I can't seem to find a blank texture kit for the FSX Lear 45..I what was supposed to be one at simviation but after working with it for wayyy too long I have relaized it is not the right kit (see pic), nothing fits right and it adds an extra door that shouldn't be there..anybody know where I can find a blank kit for this thing? I'm really wanting to get this bird painted right..any help would be greatly appreciated..

One of the many AI planes to populate my skies is Dee Waldron's lovely King Air 90. However, all of the repaint's have the same issue: the entire spinning prop texture is semi-transparent, meaning I can see it fine nose on, but if there is any scenery objects behind it (clouds, buildings, etc), I see the objects instead of the props. Might there be a way to fix this?

Hello, I just ran into an issue, I have been using Dxtbmp program to fix a window configuration issue on the CLS A340-600 and I have ran into a probelm, I wanted to make a proper reskin with out it being to blurry but the problem is when I unchecked where it said to include when saving box, i found this on my aircraft:If someone knows about this issue can you please help me?

I have successfully repainted a 777-300ER by using a Project Opensky repaint kit and have it running in FSX. But every time I select it it crashes. What is the problem? How do I fix it?Thanks

Hey,I am thinking about getting FSRepaint, is there anyone that uses it currently that can tell me what they think about it? Its not too expensive, only $30 so it must be kinda good?! Are there any difficulties to it? I am only thinking about painting my own 'real' airplanes and such into FSX, because no body has responded to my request yet... :( I dont have Photoshop or any of that high tech stuff because of its price!Thanks

In 10 years of reading fourms I never seen this done before but this is how much I really want to be able to do this..... paint OUT the cotpit seats in VC panel views. I want to back up my VC views in most of my aircraft but then the @#$% seat BLOCKS my view of the panel. There MUST be some way to "paint" out the seat so that I can view the panel from any distance. Just changing the "viewpoint" does NOT reaLLY FIX MY PROBLEM. Tell me how to paint out the seats (in enought detail that I can do it) and I'll pay you $100. Somebody made and very Nice PMDG 747-400 American Airlines repaint that is in the AVSIM Library. This is for FS 2004 and I had used it when I had FS2004. But now I use FSX and I have searched everywhere but I guess nobody got around to doing an American Airlines repaint for the PMDG 747-400X. Okay so the planes are similar probably in both versions as far as dimensions go. FS 2004 uses DTX3 and FSX uses DTX5? Is there anyway somebody could convert the PMDG 747-400 American Airlines repaint so that it will work with FSX?I fly for American Virtual Airlines on VATSIM and there are a couple of us that really want an AA Repaint. Hey guys..i was wondering how i create my own paint for my pmdg plane..so i downloaded the paint-kit and repainted it but now i dont know how do i make it available to use inside the simulator..i couldnt find a guide or something like that in the sticky that could explain me how to do it..if someone would give me link or explain right here it will help me very very very much... :)thank you very much

Everything in FS Repaint V2 works great, except for the fact that when I save the aircraft, they don't appear in FSX. I'm not even sure where the files are being saved. I save them and they are there everytime I open FS Repaint V2 but they are not in FSX. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program numerous times and yet, the new variations are still there, but I can't find them anywhere on my computer. Even if I just knew where these files were being saved I could copy a default texture, rename it, save the new textures over it and then update the Aircrafts CFG file. Hi guys,I just thought that I had my Styrian Spirit repaint of Feelthere CRJ 200 finished, but when I made my first night flight there it was - I had no lights in the aft windows and no logo light whatsoever. I used the Feelthere paint kit for the CRJ200, changing just the layers "Feelthere" (for the titles) and "FT" (for the green part of the tail logo) as well as the registraton in the registration layer and addding another layer for the white part of the tail logo, keeping them in their original order. I have been repaitning the Aerosim Boeing 737-200 model, and I have already done an El Al, Arkia, KLM and Transavia repaint. Now I'm at a loss, because I'm not sure what to do next. I was thinking of the old Surinam Airways 737-200, but then again, how many people will fly that bird anyway? Are there any liveries people want me to do?

Hey guys.. first of all im new to repainting. I decided to try and repaint my A320 and A321 for my VA a few days ago.I tried repainting the default FSX aircraft just to learn the steps involved etc. Using photoshop cs3 and dxtbmp I had no trouble repainting the default A321. So I figured I'd move on and start repainting my payware aircraft.I've been trying for 3 days now and I just cannot seem to figure it out. Again I'm new so my knowledge isn't all that much. I'm using Photoshop CS3, and so far so good. However, I'm now doing an old Transavia livery for Aerosim's Boeing 737-200, and I have stumbled upon a problem. The green lines on the fuselage of the plane eventually curve upwards to the tail, and it's a pain to make this realistically with the tools at hand, and so I was wondering if there isn't a tool that's like the polygonal lasso tool, but instead of it making straight lines between selected points, you can make these lines curve. I have seen this sort of tool in other programs, and it'd be great if it would be here somewhere too. If it's not in Photoshop as is, is there then maybe a plugin for it? I'm managing as it is…

I am new to this. I created a repaint of the default 73 (fsx) with photoshop by using DDS converter 2.1. It wouldn't allow me to convert back (vista problem?), so I tried doing a plug-in for photoshop BUT i have vista 64bit and it is not supported by the plug-in. To get around this I installed paint.net, opened the file I saved from photoshop and saved that as a .dds. Finally, I put that in an already existing texture folder and opened fsx. The plane is black except for the files I didn't edit. Anyone have an idea? What about a fix for the plug-in problem?*EDIT I installed the plugin to the CS4 non-64bit version and that works now. Are they in the file named b737_800_1_T? I looked in b737_800_2_T as well, and I couldn't see any engines, only wings and the tire rim. So what file are the engine textures in? Thanks, Unknown98Edit: Oh, and also where are the wingtips?

Hey all, need a little help. I've been painting for some time in FS9 so I'm pretty familiar with but I'm trying to learn to paint in FSX and having a hard time with the alpha channels. For FS9 it was easy, just edit the alpha from DXT and presto your done..my problem is DXT doesn't handle the .dds files required for FSX, so I'm stuck...right now I'm working on an Eaglesoft Twin Comanche, I've got the paint looking right but there's no shine, there are two alpha channels in the paint layers but activating them doesn't work, it only blocks out the paint....how do I apply alpha channels in FSX? any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

I'm sorry for my poor English but I needed a help!!!! I repaint the DC3, (of Panair do Brasil S.A.) my first fly in airplane (1951). How can I paint the number of airplane whem in the original company model the letters PP is in left side of wings and the letters PCP is in right side of wings. In front of fuselage is the same. In the texture only appear the right side of fuselage. I attach the image of the airplane and the texture tha I have to work. Many thanks for help me.
