I would really like to see a manual for the TinMouse.I really like the 737-200 but really dont understand how to properly fly it. Yes I know most folks here say go to this link http://www.b737.org.uk/fmc.htm. Well I've been there now many times reading it. Wile its a very good site with lots of info. It provides me with no step by step checklist to get the TinMouse all up and running properly. The website provides me with lots of information about the systems on board and pretty much how they work. But yet it does not tell me what the switches do in on the flight deck and what switch does what. I really hate just flipping switches on the overhead panel not really kno…

Gentlemen, thx for your really great work done with the B732. I have a question concerning the night textures; i cannot find any night texture neither within the texture folders, nor in the Paintkit. I cannot see a "lighted" aircraft after turning on all lights; just some kind of "window-lighting".Will there be any update or patch with nicht textures in the future?Thx andbest regards

Hello TinMouse people,First of all, hats of for this project! I've never seen such a nice 737 plane and/or panel for FS. Thanks! Now, as a belgian I could not resist painting the 737 in Sabena's colors :-)My first idea was this 737 with SCD: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1080902/L/A bit like the 747 SCD has (it was on request of Sabena that Boeing introduced this principe on the 747)But there's a problem... so far I couldn't find it in you model list. I have the cargo version installed, but it's missing some windows. A lot actually. And when I merge the texture of the cargo on a pax model (model=PNK) then I'm having some troubles with the placement of the windows and …

Well, Great Freeware airplane, Best ive used ever, although i have a couple problems and am looking for a fix1, after 20 minutes or more on the ground, the ASI will go #### up and Die on me, along with the GPS and some other equipment others stay on2, To fly using the INS on autopilot the only way to do it is MAN mode and HDG SEL, and it automatically Sets a course in HDG to get me there, Dunno if this is a bug or all that could be done3, Sometimes The doors wont work, Sometimes they open, Sometimes only my Windows open sometimes nothing opens.4, Other that that, GREAT WORK! i fly alot on Vatsim and with several VA's and the Tinmouse is so good i dont fly the PMDG 747 muc…

I've just upgraded from an unregistered to a registered version of FSUIPC. I've been using the panel for some time with the FFX a/c so I'm familiar with its operation. My ASI is no longer operating so I presume that my existing installation doesn't recognise the new key. I've tried creating a new flight using the default Cessna but it didn't work. Will I have to re-install from scratch or am I missing something simple?Regards,Ian

Bob,As we know, the Tinmouse II project is using a MCP (Glareshield) based on the Sperry 77 panel. I was wondering why it doesn't have the MCP based on the Sperry 177 panel which I think the RW B732ADV used.Just call me "curious",Forget this. I just remembered that you mentioned that a panel based on the Sperry 177 is planned for the future. Thanks,

Hey all,Currently I'm doing an MCC course on the 737-200. We've had two days of technical briefing on the -200 and lots of procedures, numbers and call-outs to remember .. We have 24hr acces to the Cockpit Procedure Trainer, but it's nice to have the tinmouse 737-200 at home to practice procedures ..my question now is what engines are simulated on the tinmouse? If I use the same ZFM and TOM in the tinmouse as in the sim, and using the rules of thumb for the 737-200, settings vary quiet a bit, i.e. they don't match with the attitude/power table i have ..if somebody from the tinmouse development team wants to contact me regarding those settings, please do so .. I know FS is…

I have been unable to find any documentation on the CIVA INS anywhere on my HD. Was it supposed to be installed with the TinMouse Project, or should I try and find it elsewhere? Thanks! Love flying planes with gauges!Rick

Hi, How can I know what flap setting do I need to Take off? This is because I saw in some times used flaps 1 and other times flaps 5 in the same Airport (real life). So I figure that must be a table or similar to get the correct set.Thaks a lotJulio

Are there any plans in the future to alter the type of freight carried in the cargo version ?Rather than the two cars at present, to either containers or crates ?Thanks again for an incredible aircraft and panel combination ... it's awesome.Pete.

I am just starting to get familiar with the updated panel. I have patched up to # 3 in correct sequence but am still getting no functioning from the altimeter and the epr gauges. They have a red flag. ALso, the flap guage is not changing when I select various flap settings. Am I missing something in my electrical power settings? I tried loading the default 172 first, as mentioned in some of the responses to others. Thanks to all for breathing new life into this classic wonderful panel and aircraft!Bill Gustafson,KSAT

Does anybody have runway length specific tables for Flap, EPR, (maybe v-speeds?) etc. settings for takeoff? They are ussually part of the POH on SEL planes, but never seen them for jets. It would be a great guide to have ;)regards,Macs :)

I guess this one goes to Bob, Is there any way you could have a gauge depicting the landing gear lever? I know that it makes no sense having one if there are no possible failures in this area, but it would be nice to have one for an FO panel. I can possibly provide a nice bitmap of one if you'd need one. Just a request :)regards,Macs :)
-
Bill, I managed to try out the FO section of the panel addition (I was looking under the wrong folders DUH! *:-*) , but am having a bit of trouble setting it up. It seems that you use a lot of the old tinmouse project gauges, so some don't show up (if if I am right). I have the "9" version. What am I doing worng? I use the Sperry 77 version only.regards,Macs :)

good day to all,I readed all the previous discussions about FDE, but here is something extra i noticed flying the FFX model with the FDE and aircraft.cfg coming with tm2.Just wondering to know the REAL behaviour of the airplane, so things that appear "strange" to me will likely to be "true" in the real world. But, just curious... - banking to the left is quicker than banking to the right, after ap disconnect;- The spoiler speed brake is almost ineffective compared to the old FDE for FFX, while descending i'm unable to loose a single knot with the spoilers. Looking inside the air file i discovered a "spolier induced drag" setting of 14 against the value of about 350 (i dont…

After patch 3, I've copied the above wav file to the 732 panel folder in fsfsconv but still get the screeching. Eliminated the 400 wav file completely and still get the screeching. Any ideas as to waht is wrong? Thanks,

Hello Guys,Im getting a really sensitive behavior using the pitch trim.Is it only me ? :(Cheers.

Hi,If this sounds illogical, it probably is, but here it goes: By far, my favourite part of the flight is descent planning; so was just curious as to how this is done in real life. I always use the rule of 3 for TOD distances (FL x 3/100)+/- 10% per 10 knots of head/tail wind, and I can get pretty accurate. I use the mach .72/310 knots profile, but am not sure what role does flight idle or no flight idle power settings play on real life operations. I can see several advantages for not using flight idle:1.) Less spool up time when needed2.) Minimum hydraulic and pneumatic pressure vaileable?3.) In newer engined 737's (CFM's) it is prhibited to enter high rain areas with Fl…
