  2. Hi, I wonder if anyone could do a Belle Air repaint for an Airbus A320 (A319...or both of them!) for SMS overland or Wilco feelthere... "Belle Air" is an Albanian low cost carrier. Founded in 2005, the airline meanwhile is merely in italian hands today but officialy stayed an "Albanian airline". The repaint shouldn't be too challenging although it's really beautiful (in my opinion), if you take a look at the link you'll know why - I mean "shouldn't be too challenging" for someone who's familiar with doing repaints! Well obviously I'm not so I hope there will be someone nice to do this. Maybe from Albania or Italy? Livery: Just look out for "Belle Air" to get p…

But I couldn't get out of my head while working on this aeroplane:Real one: and mine: Approaching Mustique Apologies for the FSX default scenery. :blush2: Thanks to Marlon for suggesting this paint. I'm now done with Islanders! No Airliners.net photos were used in the production of this thread.

  4. Hey guys, I'm new to the AVSIM forums but have been playing with flight sims for a while. I also love messing around with photoshop. I have created 4 fictional liveries to share with you guys. 2 From PanAm: one retro, one modern. (739, 739WL) 1 From "PlanetExpress" from the TV show Futurama. (738WL) 1 Custom made for my company, it is "vomit-comet" style. (739WL) I'd be great of you guys took a look at the imgur link. http://imgur.com/a/iTPoc If there is any interest I'd be happy to share them

I have searched the farthest corners of the internet, and I'm surprised that nobody has done a Pan Am repaint for fsx. If anyone out there is interested in doing this I would very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Jacob.

P2-ISA was one of several BN-2 Islanders operated by Talair in Papua New Guinea. Unfortunately, they ceased trading in 1993... I wonder what happened to her! On AVSIM library. Incidentally, Papua New Guinea provides some very interesting bush flying!

Trying to get Delta fully covered with my WOAI package. I just would like Delta livery for all my NWA AI. Planes I need Delta liveries for is the FSPainter SAAB 340, AIA DC9, and AIA 757-300 (I believe their AIA models, I'll check). The bottom line is WOAI is going belly up yet there's these great packages out there that need updating with the latest airline colors. For those of us with limited time just repainting these birds is a start. If we can get Delta done then hopefully United/Continental can be addressed and later American Airlines. AI is really getting neglected these days and developers like WOAI go away and take all their work with them. Thanks in…

  11. Started by Ron Attwood,

I speak of course, of Flight1's BN-2 Islander. Although it's getting on a bit in FSX terms it still, in my humble opinion, holds up very well. Anyway, I came upon this aircraft and gave it a shot: Now me: It's on AVSIM (Ron Attwood) If you haven't used the Islander for a while it's well worth renewing your acquaintance.

Hi guys, seriously in need of help here. I repainted the PMDG 747X but for some reason and i cannot figure out why for the last 2 hrs, the left side is showing all texture muddled. Saved in .DDS DXT5 and also tried BMP just in case, still no luck. Any ideas please? See screenshot below Looking ok Oh dear!

  13. Started by bus320,

Dear Simmers, I just downloaded a Project Airbus Air Malta A320 aircraft. To be honest the texture is great, however all i need is just to do some adjustments. Is there any particular tutorial ( for beginners) that it may help me? I have these tools installed on my system - DTXBmp / Imagetools I followed some tutorials on youtube but unfortunately all it was without success. I wonder if anyone could help me. Thanks BUS 320

Hello guys! I am serching for a painter to help me out with a couple of repaints. The name of the VA is ''flyScandinavia'' The website is currently under development, i'll see if i can't upload a SS later today. I am not asking one painter to do the entire fleet, unless someone want to, because i know it's alot of work. But here is a list of the planes i hope to have in the fleet eventually. - Airbus A319 (Project Airbus) - Airbus A321 (Project Airbus, Airbus X) - Airbus A330 (Project Opensky) - Airbus A340 (Project Opensky) - Airbus A380 (Project Airbus) - Boeing 737-700 (Project Opensky) - Boeing 737-800 (Project Opensky, PMDG) - Boeing 737-900 …

Swiss maid -made. Geddit? Oh please yourselves. You'll maybe recognise the top one as being part of the Orbx IV-P package. The lower one is it's hangar mate (more info here: http://www.mcr01.ch/...d=129&Itemid=40 The eagle eyed among you (that's pretty much all of you!) will notice the pinlines over the roof aren't right. This is because if I placed them correctly the pixels bleed across the roof. Try as I might, I couldn't discover a way of overcoming that so I used some artistic license. And so to my crack at it... It's on AVSIM P.S. If anyone knows a way of overcoming the bleeding pixel problem I'd be appreciative.

Evening all, Im looking for the Tom Collins Overland A380 and various other airlines using the Airbus type models...Virgin Atlantic A380, A340-300, i can only seem to find a few airlines painted by him on Avsim.... Im using the FSX version btw

  18. Started by fppilot,

I have an anomaly with a repaint that I need some help with. This is the Milviz Cessna 310R. I replaced the gold stripes with gray in PS CS5 with the color replacement tool, pasted over the tail numbers from a blank texture, and added my own custom tail number. Used DXTBmp to transfer the textures to and from PS. I have done a score of repaints like this and never experienced this before. This is obviously from the aircraft selection screen off the FSX opening screen, but I get a much less pronounced effect like this at some angles in chase plane view. Anyone able to ID what may be causing this and how to correct?

I came upon this beauty whilst trawling through Airliners.net My version: In real life this plane's paintjob is iridescent and depending on the light, looks blue, green or purple. I couldn't manage the purple I'm afraid. Uploaded to AVSIM. Oh, the purple... That paint must have cost more than my house! Sharp eyed among you will notice that VH-LLW is part of the Orbx paints. I thought I'd do it a bit more accurately

Hi, I'm having a problem with a repaint of mine. I'm working on a repaint for a VA, and the engine paint won't show. I have painted the engines, and added them using DXTbmp, but this is how it looks: Does anyone have any idea of what's wrong? Best regards.

Hi all, Anyone got a tip for which tool to use in Photoshop to get a chipped paint effect? I have a matt black anti-glare panel over a metal background, I want to sort of 'chip' through it in places to show the bare metal underneath. The usual tools I would use such as the rubber are not giving me the effect I'm after at all. Thanks for any ideas.

After my Project Airbus HD series, which will be online soon (new homepage is on it's way!) I switched to some payware airplane painting: Working on Captain Sim 737 Classic series. Two textures are already finished. Boeing 737-130 "Nasa - Langley Research Center" the first Boeing 737 ever flown. And for our back country pilots the Boeing 737-2S2C/ADV "Air Inuit (OC)" More to come soon! Greetings, Daniel
