Work in progress, has a way to go before I finish her and post it on avsim.com, but this is based on a real world livery.

I was woundering if anyone could point me in the right direction? I would like to add a Teaser Image to the upload package of my repaint and would like to know how to create an image like the main repainters do with an image of the aircraft with wheels up, side on view and custom background? I am sure this image is not taken from the Sim (Ctrl + Prtscn) and edited is it?I have looked about but not can see any tutorials with regards to this subject?any help would be well received

My good friend jack is in his mid 60's, he has flown a multitude of differnt planes in real life, his flying activities are limited to real life GA aircraft nowadays with ththe occasional flight on my FSX.jack use to fly DC3's for Skyways and I have been looking for a repaint for an FSX DC3 in Skyways liverey for sometime. I dont mind whick DC3 I get a reapint for, deafult FSX, MAAM or the recently released JustFlight DC3. is there anyone who could maybe see their way to such a repaint and in doing so put a smile on an old pilots face?In anticipationles

I am totally new to doing repaints, but I am wanting to do a better repaint of the Air Canada A330 from Overland, except I have no idea where to start. Is there a specific program needed? The reason i want to repaint that aircraft is because the repaint out on the library is blurry whenever I fly the Air Canada A330 textures in the simulator.

I painted this livery back in 2008 for FS9. I've done a little cleaning on the paint job, and I've released her for FSX this time around.

I know American Airlines only added the pink ribbon to their 777, 767. and ERJ, but I thought it looks nice on the ATR as well.

This is probably a bit of a noob question, but is there a way to enhance the resolution of an already made texture fitted to a model? For example, I wanted to paint some more of the KC-135 by PADG (I recent released two: Utah and Beale), but the resolution of the aircraft texture by default is quite grainy and looks poor when trying to add an insignia with a fair amount of detail. I use Gimp 2.6, DXT and thats about it. Thanks in advance.

First, let me say thank you to all of you who provide us with so many wonderful repaints. I wish I had the talent/knowledge/time/resources (pick one or more) to learn how to produce such realistic work. I know your efforts are greatly appreciated but rarely acknowledged!My question/request is this: I see there are several Frontier/Republic Airlines repaints in the library for the FT/Wilco 170-190 ejets but I haven't been able to locate any for the 175/195v2. I'm assuming the 170/190 paints won't work on the v2 birds but is there a reason the v2 repaints aren't being done? I would love to see the entire series of Frontier/Republic's "a whole different animal" fleet....espe…

Hi community,Was looking for a little help if possible from somebody with more painting skills than myself.Firstly, has anybody imported the Aerosim 747 series into FSX?I did this so that I could have a 747SP with a VC, but I have hit one snag which seems to be affecting the sim.The original aircraft had dirty windows, also, as I recall in FS9, it somehow had an external effect that made it appear like you could see the slipstream passing the windscreens.Move forward to now, and when I use the aircraft in FSX:I appear have what appears to be a light grey "flashing mesh" over the windscreen. Hello everyone,I would like to use the PMDG MD-11F paintkit in Photoshop for FS9. Whenever I try to open the PMDGMD-11F_Fuse_Right [or _Left].psd, photoshop announces that it detects unknown data in the "Night Windows" layer which are to be discarded. It then tells me that some layer sets were damaged and have been repaired. The left fuselage looks rather normal but has only three layers: Master Textures, Base and Layer 1.The right fuseslage is completly black with only the windows visible.Is it my problem? Something wrong with the paintkit? Anybody know about this?Thanks for any help!Cheers,Dennis

I have A few questions regarding repainting A PMDG MD-11,,(I have downloaded the kit via the PMDG site)-How should i be saving my final project (alpha channels (DDS))? Is DX5 five the correct way? -Im merging all my layers on photoshop before saving the final project, is this correct?-Im also having night texture issues, such as turning my logo light on, it replaces the texture to the MD-11 (original logo) Any help is great, thanks!-Sean

HiI am repainting a Posky 737-800. winglet no eyebrow modelfor some reason the inside of the apu exhaust is red. the tail is red so I guess its interfering. is this a common bug?how do I fix it? Is there a place on the texture file for apu exhaust?thanksBen Thomson

I'm trying to do T-1A repaints (of almost all of them, 1 per sq.) using Eaglesoft's Beechjet/Hawker 400 and I notice that the T-1A Jayhawk has 3 windows, and the Hawker's have 7, I think. Is there a way I can "Paint Over" the windows so that only 3 appear? ( I read somewhere something about the alpha channel can fix this...)

Hi! I'm new to rapainting aircraft but i wanted to have a try on the feelthere C208B Grand Caravan.I'm painting with GIMP 2.6, it's some kind of freeware photoshop ( really awesome).Now i've painted the caravan but the textures appear blurry on FS.Only when i zoom and unzoom again i get a sharp paint.Could anyone give me the cause of this issue?Here's an example of the paint.Thanks in advance!!

I am having a problem with re-textureing of this addon. I want to re-texture for District of Columbia Police car. It looks pretty good at this point, but when I try to recolor the hood, it just turns black. Also, the top is black and two areas on the bumper are black. This isn't the case on the original.
