First and foremost, I'd like to thank SAS/Scandinavian Airlines for providing the materiel's that they did. Without them and their contributions this project, we'd would've never proceeded. In keeping with the American Airlines tradition that started via John and myself, I'm moving toward completing a entirety accurate SAS A319, which by the way hasn't been easy. I've had to completely redraw certain sections by hand. If I'm lucky, I might be able to coax John Glanville into this project as a co-producer and or team-leader. WIP - Work Thus far.

Hey guys, i am having a problem with painting the PMDG 737-700, this is my first attempt, so i might be missing something, but i can't see it myself. I'll provide a picture below so you guys can see what i'm talking about. If you look at the fsx window, you can clearly see that there is something wrong. But in the background you can see the paint itself, and it looks all fine, any ideas?

Hi All, This is my first attempt at PMDG repaint. The fuselage appears extra white in the sim. Its freakishly white, too bright kind of like chalk streak. I havent done anything to the color. Its the same white color from paint kit. I downloaded fresh paint kit, without editing anything, i converted fuse2 section to dds and tried in the sim. Its still too white. So i am thinking it has something to do with conversion or photoshopping. Any ideas? Help really appreciated..!!

Hello all, I purchased the razbam metro III a couple of weeks ago and am having a heck of a time trying to figure out the paint kit for this aircraft. I've seen some really cool repaints so I know there are people who have some knowledge of working with it. The problems I am having are related to the supplied locked psd file showing the fuselage in several "segments" rather than one continuous section. How do you line up stripes on the different segments without going back and forth guessing each time hoping that they line up? I created a new layer of the aft fuselage and placed it behind the forward fuselage and it is slightly off in size...it doesnt line up perfectly. A…

Hi all, I have spent many hours and achieved rather good skills painting FS2004 aircraft (thanks to Leen de Jager for his patience and mastership) for my virtual airline. Now we are starting our migration to Prepar3Dv2 (P3D2) and another challenge begins. For those more experienced members of this forum, I would like to leave a few questions here hoping that someone could give me a hand: 1. P3D2 uses DDS textures. Hopefully I see that DXTBmp can open and save those textures. Do they contain the alpha channel embedded as the bmp for FS2004? 2. Been trying to hunt down a United Airbus A320 repaint for Aerosoft's Airbus A320/1 Extended. Anyone know where one can be sourced from? Spotted this repaint at Las Vegas last June and in fact flew in it from KLAS-CYYZ.

A vast internet spanning a gazillion terabytes and no one has ever made a written or video tutorial about how to get the front end roof, sides and nose textures to align properly on the 737NGX paint kit. Is there a gem out there I am missing? Every single YouTube tutorial on painting the NGX is done with an easy livery that requires no thought what so ever about the front nose and roof texture alignment. When one paints a very detailed no repeating texture or gradient fill on the front, aligning textures becomes a nightmare I have discovered. Good day painters and friends. I'm recently working on AirAsia A320 with the "sharket" versions of Project Airbus, and I have a little problem here. I can't figure out the font type of 'airasia' on the fuselage and the quote 'Now Everyone Can Fly' Does anybody know the name of this font or where I can get the fonts?

And I wonder how this is possible. As far as I know, alpha channel controls the general reflectivity of the texture, but in this case, it looks like something is added on the top of the painting. I can see that this is a sensitive topic to discuss about because this work is done by a long time progress, but it would be more than greatful if anyone could give me some information. Hi there I've been working on a repaint of the SkySpirit2010 767 for FS9 and apparently a registration can be applied above the cockpit windows using the OS767Option2.bmp file and corresponding alpha. Despite several attempts though, I haven't been able to make this texture visible yet. From what I've read, the visibility of this file in the FSX version is controlled via an .xml file, however this doesn't apply in FS9. Can anyone help me with the correct way to make this texture visible in the FS9 model? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.
