Edit: I`ve made some progress. I now realise that I have to have the spoilers in the Up position on the quadrant for them to be down. Is this correct? I thought that "Down" was spoilers stowed in the wing, "Armed" was next , followed by the range through to "Flight Detent" which is the maximum inflight extension. Finally "Up" is ground spoilers position used after touchdown. Maybe this is reversed?Hi I am a little stuck. I`m being stupid somewhere but need an expert to show me the error of my ways.I have trim in the green band, flaps 5 spoilers down and not armed, pressurisation set and switched to flight, no warning lights and I get the intermittent warning horn when I …

Hello there, hello BobIs there anybody living out there willing to take me by the hand and guide me step by step how to implement my reverse on my throttle ?I use a Cougar and FSUIPC v3.7 registered. Do not ask me wether I read the User guide and the advanced User guide .The answer is YES, but it was all greek to me .The user interface is not quite clear and I do not want to mess everything. I would like to implement it just after my last detent, when throtteling backwards .I used FSUIPC to implement everything that appeared in the Tinmouse readme and everything went smooth , untill my wish to put my reverse on the throttle. Thanks to you Bob and thanks to all of you willi…

Upgraded to 1.2.2. currently using FSUIPC to map an axis to spoiler. Should the same technique be used, set for prop pitch 1? that is, moving from 0 to half-range arms ground sopilers, set a null around the half-range area, and then the rest of the range is for flight spoilers?scott s..

Hello everybody .I am using a Thrustmaster Cougar Hotas coupled with a CH pro pedals. My question is ... Do I need to calibrate them with FSUIPC (registered) or with FS.If using FSUIPC is this calibration going to override my windows calibation ? or is it going to be effective only when flying with Tinmouse B737.?I join here my FSUIPC.ini.Can anybody check it and tell me what I have got to do to improve it.I already configured FSUIPC for throttle lock and trim. I am planing to use it to increment and decremant flaps.Thank you all and long live Tinmouse team; and please forgive me for my bad english.Madcop

Morn'n all... quick question - while performing some VFR pattern work to increase my landing performance - I noticed the plane really skids around turns... I believe I have the yaw damper on... Should this be the case or am I doing something wrong ??? I did some coparison with later model 737's by POSKY and KITTYHAWK - which do not have this problem... Thanks for this great plane !!!Regards,Scott

I just added this to the FAQ:Q: Will the TinMouse II work in FSX?A: In a word, no. The FSSound module which is fairly deeply embedded in the code does not work in FSX, and a new sound interface will need to be integrated with the panel. There are a number of other major issues known at this point, and probably more that are still unknown at this time. Given the marginal performance most FSX users are experiencing on current hardware, migration to FSX is not an urgent priority, and will be approached in a methodical manner that is going to take some time...probably many months, maybe more, and maybe not at all. Development of the FS9 version has not ceased, although future…

Hello all,I had issues as noted with my flaps/spoilers which has now been corrected with many thanks to Bob and any one else involved. What impresses me most is the response was quick and my problem never got pushed aside. Tinmouse truly means it when they say support (unlike some of the complaints I've read on some payware forums), especially since this is a freeware project. This dedication is greatly appreciated. This 737-200 has always been a favorite since the very start and always will because it just keeps getting better.Hats off to all involved and keep up the great work!!Thanks,Mel M.

I see that you have incorporated the GNS 530 into the panel, but I have the GNS430. Any chance i could get a cfg for that? I tried to edit it in myself, no joy. Thanks.Chris

I have only recently upgraded to version 1.1 and I'm having problems with the throttle lock and trim. When should it be engaged?I tried it first on the ground during take off roll with my throttle set manually to the PDCS-generated EPR. When I clicked the + clickspot, i got an audible message concerning speed too high, my engines spooled down, and the throttle was inop. The next time I tried it, I sat on the runway with the parking brake applied, spooled up to TO EPR, and then clicked + or - (I'm not sure which). Again my engine spooled down but I still had throttle control. At that point I could use the + and - to adjust the EPR but starting from the minumum setting…

In the latest release of the FS2004 Kittyhawk Boeing 737-200 there are automatic wing and flap tip vortices which I've been trying to work into the Tinmouse cfg without too much success at present. It means a major rewrite of the "Lights" to make it work properly.Has anyone tried this to include these effects ?Pete

I don`t own the payware version of FSUPIC and I am not going to buy it for a single flap function. Spoilers could be controlled with the main panel spoiler light button but it is nearly impossible to switch between pedestral and main panel while flying on final just to drag the flap lever with the mouse. This is so unprecise that I regularly set the wrong flap setting. It costs time and kills my patience.I know about the upcoming features of simulated hydraulic failures but concerning to the circumstances: Flying is more important for me than failure simulations. I want my old F5,F6-functions back, maybe without electric power or hydraulic pressure, otherwise the plane wo…

To whom it may concern,A quick and easy way to change the frequency of any of the Tinmouse2 Radios is to use the Cockpit Commander utility by Glenn Copeland. Get it from the Avsim File Library. The file name is cpitcmdr.zip.After you download and install it, you may want to add the following lines to the WindowXX section of the fsfsconvpanel.B732SDV panel.cfg file:window_size=0.200,0.130window_pos= 0.780, 0.200

All, First off - just a big THANK YOU - to the folks on the Tin Mouse team... This plane is one of the most enjoyable packages I have ever had the plaesure to fly - payware included... Just purchased FSUIPC to see what you guys come up with next... I have been spending a great deal of time flying your plane as realistically as possible... Autopilot - VOR Lock - and over flying a VOR... This may be a conceptual error - but - after I overfly the VOR - the autopilot is still doing massive corection 8 or 10 miles out... Am I missing something ? Normally - I just switch back to manual and lock the heading - but - I am not sure if this is the correct procedure... What d…

I've just done a straightforward install of V1.2 over V1.1. Now, when FS9 is loading I get a pop-up box that reads:Reality XP Warning: Reality XP Service Module not found. If I try to load any Tinmouse aircraft, FS9 freezes - although other aircraft will load OK.I do not have and have never had Reality XP. I deleted all the Tinmouse panel and aircraft folders, re-downloaded the panel and the a/c models and did a clean install of V1.2. The warning box is still there. Any suggestions as to how I can disable it?Ian

I still had the jet noise with cold and dark aircraft, in V1.2. Due to other problems with V1.2, I have gone back to V1.1 now, and still have it here as well. Someone posted how to fix this recently, can someone either re-post it, or point me to the right post, I can't find it. Thanx.

Hello,at first thank you very much for this outstanding freeware simulation of my favorite plane. My luck is that I owned the greatest airliner dreamfleet 737-400 for FS2002. Formerly, I got used to her and this is the only reason I can get the tinmouse up in the air and do simple VOR-to-VOR-navigation. Unfortunately, I sold all my FS2002-addons and now I cannot find any explanations of the panel lights, the function of the cabin pressure system, fuel system and so on. Where can I get Bitmaps with explanations like for the Project Tupolev 154 B2?This is such a great project but I think it needs more descriptions of what it simulates and how to handle.Greetings from Bochum…

An errata from the readme file...to use the speed brakes with a hardware controller (i.e. PFC, CH levers) you need to assign the lever to PROP 1 rather than PROP 2 as the readme states. You can make that assignment in the driver, in the FS control assignments dialogue, or in FSUIPC, just so long as the lever is assigned to PROP 1 instead of spoilers/speed brakes.Sorry for the typo.Bob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile
