It has a ways to go, but I've decided to paint the Embry Riddle Diamond DA42 livery. I haven't seen to many repaints out there done for the Eaglesoft DA42, and thought this would be a great addition.

A repaint of the Carenado T210 HD - Fictional scheme, will be available soon with a chrome spinner.

Can anyone help me identify the font used by Cirrus on their N-numbers? I've tried a number of different fonts and haven't been able to match as well as the guys at Eaglesoft did. Any help would be appreciated!A while back, I did manage to create the n-number on the livery below by manually moving around digits and drawing lines, however it is not the "true" font used by Cirrus (and honestly was a bit of a pain). :)Thanks for the help!

Hey everyone.Little problem here, I have the Carenado C152 II for FSX, and whenever I try to add textures on to the aircraft (Following all necessary instructions), they load in FSX and appear as very dark, almost non-visible. Does anyone have the same problem? Can I fix it, or am I doomed to these same textures for eternity?RegardsLuke

Hey, I'm currently trying to do my first repaint, a fictional repaint of the QW 757 in Virgin Atlantic colours... I managed to get everything painted (to a reasonable standard) using images and putting them on the master fuselage, however I had a problem when trying to get the paint onto the bitmaps. Here's something I just posted about it on the QW forum... I figured that there's likely to be some great painters here that could help me out:"I have everything painted properly on the main fuselage, left and right, as well as I can. Hi everyone!I am currently painting Skyspirits 767 V5(former Poksy) and discovered the new "DECAL" method on lighting.However, handling the DECAL files is becoming difficult since I am using GIMP not PS. The psd files and the bmp exported are not like it should be, they are covered in the black/white lighting map(layer) which is not transparent.I wonder if someone can help. And by the way, anyone explain the DECAL to me?Thank you.

I know the Beaver X was made for FS9 originally. Now it has come out for FSX. The FSX version has .dds textures. I found a repaint for the plane but they are in .bmp since they need to be DXT3 for FS9.My question is if I convert them to DDS prior to loading them into FSX, will it make a difference? Is it worth the trouble? I know they will work in FSX as bmp files but I want to know if it will improve them any updating them to .dds files?Thank you.

I have done a paint of the POSKY 747-400 in the old Eastern Airlines "hockey stick" scheme. I used the re-paint kit provided on the old POSKY site. Wanting to keep things above board, do I need to request permission from POSKY to release this paint for FS2004, to the community?Thx

Hi,i have done all the repainting myself but i can't get it properly into the FSX it turned out to be all black or all silver...I have heard about it alpha problem...I have tried to solve it for 1 week now i keep getting stuck is there someone out there who wants to just implement it into FSX no repainting just last push..to success Thanks so no long difficult repainting job a simple one !Its about D-level 767 and PMDG MD-11FBest Regards,Skippy

This might just be the last Era Alaska repaint I will be doing. It's been a lot of fun pumping them out, but it's time for me to paint something else. I'm told this repaint i've just installed in the PMDG 747X on FSX has a problem with its alpha channels being black. I've also been told this can be fixed using DXTBmp, which I have. Can anyone instruct me how to fix this? Never come across this problem before as i've created repaints myself. Cheers! Trevo

It's a fictional livery, but she wears Era's colors nicely.

I was using FSRepaint, and mistakenly overwrote the default palette with one made from the image. When I tried to reload all the other colors they are gone. How can I get a multicolor palette back...it's looking for .rpf files but I'm left with only the one that was made with all the whites and greys. I'm stumped. I'm still trying to decide on the final scheme, but since it's a fictional livery, I don't have to base it on any given excisting scheme Era Alaska has now. Any way, this is just the beginning of my painting showing the tail end of the aircraft.

Installed a repaint of subject AC, by Don McManus. Noticed a couple of questionable areas. I have attached two pics highlighting those areas. Have circled them in red. I looking at other paints of the Cal Classic DC-7B, I do not see any similarities or reference to these circled areas. I have e-mailed Don but have not heard from him. Just wondering what your take on these areas are. On both sides of the fuselage. There appears to be a small window by the logo Eastern letter "S". Don't see it on any other DC-7B's. Don't know what the area below the cockpit windows would signify.Thx

I made a repaint for the camsim B789...then, it was time to create the alpha channel, I created it, but the alpha channel made my airplane partially trasparent (I used a light grey) istead cromed.why?!?!the alpha channel usally controls the reflection, isn't it?thnks so much
