I just released a new TinMouse gauge file to the AVSIM library, V1.24 beta, which incorporates the better parts of my last year's progress on the TinMouse II.Here's where things stand now.FSX development -- permanently discontinued. I've wasted far too much time on it already.Future FS9 development: it's going to be slow going into 2008. My real world retirement is just months away now (!!), and I won't be getting much done on the 'mouse while we're packing up for one more last intercontinental move, and then wheeling and dealing on a retirement home amidst all the housing market chaos. That said, if there are any really heinous bugs in the V1.24 release I'll try to addr…

Since updating to new beta I'm having issues with DME Navaids. While with normal VOR/DMEs distances are properly indicated, with pure DME stations (i.e. at EDDK station KBO 112.15 or at EDFH station HND 116.95) the distance indication remains at 000.0I must be doing something wrong here, I guess. Can anyone help?I have also noticed that stations are only received when airborne, despite being close to them (was not the case with v1.23a).Thanks,Kris GamaggioSTV VA

Hi,Firstly want to say that I downloaded the Tinmouse II 737-200 today and I LOVE this plane! My question is around FSUIPC offsets and / or keystrokes, that could be used with a hardware / cockpit built around this wonderful plane:Bob - Do you have offsets or keystrokes available for any of hte following :-- Ovehead switches (especially, start switches, APU, Packs, etc).- Fuel Switches (on throttle ped).- A/P controls. (Mode selection, master switch).- Heading bug......you get the general idea. I think there is great potential to build a 732 home cockpit around this add-on but it currently seems very dependent on mouse clicks.... any nice offsets for us ?Thanks!

Hi, All of a sudden I am having problems with the flaps. Selecting flaps to t.o. setting after engine start, the flap lever doesnt move and the gauge starts to move to flaps 1 and then immediately back to 0 again with the flap sound working.I have installed all the files and updates from scratch up to the latest update but this doesnt correct the problem.Anyone have any ideas?RegardsTimhttp://members.chello.nl/t.westnutt/realair.gif

Is there a way to assign a switch on my yoke for the YAw Damper? What I have assigned now that works on most a/c, does not work on this a/c. Is there an Offset Byte Parameter to assign like for the flaps? Thanks!Rick

Hi Bob-O, I know you're not a fan of VCs, but I noticed in the FAQ that you said that development would continue for FS9, so I was wondering if that included the possibility of a VC. I am a huge fan of the Tinmouse and I think a lot of us would love to have a VC for it. Though I have no programming or art skills, I'd volunteer my time to help in any way I could. What do you think?Respectfully,Jeff

HiProblem - when I put on full left aileron I get a 'wings folded' message coming up and in spot view I see the left wing spoilers(all) extend, I had the 'F' key assigned to wings fold(which in this case appeared to operate spoilers)I deleted this assignment but problem still there.Right hand aileron ok! I have set the ailerons using licenced fsuipc to no avail. Any ideas anybody?

Version 1.24 (beta) Update to the TinMouse II (panel only) was released to the AVSIM file library on 24 Dec 07.There is a link to the file in the FAQ in this forum. This update requires a full install of the V1.2 panel plus both the V1.21 and V1.22 updates. Can be installed over the V1.23A update, but 1.23A is not needed.Changes in V1.24(beta)1. Now supports the CIVA INS version 1.5 and later. Users of the CIVA INS must upgrade to V1.5 or later for the integrated CIVA functionality to work. (http://simufly.com/ins/) CIVA V1.40 and earlier will no longer work with the panel after this gauge update.2. RMI DME recoded for smooth operation.3. FSUIPC offset control for Y…

Considering that the release of FSX Service Pack 2 is imminent (which will include DX10 support and other performance upgrades), and that we've got a significantly larger percentage of simmers using FSX than we did six months ago, would the developers be willing to reconsider making the TinMouse compatible with FSX?

from PT sim....This is a small tutorial i wrote to get you started on the PT KLN90B. This freeware gauge is very realistic and can be updated with the latest AIRAC's (uses FSNAV files). It can be installed and used on any aircraft with any AP that has HDG hold. Might be nice for the longer flights wich require a lot of INS handlings or for areas with no possibility of updating the INS.Good luck p.s.: email me for the .doc version

Hi,Firstly sorry if I'm asking something basic, only 1 week flying with this aircraft. This issue happenned with me 3 times today when landing, I consulted the documentation and readmes for the aircraft, read several topics of this forum but got no clue about my problem.I was starting landing procedure, gear down, flaps at 30, aligning to ILS localizer. Suddenly, just after intercepting the localizer the panel made some "mechanical sounds" like when you enable or disable the autopilot. After that sound, my throttle was locked and was not possible to move it, even using keyboard, mouse or throttle from my Saitek X45. Also, I was not able to disable this behavior.Initially …

Hello, my name is Marco and I'm new in this forum.:-) This 737-200 model and panel are absolutely amazing! Fantastic, one of my favourite aircraft so beautifully reproduced for FS2004!:D ..so thanks for making it!!This is my question: I'm not a 3d designer (so I don't know if it's difficult to make or not), but I was thinking about a 737-100 model..you guys, that made some fantastics -200 models, can make a shortened -100 model? The panel is the same, and so the dynamics I think, the only difference is the lenght of the fuselage..There's no 737-100 for FS2004..and I think that's so nice the Baby Boeing..:9 B737-100http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5717190If is pos…

Hello All!First of all, thank you very much for this wonderful aircraft. It is very close to the quality of the DF727 of which the developer-team can be proud of!After flying it for some time I get 2 problems after landing which I can not fix:1) The GPWS doesn't stop calling out "Glideslope" and "Pull Up" after landing. Even when I left the runway and Throttle is Idle.2) The aircraft steers to the right itself after landing which can just be corrected by steering to the left all the time. Trim is neutral.Does anyone have an idea how to fix these problems?Thank you!Jorinwww.flugsimulation.com

Hello guys,I managed to configure the CIVA INS correctly (at least it displays READY NAV on the correct position, 9 waypoints are stored and I can tune it to NAV without any warning light).Sorry for this extreme noob-question, but I just can't figure this out by myself. Is it correct to assume that the CIVA INS cannot be coupled to the autopilot? If yes, is it the correct way to fly the 732 with the CIVA INS by continuously monitoring the INS DSRTK value and tuning the HSI
