Anyone out there have a paintkit for the Suprunov Design Yak40?

I recently downloaded the Project OpenSky A340-200 and -300 repaint kits to find they only come with PSD files.What are PSD files and how do I repaint with them?I have attatched a photo below of what I got when I tried to paint on the airplane. As you can see, the airplane remains black.I really have no idea on this one...Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!P.S.:My Software:DXTbmpPaint.NET

I have noticed that many repaint kits are configured in a way that makes it difficult to add any form of text. This difficulty is a result of the fuselage sections being inverted/mirrored in a way so that you have to apply text backwards/inverted; so that the only way you could read it would be to hold it up to a mirror.I don't know how to get my software to write text backwards. I don't know how I could mirror or invert regular text so that it would be properly applied.Can anyone tell me how to do this? I'm totally baffled, and I haven't found any FAQs that already address this, and I've checked multiple sites; even Project Opensky.My Software:DXTbmpPaint.NETAny help is …

I am using DXTBmp program and Photoshop CS4. I have been trying to change some liveries of NobleAir aircraft. I have been succesul at opening the textures changing it and saving them back to the original folders. The only problem is that the textures that I worked on looked extremely blurry as compared to the areas that I had left untouched. Does anybody knows what I am doing wrong? It looks blurry if looked from the front, rear and above.I am using FS2004I have attached three jpegs on which it shows the problem with the changed left side of the aircraft (picture on the right) as compared to the right side of the ircraft which was untouched (picture on the left side)The "…

For FSX: I was wondering if there was a way to package a repaint for others in which the aircraft description is also included. I know this can be done after the repaint installation by a simple edit of the aircraft.cfg file. I was wondering if there was a way for the installer to do this automatically rather than include a text file for the user to cut and paste into the aircraft.cfg file.

Hello!I just downloaded this repaint, and when I loaded up the sim, there is a transparent area on the nose of the aircraft, as the shot below shows: The transparent area shows up on both sides of the fuselage, as this shot shows: Is this some error in the repaint, or perhaps FS is interpreting something wrong from the texture file?Now going on the premise that I don't know squat about repainting aircraft, is there a way this can be corrected (meaningmay I ask the assistance of one of you fine folks), or will I have to contact the original author of the repaint? How do I get the section indicated by the arrow below, to not reflect? It should just look black.Should that portion of the Alpha channel be coloured white? Does it have anything to do with the associated Specular file?

Hello,I am just starting with 'painting'. As a start I wanted to correct minor part of existing .bmp file.I use adobe photoshop, made a small correction and wanted to save the file. It automatically saves that as .psd file. If I change the setting and try to save it as .bmp it seems to be incompatible with FS9 as the aircraft either does not work at all or has strage stripes and colour at the part which I changed.Any idea if I am doing something completely wrong or if I should save the adjusted file in some specific set-up format ?any recommendation will be very appreciated !many thanksJM
