I guess this one goes to Bob :) ,I have seen this feature on some planes where the nav instruments can be selected to run on gyro-only. I have a video of a Canadian airline doing just this due to magnetic unreliabilty issues. In fact, for FS, there are some Russian-plane panels that use this feature and work quite nicely. I beleive this capability would add an extra sense of realism to the panel :). I am sure many airports close to the polar areas require this feature for navigation. Just a thought. :)regards,Macs :)

Hi,Is a co-pilot panel possible for TinmouseII? It would really be nice. I have been interested in using FSNet and this would be almost a necessity for dual cockpit in FS. Just a thought :)regards,Macs :)

OK, after turning on the APU and switching over the power selectors, I started the INS alignment process. I switched it to STBY, tested it as the CIVA manual says, and entered my position. Then I switched it to ALIGN. The API DOES NOT decrease from 9 as it should. What is the problem?

Is there anything "magic" I need to do before the autopilot engages? I have patch 3 I believe (gauge size 14,909,440 bytes) FS9.1, latest FSUIPC and I have all AC packs, hydraulics, generators and yaw damper engaged.I have repeatedly attempted to take off, get to around 2500' at flaps 0 and 240 kts, and engage the autopilot. I'm trying to use CWS and just let the autopilot keep the aircraft trimmed, but when I click on either AP switch, 90% of the time nothing happens. Hitting Z does nothing as well. The aircraft certainly does not go into autopilot. Why is the autopilot not engaging?Cheers!Luke

Why did I think that this panel was VC applicable? While it looks great, I am a VC panel kind of guy due to the fact that I have TrackIR 4 and don't fly without it.Any possibility that this can be released as a VC panel?Hoping

Here's my view of the sim, just prior to my turn. Apologies for the terrible quality, it's taken through the window, using an abysmal cellphone camera.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v244/ARM505/Image038.jpg........gauges showing 'good to go', I called for Max Thrust. The Fleet Captain in the right hand seat, acting as 'dumb' copilot called 'Max Thrust set' after some tweaking of the levers under my right hand, and made the 80kts callout. We had been briefed that we weren't expected to know standard B732 operating procedures, and that we were to fly the aircraft using whatever procedures we were accustomed to - personally, I'm glad I had come from the B1900D. Although it …

Hi all,This is going to be a *really* long post, with some more to follow! Bear with me, I hope it will make an interesting read. It concerns real world flying, and the small yet significant part that the tinmouse panel played in it for me.I am a B732 F/O, flying for a company in South Africa called Nationwide Airlines - http://www.flynationwide.co.za/ We operate B732's (ten or so), B735's (two), and one B763, plus B727's (two or so). The B737 fleet operates on the domestic (FACT, FAJS, FAPE, FADN, FAKN, FAGG) and regional route (FAJS-FLLI). The B763 flies internationally (Johannesburg to Gatwick).I was at the end of my tether - I had been flying on contract for the Unite…

Is there a way to "tone down" the intesity of the landing lights and taxi lights? I find it can become a bit difficult to judge height on landing and navigate on ground with such high intensity lights. Any help would be appreciated :)Thanks,Regards,Macs :)

Hi, Just wondering how exactly to get the color from brown to grey on the frame and transponder unit, or if somebody can share a file. I have tried using photoshop, but it always ends up looking really weird. The "un-framed" option is square in shape, so it does not work with the main panel bitmap VSI shape. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Regards,Macs :)

HiI am a bit of a newbie at downloads etc and I don't mean to be thick but I can't seem to ge the installation of the panels to work. I have read the download instructions however still no sucess. Could someone please walk me through it.The files I have to extract are: Aircraft. modules. effects The latter two I know are extracted to the named files in FS9 ie Modules and Effects, however within the aircraft folder are 737ffx, 737tm2 and the fsfscon.do I extract the each 737 file individually to the FS9/Aircraft folder?and what about the fsfsconv (I know not to change the name) where does it gothanks for your patience and helpRegards Matt

Has anyone looked into putting this very nice TCAS into the TM2?

I've never seen this before, but after installing the panel and the patch on my ffx 732, the eyepoint seems to be pointing at about 15 degrees to the right of the aircraft centreline. I was finding it impossible to land because the aircraft was crabbing left so much. That's when I realized I wasn't seeing straight out the front.I reverted to the original aircraft.cfg and the viewpoint problem is fixed, but I'm not sure what I've lost by using the old cfg file.Did anyone else experience this?ThanksBlairCYOW

Hey Guys, Wooow it is a great B737-200 you made. I was realy impressed. Those systems are realy working. Most of the things are simulated as in real aircraft. One thing that bothers me is that I am not home at the moment and will not be for some time so I am playing it from my notebook. Therefore I have no Yoke! Is there any other way to control CWS??? Please don't say no. Give me a solution guys Please! Alex Dimkic F/O B737-200

Rich's panel and the Tinmouse project I was one of the best jet transport simulators available. I still use to for practing basic instrument work. I look forward to putting Tinmouse II though it's paces.Say hi Rich Probst if you talk to you him.Best regards,Rich BollWichita KS
