What do you have to do to make the windows transparent? Everytime I make a NGX repaint my passenger windows are a solid grey. How do I fix this? Example of what I mean: Also how do you fix that weird white line that runs through the fuselage. The line is nowhere in the repaint files, but it still appears on the fuselage. The weird line I mean runs through Korean Air logo.

Hello I have a problem with a repaint I recently started. The repaint has to do with Astra Airlines. The color is blue black. When in flight during daytime the color of the engines with the color of the fuselage is the same. Althought when flying during nightime the fuselage's color get darker but the engines color remain the same as when flying daytime. I include two photos to check it: As you can see, the engines do not follow the color change of the fuselage and this ruins my repaint. Any ideas for what reason this happes and whether it can be changed and how? Thanks in advance Antonis Kosmadakis SX-AKO

I am not the best "cutter outer" on photoshop :/ I have searched google for this logo on the tail of the plane: I can't seem to find a decent HQ one anywhere and now I'm turning for some help to see if any of you could cut it out for me or find a nice HD one. HELP.

Dear everyone, i just want to do some repaints on the fabulous-frame rate friendly-overland a32x family, But after i downloaded the paint kit from simmer's sky's official website, i found there are no .bmp flies for the body of the bird but .psd files. I have googled the way to do and i know a similar topic is started in this forum, but that cannot really let me understand how to deal with the bird;( So please, are there any overland a32x painters here? Is it possible to add liveries to the airliners included in the FSX game? I notice that the 737-800 and 747-400 have blank (in white) planes shown in the lineup. If it is possible how do you do it? I would love to repaint both planes in Delta Airlines colors. bemsmini

Hey guys, I have completed 2 repaints now (one iFly 737 and on DreamFleet 727) and they were basic liverys. The quality turned out pretty good and now I'm looking into making the "private jet" type paints. I found a particular one I really like (On airliners.net search for M-STAR) but I have no idea if it can even be done. It would be nice to get some insight from the experienced guys here before I even try! Personally, from what I have learned, I can't see where to even begin! Hopefully someone can chime in! Hi there, I'm working on a repaint of the PMDG J41 and the last thing left is the spinners, which I want to make chrome (all other repaints I have seen have black spinners). So there are two texture sheets to consider, the fuselage and the fuselage Spec texture. Both have black spinners and both alpha channels are black. I thought it would be sufficient to change the spinner color on the main fuselage sheet from black to light grey and leave everything else the same but that didn't work. Since then, I've experimented with a lot of different combinations but the best I can come up with is a grey when viewed in the direct light--not a shiny silver. There is plenty o…

Hi all, I'm trying my hand at my first ever repaint for FSX. I'm in the process of repainting the JustFlight DC-3 to a Flying Tiger Lines livery. This one Reference #1 Reference #2 I have done the fuselage correct;y, but am so far unable to come to grips with the IMO horrible paintkit, specifically regarding the sharkmouth. I have done the sideparts ok, but the undernose DDS keeps getting messed up. Somehow the model is mirroring the undernose part and scaling is way off. I can't get the lines to connect together, so as to get a connecting and alligning sharkmouth under the nose. I have read about the old Abacus fsxrepaint tool, but …

I had a friend create this paint for my Daughter, who is also into flight simming, espically in the P-40....We have made flights together to just about every corner of the world....She has logged more then 300 hrs in the A-2-A P-40 #155. and now spends all of her time flying this one.....185 hrs and counting..... Hoping to ride along the economic boom in Angola I have created Blue Horizon Air Cargo in Air Hauler to serve FNLU, as well as short/medium haul routes in the Congos and Gabon. I began with one Caravan and have just today leased my first addition to the fleet, a lovely Premair Do-228. Greetings all. I need some help with a problem with a moire pattern in the specular map for the Carenado King Air. Here is a link to what it is looking like. If you look at the white under the heartbeat line it has a moire pattern. Is there a way to smooth this out? Thank you for your help. Kevin Jessee

Most users here seem to paint heavy metal. Not me - I am a small aircraft painter... My current project is the Warwick Carter (and co) North American Texan T6. What you see here is really only an "alpha" - there is a long way to go before I have made new panel lines, rivets and screws (although you can see the first changes here) Enjoy - it's only w-i-p, but I just felt like sharing progress.

I've posted this question on another site with little response. Okay, I'm not the most experienced or talented painter. However I can hold my own. Admitted right off, this one has me stumped. Aircraft: AIA EMB-120 Paint Prog: GIMP - FSRepaint - DXT2BMP Problem: No night lights on any AIA EMB-120 when viewing the aircraft in FS9. I have painted an EMB-120 (soon to be uploaded to avsim) and have created an exceptional (IMHO) lightmap. Proper alpha channel and all. I can view the results of my work with the GIMP in FSRepaint. Hey guys! I am about to finish up my first repaint and even though it's a "simple" repaint, it's been bringing me so much trouble. I just learned about Alpha channels and am trying to get those finalized. In the pictures below, how do I get the silver "lips" of the engines to be selected in the alpha channel perfectly? How do I get that grey line at the top to go away? Also notice the line straight on the bottom of the intake. The next question was one that I somewhat have solved after several hours but want to see if there is an easier way to be done... How do you guys get the lines across the tail to line up perfectly? So I added a Douglas A-26 to my fleet (FSE) so of course it needed a new paint job.
