I just wanted to say thanks for the great job on TM2. I've been flying sims since FS2 (1986?) and I have to say this is one of the best models I've flown and certainly the best freeware aircraft. Photo is on climb out from KBOS, dusk departure, ActiveSky 6.5. Best regards, Pete in KORDhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/168191.jpg

Hi all,I am just starting to get used to the amazing 737-200 (after spending the majority of my FS career in something with an FMC!). My question is, I can see a computer-type unit in the top-right of the upper radio stack window. However I cannot get it to work. The screen just stays blank no matter what buttons I press and what mode I have it in.Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or do I need additional software to get this unit to work? Thanks for reading, help appreciated.Dave

First of all, thank you for finishing what Richard started. My question is using the RXP Garmin 530 in nav mode with the AP. I cannot get the NAV/GPS button to change back to the NAV/LOC etc after using the Garmin unless I turn the unit off. Is there a work around for this? Thanks,Jason

737-200 fans will enjoy this (even though it is a little sad to see another airline send the 737-200 out to pasture) -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfo7uJeb8VI--

It sounds to me that your pitch axis is not returning to a center (0) value when you release the yoke. Make sure your center null zones are large enough that minor deviations in the mechanical center of the yoke/stick position do not send a nonzero value to FS.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile

Hola Bob,I have great respect for your work over the years. Thanks for the PSS bus airfiles I still use.. plus of course the TinmouseII.I read in the FAQ about your thoughts on FSX and your possibly not developing for it at all.I urge you please to reconsider. My take on the situation is this... Aces are working on a performance patch. As it stands at the moment with my mid range system I get 20 fps locked, so with the patch that will improve. Once that patch is out and stable we will get the DX10 enhancement. I dont know if that will improve frames but I am certain it will improve visuals without reducing frames. In a few months ( 6?? ) DX10 hardware will be more widely …

I just downloaded and installed this panel. Great job! I spent two hours with it last might and didn't even take off. Just tinkering with systems trying to figure it out.I only experienced one problem, and that was with the landing and taxi lights. When I switched on the landing lights, I saw a brief flash of light in front of me, then darkness, then a message that the tail hook was extending. It's not a major issue but if something has gone wrong with the installation, then there may be other problems that I don't know about.Any advice please?

Anyone else have this problem where joystick button inputs won't operate the flaps? I can use the mouse just fine but its really almost impossible to do this correctly while on final approach.

I have just spent 50 euros on a addon which does not even come close to the quality and realism in the Tinmouse. I'm all ranted out on this product now so will not start on that, but any thoughts on doing an Airbus next Bob!! Kind regardsPaul

Hi Alex,There is a work-around for the expired gauge. I assume you are getting Action Code 08-69. If so, just re-cycle your MSU switch to OFF and back to STBY to enter your ramp coordinates. This should clear the error.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.sstsim.com/images/team/JR.jpgwww.SSTSIM.com

This is a very minor point, and I ask it just out of interest :-)I noticed that the APU will start when all the fuel pumps are off. My understanding of these type of aircraft was that one of the fuel pumps needed to be on in order to get fuel up to the APU. That was the case on the 747-400 anyway. There was an electric fuel pump that could be run from stand-by power (I think it was number 3).I might be wrong though.Anyone got any comment on this?

Hi guys,I'm very pleased that a group of dedicated persons have continued with the TinMouse Project. The panel is just great and the models are a piece to behold, thumbs up to all of you guys!! I have followed step by step all installations up to patch 1.23, however I noticed a few bugs to concern.1- When using autobreaks, these remain engaged even when you disable the function with the proper switch, though it should be placed to the "off" position when stepping on the breaks.2- The ground spoilers should deploy (in fact all the spoiler panels)when main struts compression occurs, provided that you armed the spoiler lever in your "before landing" checklist; what I noticed…

Bob,Does the panel simulate ground power before you start up the APU? There are switches there but they don't seem to do anything! Many thanks,Martyn;)

I've just got into flying this great plane. When I click on the ASI I get the speed bugs set but what I have never known is what phase of flight they all refer to. I've worked out that on take-off the first is probably V1, the next is Vr but what are the others? And similarly on landing, are they flap limiting speeds and Vref for the slowest speed? My second question is: the Landing speed tables require an aircraft weight - how do I find out what the weight is? Can the flight data computer help me?ThanksDave

Hi BobA while back it was noticed that during certain OAT that the engine instruments paused during the start procedure. I know that you corrected this, but I am still having this prob. For me it happens at any temp. On introduction a fuel the engine hangs for 4 secs before the gauges then start to show a start. It's not FS pausing as I have checked this. I know there can be a delay in light off but it is all engine parameters. If there iss any more info I can supply then please let me know and I gladly help in any way I can.Kind regardsPaul

First of all I would like to express my appreciation of all the effort that has gone into making Tinmouse II one of the best freeware offerings available. Combined with this helpful and responsive forum we have an FS aircraft that is so realistic and enjoyable to use. Thanks to you, Bob, and to all the team. Now to business - is there anything that can be done with regard to a proper taxi light? My taxi light switch functions OK and has the same effect on both the Gaff and Cantu models; that is it activates a flashing taxi light together with flashing inboard landing lights. This I don't like and of course it's not realistic. As the switch is connected to some lights, and…
