Hi.I found some difference between B142 and B140. For example:If I create flight from LDSP to LDZA and import this pln in AS, I have got strange wx report.NAV LOG screen looks like that (B142):Departure wx:LDSPLQMO 311300Z...LDSP 311200Z...Destination wx:LDZALJMB 311300Z...LDZA 311200Z...Because I have print outs of previous NAVLOG-s i can confirm that in version before B142 NAV LOG looks like that:Departure wx:LDSPLDSP 090430Z...LDSP 090600Z...Destination wx:LDZALDZA...LDZA...I notice this, because when I try to use Flightwatch, it said for destination ICAO code LJMB, and not LDZA (which is my destination airport). Hello,When I cruise with (or without) AS2004 active, I have this very annoying low level cloud layer (stratus-like) locked under my aircraft throughout much of the flight. It only disappears when entering the TMA...Now, this is probably not due to AS2004 since I have experienced this visual nuance before installing AS2004, but I hoped that AS2004 would remove it. Unfortunately not so.Can somebody maybe point to possible clues? I have carefully accomodated the AS2004 guidlines and settings suggestions. DamianThanks for a great product and really worthwhile updates. I must admit I am not a routine user of the Wx Radar module but now I find I cant get a wx Situation display. Under Planner it tells me no Flt Plan is loaded even after I have loaded the FltPln in AS2004 AND the ActiveRadar Planner module. Could that be the root of the problem? The Sit. Display shows APTS but no Wx. I had no problem before. I carefully followed the guidelines on P24/25. What am I missing?? Any help appreciated! Best regardsGareth

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but is there any kind of setting in ActiveSky that can minimize (or prevent) the plane from going to OVERSPEED situations anytime the weather or wind changes above FL210? I'm using the latest build (142?)and I'm using the FSUIPC that came with it. Do I need to buy the registered version?Thanks.

Hi I having problems with the upgraded version of fsuipc needed for activesky and older verions needed for pss aircraft.The pss aircraft keep wanting the older or registered version.Any ideas ?regards Rob

Hi to all!I notice that when you fly to LIRN (Naples - Italy) Activesky 2004 loads a weather station in USA! Like KDxx (sorry but I don't remember exactly). It's strange because the problem disappears when you are on the ground. Howdy,I'm running V1.1 (build 90) and seem to have a problem getting the downloaded wx to show up in FS9. I have read the FAQ regarding this sort of problem, but the suggested fix doesn't seem to be working for me. I saved a "default" flight, with the FSUIPC (registered) module set to Minimum Weather Defaults, and cleared all wx prior to saving the flight. When I load FS9, it loads with no wx of course. I then start up Active Sky and download the current wx (I'm using live, online wx & updates). However, after about 10 minutes of waiting, I still have perfectly clear conditions. I usually try a couple of refreshes during this time, waiting for the data to be com…

When my AS2004.5 Build 142 is downolading weather I can see a network activity (flashing LED on my DSL router) just after download starts but after 10-20 seconds any network activity stops and AS2004 looks like freezed (AS2004 interface is not refreshed). This problem occurs regardles if I'm in Online mode or dowloading archive wx files. If I wait patiently enough (10 minutes?) the program finishes downloading and works normal (starts wrtiting wx data to stations). But waiting 10 minutes is simply not acceptable for me. I have purchased ActiveSkyWxRE in the past and recently did a clean install of XP and need to reinstall activesky. Is it possible to simply move my Activesky folder from the old hard drive to the new hard drive or does it need to be reinstalled completely?

Hi,First of all, kudos to you for making another fantastic build. I'm using B142 and do not see any wind shifts whatsoever and very very few cloud pops (which I can live with).I was wondering whether anyone else has noticed problems with the active runway when you start a flight. Both at CYVR and at RCTP, I've noticed that I'm given the wrong runway at the beginning of the flight. (For example, current winds at CYVR are 100 degrees at 9 knots which would suggest use of 8R/8L but ATC gives me 26L/26R instead.)The problem doesn't occur with landings however, which leads me to suggest that the reason this is occuring is that the active runway is chosen before AS2004 is ab…

I recently have been getting winter weather in the middle of August, using ActiveSky 2004. I flew out of cleveland today and using AS2004, FS placed winter textures all around cleveland. I experienced this a week ago flying out of Flagstaff, and also flying out of San Diego. I used MS default weather downloads and do not get the winter weather, or winter textures? Any thoughts? I am using the lates Beta release of activesky.

Now I have ActiveSky 2004.5 I never fly my PMDG 737NG without it. It's great. Only problem is I'm always hoping for bad weather to make flights more interesting!If I want to experience the worst weather that ActiveSky can throw at my I guess the simplest way is to go to a weather website like weather.com and find out where there is severe weather - and then fly there???At the moment I am en-route from London Gatwick to Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The weather is too nice so I trying out different flight levels hoping for some turbulence!

Hi I can't seem to get the latest beta to download from "HIFI Data Net". I have followed the installation instructions carefully. With mr2 115 there was no problems. Wideserver.dll is fresch Wideclient.exe is the one provided. Active sky connects good to FS but stops when it should download.I have forgot my order nr. That wasn't a problem with 115. I did a fresh install and left the line for the nr blank.Any ideas? any specific detail you might want to know?AndersPs. If I'm doing a system restore to a point before installing 142 things work great again. (XP pro)

I'm flying GA planes (low and slow) - airspeed about 100kt in Washington state. My typical flight takes about one hour (about 100NM). Could you recommend me value of Suppresion Range for this airspeed and density of reporting stations in Washington?I think that default value for this parameter is more suited for airliners flying hundreds of miles.

Is it possible to get destination weather while airborne? The nearest station AWOS is neat, but is kind of like Less Nessman's 'I witness weather' reports - I can allready SEE what is going on with local weather - it is the stuff over the horizon I need info on! :-)
