Tentatively done, after a day of nitpicking little issues I know of (specifically w/ the night lighting) it will be uploaded here and I'll get to finishing up another VC repaint I designed this VC with Ron Attwoods repaint of N54NE in mind (pictured here).. Flashy, a little over the top, some subtle mood lighting and a lot of style. :) Tons of work went into this breaking down all the textures into a mountain of layers, re-writing all the panel text etc etc etc.. Hi I hope this isn't too dumb a question - but here goes! I would like to change the aircraft registration letters on my favorite plane (Carenado Beech Bonanza v35). It's the chrome version with tip tanks. When I open the image in DXTBMP I see there is an alpha channel - I assume this is the chrome effect. This also has the aircraft registration letters on it (in white) which makes the letters not shiny. My question is how do I edit the letters in the alpha channel to correspond with the changes I make on the main image? Thanks Dave

Built 1978 YL-LEI was a Russian officer's transport. Then it was sold from Lithuania to Switzerland, where she was put on light duties ferrying tourists around. REAL ONE HERE With a friend :smile: On AVSIM as of now.

Good evening, I have a curious problem when downloading certain re-paints for FSX. When I install them, the textures on most of the aircraft are darker then they should be. I have looked at the aircraft files using DXTBMP and they are the correct color, but when they load they look like the picture below. Any Ideas?

Anyone have info on getting the radomes to be white like the rest of the aircraft? I must be missing something on the template. Aircraft is WIP btw so yes everything is not in proportion yet. TIA

Can you make a plane Skins without Photoshop?

This aircraft has been through many hands but still presents well. Built in 1975, is in fact a 112 but we can't hold that against it. It had suffered a couple of embarrassing undercart failures but fortunately only when taxiing slowly. Owned by GEE DASH Ltd (how convenient! :rolleyes: of Dedham, Colchester, Essex, it lives at Bourn aerodrome, (EGSN) near Cambridge As usual, the real one: And mine: On AVSIM now.

I can't possibly say who I thought owned this aircraft! But for such a flamboyant paint job that cries out to be noticed, G-BFXS's owner sure keeps a low profile! Other than that the aircraft was built in 1977 (not showing it's age eh?) and it's based at Old Buckenhan EGSV, I can't find anything else about it. Does anyone still use this aircraft? I was browsing aeroplane pictures and came upon this unusual, for a 114, paint job: C-GODZ is owned by 2239351 Ontario Inc. Which is The NAME Foundation (National Association of Marriage Enhancement) founded by Pastor Leo Godzich. Hence the very appropriate registration letters. Sadly, Pastor Godzich died in a car accident in Uganda in 2011. Hello, I am new in repainting aircraft for FSX. I am trying to do a livery for the PMDG MD 11. I need help for three things : 1) how can I put the registration on the nose gear door ? I have tried in the fuse_left.psd file but the registration appears on the closed door, not the opened one, when the aircraft is on ground. 2) How to do the same under the right wing ? 3) how to get rid of PMDG written just above the cockpit ? Sounds AIR again. They've got a C206 in their fleet that is used as a sky diving platform, a sightseer and for popping down to the shops. I've included the standard Stationair and the Cargo version. I was going to do the C172s they have as well but the Sounds AIR logos on the nose don't work. One side gets flipped! Maybe when the A2A 172 comes out... Anyway, add this one to your fleet. :smile:
