The new 1.51 works well on the mouse. It incorporates a very useful guage that allows for automatic data entry (ADEU). This saves a lot of data entry on those frequently flown routes. The Civa download is available at http://www.simufly.com/ins/The panel config I use is this which places the ADEU nicely on the radio panel.INSTRUCTIONSBack up your panel config file first and rename it panel.bak or something similar. Make a copy and call it panel.cfg.Go to the Window 7 entry and cut and paste the following over it.There is one for the TCAS installation and one without. For panels with TCAS installed.//--------------------------------------------------------[Window07]file=rad…

Hi,I'm new with the tinmouse 737-200 and I have a problem. When I'm about 10 minutes in the air the autopilot disenages and some other systems in the cockpit stop working. The altimeter, vor, fdi, gps and radio don't work anymore but the airspeed indicator does work. The engines also keep working. This happens suddenly during every flight I've made with the tinmouse 737. I suspect it has something to do with how I start up the aircraft. I couldn't find a manual or tutorial on howto do this. I try to do it like I do it on a PMDG 737NG. I found a good tutorial for that on youtube. Does somebody know what the problem is and how to solve it?Thanks,Marty

I've gone through some threads on trim setting and I'm not sure if this has ever been answered, or at least I haven't had success fiddling with things. This is with the Terry Gaff model using -17R engines. I played with my loading to get a GTOW of about 100,000 and a CG of 20. For a flaps 5 take off I find I need a T.O, trim setting of about 4.2 (per AFDS +1.10) in order to rotate @ indicated Vr. But during the initial climb pitch will increase above 20 degrees until stall unless immediate nose down yoke pressure is applied. I find a pitch of about 13 degrees is required to maintain V2+10 or 15, and to achieve that I have to crank in nose-down trim until the pedestal…

I can only speak for myself amf my instalation but I have run into some "weirdness" with trim and AC performance lately. In all honesty I can't definitively point to 1.24 as the culprit but...it seems to have started with this upgrade? I believe my problem arises because I do not start every flight with the default FS9 flight...I have created and saved TM2 flights, in advance, and usually just select them when starting FS9. When I run into this weirdness I experience what many have described...a drastic increase in "nose up" attitude after take-off...usually resulting in a stall. After all the comments here I decided to try and "fight it off" the next time it occured, ins…

I have to say that the visual model of the Tin Mouse II 737-200 is absolutely exceptional. The only thing that is missing that completes the model is virtual wing views. So many simmers nowadays really enjoy this addition and I would love to see it added to the visual model. Has this been pondered or even planned as an update? That is the only thing that the FFX model has over the Tin Mouse model. Everything else is a no brainer, in my opinion. Cabito

Hi Folks,I've updated my fs2004 Tinmouse 2, (payware fsuipc too) all the way thru 1.24 and I still can't get thrust reverser 2 to fully engage and none of my comm radios will change frequencies to the left of the decimal. To the right of the decimal works fine. I really enjoy the Tinmouse, have reloaded 3 times and it's getting very frustrating! Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm definitely more of a flyer then a programmer...dp

the interest to have the TM work in FSX is absolutely zero. However, I have imported it into FSX, and it so far seems to work pretty well. Of course, the gauges don't work, so a substitute panel is being used at present.I do have a problem with one added livery, however. All of the aircraft in the original d/l display just fine. The one that I just added, the Frontier livery, is missing all of the wheels. Anybody have any idea why the wheels do not show up on this one livery? Thanks,Darrell

Hi there Bob!Having pulled the Tinmouse out of the Hangar again a few days ago for an article I wanted to do, I fell in love with this great aeroplane again. Just a few little issues while I'm at it...1. Concerning the PDCS: FEATURE REQUEST! ;-) Is there any way you could add a keyboard shortcut or a hidden clickspot for changing the EPR limiter from TO to CLB? This usually has to be done in the most critical phase after takeoff... I would assume in R/L the non-flying pilot would make the selection. Since bringing up a subpanel and searching for that #### little knob while turning for the SID doesn't always work *G*2. Concerning the FDE: The plane still feels a bit lively…

  11. Hi FolksI've been trying to setup/install the TM2 for ages but keep having problems of one sort or another. For starters, the links for various files in the FAQ here take me to: "Page cannot be displayed".I'm not sure i've got all the relevent files or not. No doubt the FAQ does actually state correct install, but i'm struggling with it. It seems a little complicatated actually getting to the current version. Is there a *complete* file anywhere i can download? Please bare with me a little today.... for those who don't know me, i have a brain tumor, and often find find it REALLY hard to follow allong. And I mean REALLY hard. You should see me with the PMDG744 on a bad day…

Have been flying the Tinmouse for about a week now. Noticed that there are no sounds for the trim, whenever the trimwheel moves, not a sound. Checked the wav files and discovered that all the files work except the three that are designated for the trim. Re-downloaded the base package with the same result. Any idea why all other panel wav files work but these? Thanks in advance for any help.Joe

  13. Hi Mouseketeers,I have read the FAQ and have engaged the FSUIPC Control Accel but I still on final flaps 30 - 40 and speed around 130 that the acft is 'porposing' for want of a better phrase. Whilst I am trying to keep the rate of descent and pitch correct any small joystick inputs cause a rapid change in pitch. When I watcht the replay the acft noses up and down quite often (I suspect not just my poor flying). What else am I missing?Scottp.s. even if I hand fly circuits with no AP or no pitch changes - I get the same.

I have a registered version of FSUIPC and I'm a bit confused on how to set up the flaps. I tried assigning F6 and F7 to my flaps up and down switches on my FlightSim Yoke through FSUIPC. I checked aircraft specific for the Tinmouse. The flaps retract properly but extension will not go past 30. I tried removing the assignment in the FS2004 control assignments but still the same.(not sure if using FSUIPC switches dictates the need for removal of the standard FS2004 assignment) Also, I have a Dreamfleet Dakota that the flaps won't function properly since I fooled with some of these changes. The flaps go full down and retract two notches at once when my yoke switch is used. I…

Before all, I wish you a nice and smooth transition to your new place from Santiago, and happy new year too! Thanks so much for the update, as we, Tinmouse drivers wanted to have some new reference for this awesome plane that I flew for some time in real life a few years ago.I've dowloaded the new patch and I have also installed the CIVA 1.51 version, both work well together, but guess what? I realized that the wing fuel tanks lights are allways off!!! regardless the electrics are tied to either main buses or APU bus and the TCAS is also faulty (flag) I looked into my main FS9 file and all the gauges for it are in there as before. I got to tell you that I have a registred…

I am having a problem with the spoilers. They will extent but not retract, either in the air or on the ground. When I first load the aircraft (from a running C172 startup) I note the spoiler lever is already deployed about half way, but the spoilers are down so I figured this was OK. There is no way using the mouse to get the lever to move further up to the 'Down' position. Is this normal? I am using the default Terry Gaff model. If I use speedbrakes at all during descent I get the annoying alarm as soon as I start to extend flaps, due to the fact my speedbrakes are not fully retracted. This lasts right to touchdown. The only way I have found I can retract the spoiler…

Hi!My name is Oliver, I'm from Argentina. I really enjoy your model of the 737-200 and it's very realistic. I'd like to thank all the TinMouse project team, for this fantastic aircraft.Well, I've got a problem with the default flaps keys (F5, F6, F7, F8) and the Tinmouse. I use those keys for the Fsinn, and they are disabled on the FS, but when I use the TinMouse 732 they become able again, although they are disbled on the settings Menu. I'm sure this is a problem with the FSUIPC, I already changed it as in the Readme stands. Is there anything I can do?Thanks again!Regards Oli

I downloaded the Tinmouse two days ago and since spent time discovering. Great product!!!At first I struggled with the autopilot, but the manual that is linked in the FAQ proved helpful. As for the other functions, I am fine (almost 10 years of simming experience start to show), EXCEPT these two:1. On the autopilot. I am confused. Basically what I want is the following: after takeoff, engage the elevator control mode of the AP and have the AP fly a VS that I choose. For some reason I cannot find a way to set the VS that I want the AP to fly. So I have to hand-fly the vertical navigation myself, using only the FD's instruction. So what is it that I am missing? Do I have to …

First let me thank all involved for developing such a great addon.I would like to add the 810gal auxiliary fuel tank into a B732 Executive repaint I've downloaded. However I'm not sure how to add fuel tanks into an aircraft. Is it OK to use the "Right Wingtip" tank moved to the correct location for this purpose? Otherwise how would one add a new fuel tank? Thanks,Morgan

Hi everybody,First thanks to Bob and co. for this outstanding piece of freeware!I just noticed that there is a possibility to change the engine type to JT8D-15 or JT8D-9 when typing it to the "title=" line of the aircraft.cfg. Is there a special syntax i have to follow? (before the rest of the title or behind etc.)RegardsJakov

The Simufly team has just released Version 1.50 of the wonderful CIVA Carousel INS gauge. The new INS is not compatible with the TinMouse II V1.23 or earlier. I will soon be releasing an updated TinMouse II multigauge that is compatible with the new v1.5 CIVA gauge. Until then, you should continue to use V1.40RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile
