Damned things have been doing my head in! VH-OBD was formerly registered in the United States as N2462H and operated by Weaver Aero International INC. It was de-registered in the states on the 1st April 2008 and registered in Australia from then on. It normally resides in Port Augusta, South Australia.(YPAG) Owned by the Department for Environment & Heritage. Here she is: Uploaded to AVSIM Library. Now what's next I wonder. :Thinking:

Hi All, I just know this has been covered somewhere before, but when I need it I can't find it! I have been doing a few PMDG B737NGX FSX repaints of late and on one I have a small white gap appear between Fuselage 1 and 2 sections (see attached pic). I can't get rid of it and really want to finish to he repaint! Any ideas? Peter

Hi, i just start my first paint, and got a quick question : -I can paint winglets creating a new layer in winglet folder (Master psd file), i apply my design on that layer in Multiply mode (located on the top of the winglet folder), is it the right manner to do ? -As the Tail painting, shall i apply the winglets painting in a another PSD file which is not the master file ? -About converting file : I have Photoshop CS5, can i convert in DDS, how to do that ? I need a 4 bladed prop texture for FSX that can be inserted in a texture sheet. I have a woai Dash 8 that has the prop texture on the main sheet and I keep getting a black circle when it is running. If I had a texture that will show right I think I can paste it in the main texture and the alpha. I guess I need to know if I should go lighter on the main sheet ( I'm almost totally black now) or should it be done on the alpha ( It's black too now.) Thanks Joe W

The repaint of fictional callsign N537MG is an update to my N20CG.zip released in January 2012. Fictional Canadian callsign C-FMTC is included as an alternate. Changes include 'new' de-icing boots, wing fuel caps, engine vents, and wing ice inspection lights. Enjoy the flight WS

Alabeo's Staggerwing is terrific value and a fun plane to fly and butt clenching to land! This particular aircraft was imported into Australia in 1937, VH-UXP has, like all of us old uns, had a tough life. But it has now (after a six year rebuild) been completely restored to its original condition by Cam Hawley and his wife. God bless'em! On AVSIM now.

I'm seeing a new effect on some recent payware from developers like Albeo, Carando and Aerosoft, and that is reflected light effects on the shadow side of the fuselage. It's a reflection of the colors and tone of the surrounding environment (sky, horizon, land). I'm not referring to reflected images as seen in a glossy paint scheme. Does anyone know how this is controlled? Is it a dds file or a function of the model? I would dearly love to be able to apply this to my other aircraft in FSX. Thanks, Todd

Greetings fellow flight simmers! My first post here! I have seen folks get a lot of help here and I had a question. I have the McPhat liveries and the F/T ERJ135/145 V2, and I have searched high and low (I think) for a Delta Connection ERJ135. Does anyone have any leads on where I could locate one?

I don't know what it is about the Swiss and An-2s but here's the latest. The interior of this one (in real life, sadly not in the repaint) is seriously luxurious. No overalls worn on this baby! First the real one: And mine: On AVSIM now. :smile:

G'day Been asked by my VA to do a special Qantas paint and I'm looking for the name of the qantas font style or as close as I can get to the Qantas fonts that's used. I have been looking and looking and cant find what im looking for. Even with all the images out on the net I cant find all the letters im looking for. If someone knows what its called or has a copy I would love to know or have it please. Thanks Darryl

Longtime simmer needs to learn repainting, I'm building a Progressive Aerodyne SeaRey and thought I could try out potential paint schemes using the First Class Simulations FSX SeaRey in FSX before comitting to the real paint scheme. Is Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 ok to use repainting in FSX, or should I use something else? (I've got DXTBmp.) TIA, Steve

That's Polish as in Poland not polish as in shiney. SP-ANU belongs to, or at least has it's name plastered all over it, APEX-ELZAR. I've no idea what their business is, but I've got £5 on the boss being a Barca fan! (Barcelona FC to those (Americans?) who don't know) :biggrin: The real SP-ANU is actually pink with frilly art work on it. :wink: On AVSIM now.

For a few tries, when I want to test what my paint looks like in FS9, choosing another aircraft and then reloading the one I am working on shows my last alterations. But after a few goes that stops and I can only see what my changes look like by restarting FS9. Using the 'Reload Aircraft' option doesn't refresh the plane either. How do I get the a/c out of FS9 memory so that each time I reload the plane I see my changes? Having to restart FS9 every time is obviously very tedious! Thanks

Do someone know where i can find a good tutorial or user manual for the repaint kit of the pmdg 747 ? Am surprised that the Precision Manuals Development Group have not done this after all this time.
