Hi guys, Recently I've been hearing from various people that HD repaints are in quite high demand for some players at the moment so I took the time to do a complete HD repaint of a Boeing 757-200 (QualityWings) in Thomson Airways Dreamliner Colours. Hi, I have uploaded a repaint of the TDS b787-8 in Jet Airways colours, but I have noticed since that there is an odd problem with the fuselage. In my repaint, when the wing lights are on, a rectangular section of the fuselage is lit - which looks very odd. I can't see any difference between my bmp file and the corresponding one from other repaints I have downloaded. The screenshots compare mine with an Air India livery. The files are TD788_LBody_Center_T.BMP and TD788_RBody_Center_T.BMP The rectangle which lights up in my repaint is clearly present, just below the main fuselage. Hi Guys I am a real novice trying to install Repaint Wizard which I recently bought from Flight One The program is installed in FSX in the options tag However when I go to repaint an aircraft I get a error message to say that the progamme cannot find the "image text.exe". This may be a wrong pathway on installation problem. FlightOne refuse to give me any help which is very disappointing. Any help what so ever would be muchly appreciated. THANKS

Hey all, I just wanted to see if anyone knew where to locate aircraft decals, labels etc. to use for repainting liveries. I cant locate any warning labels that are used for aircraft anywhere, or I am looking in the wrong spots. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, first of all I want to thank all those talented painters who contribute so much to our community, but: Every time I add a new livery to one of my aircraft I have to add the parking codes myself to the aircraft.cfg. Of course it is no big deal, but I wonder why the painters don't add the codes, as they release all the other cfg entries? It is so simple, just add the line: atc_parking_codes=*ICAO code of the airline*

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some pre existing prop textures ( Prop_C172.dds) for the Default 172. I have painted the prop for the aircraft while the engine is not running. What I'm looking for is a prop with a red and white tip while the prop is running. I have tried to paint the Prop_C172.dds but it comes out black and the lines don't look right. I don't exactly how to work with the Alpha Channel for the texture. If you know of a pre ex existing texture please let me know. I did a bit of snooping around for a Drukair repaint for the Qualitywings BAe 146. I couldn't find any downloads for the repaint I desired, although I did find screenshots and forum posts of the QW146 with a Drukair livery on it. Recently purchased the C172R and have been having " fun " with the paintkit ever since . First out of the paintshop is PH-EAM which used to be based at Schiphol ( EHAM ) but that is no longer the case . Some time ago I had painted this aircraft for Flight1's C172R and wanted to do the same for Carenado's C172N but the texture mapping on that one let me down . here are some screens of PH-EAM ( still a " work in progress " ) . Not to pick on this particular repainter, they all have the center engine white when the rest of the plane is chrome or bare metal. Is there a fix for this? Note white top part of center engine inlet area. They all are like this.

Here's the issue: For my FS9 POSKY 772 that I'm using in FSX+A, I want the OS772Option.bmp to be transparent. I placed black alpha channels behind it, and it worked. However, autogen (trees, clouds, buildings) turn invisible behind the bumps, like I've shown here. Any way around it?

I had a question about how to edit repaints. I have the ERJ 145 V2 for FS9 and the McPhat liveries. Would it be possible to use the Delta new color livery from the ERJ 145XR to replace the Deltaflot livery on the 145LR with some editing? I heard it can be done and I was wondering if someone knew how to possibly get it to work. Thank you!

I did the CLS B762 in the AAL livery about 3 years ago, and received many requests to do the B763. Unfortunately I never got around to it, but I decided to return to the project today. A few tweaks and I'll be done.

I have just started a repaint of a Israir Dash 8 (Majestic Paint Kit). Israir only flies the ATR so this is a fictional paint. Now its a little difficult to ask my question without posting a photo, however, I will give it a shot and perhaps someone here can look it up. The new livery has a number of shapes on the tail that wrap around the bottom of the fuselage. The shapes are circular and triangular and all have different colours, some of the intersections of these shapes are transparent where you can see the shape below. My method of painting this is to draw each shape using the Pen tool in Shape mode. Just wondering if that is the best technique of if you w…

I was a an exceptional painter in FS2002 and FS2004. I did quite a few repaints of various aircrafts, but I am having a time at my first attempt at repainting in FSX. When I convert and load the DDS texture into DXTBmp, I export the Alpha Channel to my editor for editing. After editing I reload or import it back into the bitmap. Then I save it back into its original DDS DXT5 format and then open FSX. When I do, the entire bitmap is transparent. I am sure it has something to do with the Alpha Channel, being that these channels or layers are levels of transparency. Any help would be appreciated by you experienced FSX Painters.
