Hello guys, my plan is to create a new repaint of the gorgeous Level-D 767 WL. It will be British Airways. I know that British does not operate with this type (WL) A/C but I realy love the repaint (open skies). Here are the shots from 757: http://img197.images.../i/2709565.jpg/http://img210.images.../i/2716975.jpg/http://img248.images.../i/2729689.jpg/http://img143.images.../i/2734323.jpg/If someone can help me with the logo textures and open skies I will be glad. Some place where i can download them in photoshop format or so...Thanks for the people who can help me.

I'm wondering if there is a way to reverse the slant of italicized words, so that instead of the top of the letters leaning right, they would lean left instead. I'm using PSP and so far as I know, there isn't a way to do it within the font system. This pic was taken from the left side but many planes have the letter's italics reversed on the opposite side of the fuselage for reasons of symmetry.

I've searched for a long time trying to find a texture for the Wilco/Feelthere CRJ-200 that has the current United Express Livery. Since I couldn't find any. I went ahead and made one in Photoshop, using the paint kit. Still in its beta stages since it needs more work to be done. This is my first Flight Simulator Aircraft repaint so I hope it looks good.

I am doing a repaint of the Project Airbus A380 using their paint kit and Gimp 2.6, but when I select a colour and paint a part of the fuselage area the colour appears a different shade of the selected colour , but if I use the colour picker it appears as the correct colour!!

Ok so I got my ac painted and then one of the textures fuse2.It appears painted but when I loaded the ac up it was super glossy. i went back to check the alpha and the entire alpha was black. after reloading the default up i loaded the a/c again and nothing changed. After test flying it. Somewhere around 5,000 when it tranistioned above the clouds the glossy part appeared black. When I went back to check the alpha is was normal. So I closed fs took a break. And when I just now loaded fs again to take a screenie the entire ac is white. Even the parts that worked before. Anyone have any ideas?

Hey, I am a repainter and a while back I found this forum post whilst i was researching bare metal:http://forums.flight...ight=Bare+MetalI can do bare metal no worries, its the actual effect on the paintkit i want to know how to do? See how he made it appear to have shine on the paintkit itself. I usually just add shine with an alpha layer, but I would like to add this shine effect to my paints too...Now, I tried to figure it out by myself and I came close I think. I added a layer mask and then put a bilinear gradient on parts of the plane and it gives it that effect, but not as good as this example? So does anyone know how to do it as good as this one? Thanks, Connor

I am trying to make a part on a Texture transparent so that it is not displayed in the texture file on the final model. Basically a part on the engine needs to not show as the engine type and version has changed and this part is no longer required in the repaint, would an alpha channel make it transparent or would the model need work to make this part disappear?

I know at one time there was a beautiful depiction of what could've been an Eastern Airlines 737-200 on Mr. Cantu's model. I don't recall who painted it but I have searched to no avail and I can not find it for the life of me.Could someone point me in the right direction or perhaps you have it and would email it to me.Here's some screenshots of it.

As I'm making my first repaint for use in FSX< I'm also trying to make it into a DDS texture, but something eludes me in the whole DDS texture stuff: why is that, when I open a DDS texture in DXTBmp, that the texture appears vertically inverted? So, for example, I opened up a British Airways texture file of the Flight1 BN 2 Islander, but it was all vertically inverted when compared to the paintkit I use to repaint the aircraft. I have sen it also on the PMDG 747. Why is this? Should I invert the repaint I'm doing before converting it into a DDS texture, or is this automatically done? And what if you import an alpha channel? So, the alpha channels of the BN2 Islander do…

I'm stumped when it comes to getting a metallic gleam on my paintjobs. Not bare metal, but metallic paint, like you would have on a car. I've been trying to study pictures and look for the gradients, but the reflection is always different depending on the viewpoint. Even with alpha I haven't been able to achieve the look that I want. Anyone have some tips on how to do this? Thanks,Carl

I wonder how the aircraft "reflection" works. I´ve learned about the file, and where it´s located, but I wonder if it´s possible to alter the characteristics of how it moves and so forth. As per default, it seems to move across surfaces in relation to aircraft speed. Is there a way to tweak the way the reflections move?Any help appreciated,/Johan

Hello, can anyone please change the registration number on the FSX Carenado Bonanza F33A texture Bluered? As of right now it is a British registration and I would like the registration to be N6810B because my wife and I's son was born on 6-8-10 and our last name begins with B. Everything else with the texture is good just the tail number. If anyone could please do this I would be very very grateful!!Cheers,Bill

Hello Gents,I have a question on how to improve a set of FSX textures. These are for a Citation X and I have the version in both FS9 and FSX. While I am very happy with the night look in FS9, the FSX version looks rather dark and washed out to me.Here are a pair of comparison shots:I don't believe this is a limitation to FSX, but maybe I'm wrong. As you can see, the FS9 version has the tail lighting in sharp detail whereas the FSX version makes the logo nearly unreadable. In addition, the overall lighting of the FSX fuselage is really dark (what one would expect with a black paint job) but the FS9 version looks closer to what one would expect in reality.I have a feeling …

Chaps,I was wondering if any might be able to point me in the general direction of the font (or something similar) to that used by Pan Am for the aircraft title, similar to this: I'm finding it somewhat difficult to come up with something even passable. As always any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in Advance,Mark SkyKnight
