200 series was in production, was there any aircraft with IAS hold through the elevator? I have been flying the tinmouse for a while now and thought that this feature in the real aircraft would help. It would seem to me a fairly simple addon as the aircraft autopilot already has control of the evelvator.PS I am aware the the latter 200adv has this ability plus auto throttle.Kind regardsPaul

Congratulations on a super project. I am having a great time learning how to fly this aircraft. The only major problem I have encounterd is in using VOR or ILS.If I have filed an IFR flight plan, the autopilot will follow it when I select 'VOR LOC', but when I want to make an ILS approach, I can't. The autopilot will only respond to the filed flight plan when I select 'VOR LOC' or 'AUTO APP'. The VOR needle will not rotate to agree with the ILS approach course I input. The ILS function works fine if I have not previously filed an IFR flight plan.Is there a control hidden somewhere to switch the function of the autopilot from GPS to NAV?Please help.

Hey,Firstly, let me just say how impressed I am with the Tinmouse 737 -- I'd probably say it's as good (if not, better) than a lot of payware I have seen. It's an absolutely amazing aircraft, and you guys have gone into great detail with it!Now, I find myself wanting to try out some very diverse flying; up in Northern Canada, where most of the runways are gravel, the navaids come sparse, and, well, the headings are done in true headings rather than magnetic. Well, the only restriction that I have is the heading indicator seems to be "stuck" in the magnetic heading mode! I was wondering if there was any possible way to switch it over to true, or set it manually (as it woul…
